    Also check for Ground Loops. :) Sometimes if you connect two grounded devices together via USB or audio plugs you can get the same sort of noise as discribed. So if you can borrow a ground loop isolator from someone if disconnecting the front audio doesn't work try that and see if it helps. (Or get double insulated supplies - Never lift one of the grounds with a cheater plug.) Sadly for me none of this fixes the clicks and pops I get from my fridge... :(

    • @RoeShamBoe
      @RoeShamBoe  6 лет назад

      sorry, I didn't see this comment. Anotehr thing to check is how close does the cable route near things that generate electronic noise such as the graphics card, CPU, power supply, etc. if the cables route close to these things, it may "bleed" into the cable. good luck, noise is sometimes not easy to find... even music engineers with lots of experience sometimes take a while to track down a problem. Good luck and I hope you figure it out!

    Need some advice. I just bought a new prebuilt MSI PC days ago. I've only had it for three and tried EVERYTHING to eliminate the electronic static from the front audio jack. I couldn't. Plugging into the back makes the static go away, and personally buying an audio cable extension and hooking it under my desk doesn't bother me. My concern is if this is a problem that goes beyond the front audio jack. Do you think that anything vital (aside from the front audio static) is at risk? Because of these COVID-19 times, I don't really want to return the PC but at the same time it was an expensive investment at 2,500 and I want this PC to last me 6 years minimum if not more. Could try a USB jitterbug if this doesn't help. Also, any one know of any well-shielded/after market panel cables could upgrade to to help reduce this? Personally I use digital output if I want super clean, but mostly I want speaker & headphones simultaneous. So can only do with front & back analog. Front headphones (sound fine) back speakers - cpu + hdd whine. Easy fix was ART DTI audio isolator, a transformer to clean up the audio on the way out. But better to fix at the PC if can.

    unless the EMI shielding on your mobo audio has gone bad, and you get electronic/CPU cycle noise ingress into your audio back I/O panel then there's nothing you can do. cables together should not be the problem if you are using a grounded outlet. The I/O panel is built into the mobo so there is no cable to change unless the front HD audio cable from the case is bad, and that's the ONLY place you hear noise, then that is the issue. Mine just started after 2 years of the build, started getting cpu cycle noise in all peripherals through the back I/O on all connectors. The front is silent connected to my HD audio header in the mobo. Any headphones or speakers connected to any of the 7.1 jacks built into the mobo, make noise, none form the front. Confirmed, EMI shielding, capacitor, what have you, is failing somewhere and bleeding noise into the audio. Front pc audio cables barely even reach the HD audio header usually located in the back of the mobo so there would be no rerouting you can do, unless you completely remove the entire bezel and unsolder the wires and build a new one, which opens up a can of worms for more issues to the front usb , power button etc. not worth the headache

      grounding issue from the motherboard. standoffs might not be secure or you have lose or missing screws holding the mobo to the case. that is why when you touch it, you are grounding the pc from the noise.

    Hey guys if this doesn't work out I have a solution that I did. So, there should be two jacks to put your mic in with a usb. Just switch it out into the other jack then it should be fine.
    If it helped please subscribe

    I have the opposite problem... My front jack where I keep my headphones plugged in works perfect. But my rear jack where I keep my speakers plugged in has the cursed crackling/static sound coming out of it 100% of the time, even when no sound is playing, and the only way to shut it up is to lower the volume of the speakers to minimum (via the volume control on the speakers themselves) but then obviously I can't use them. :(
    On a ASUS B450M-A motherboard.

      Well after a few hours of trying out everything I can think of or find on the Internet...
      I finally got it fixed by running the Windows 10 Troubleshooting. x_x and to my amazement it was able to find some hidden audio options that are normally not visible to me (or I just never saw them exist) and recommended me to have it turned off, I accepted and it asked for a restart, and after the restart it was finally FIXED!!!!!
      No idea what it was about but I am very glad to have it fixed... also I am new to Windows 10 (brand new hardware and software), it was probably a Win10 issue...
      Even more I am not used to Windows troubleshoot ever actually fucking fixing anything!! xD

      Nope, I spoke too soon perhaps, it worked for 2 hours then after I turned the PC off and on it stopped working again... :/ FUCK! And this time running troubleshoot for 5 times in row didn't fix anything -.-

    I knew it! I fucking knew it, this sketchy thin wires is the reason of this random buzzing sound! Do you have any recommendations of a good quality External soundcard?

    Hello guys, It didn't work for me BUT I found a solution for my static noise. There was a high frequency annoying non-stop static noise I kept hearing with my headphones (arctis 3). I opened the side panel of case (desktop pc) and the noise was also coming from inside while listening carefully. It was from PSU. Even when I shut the electricity it was there. Then I unplugged-plugged the power cable and the noise was gone for good. Both from headphones and PSU. Recently there have been many electricity cuts, shutdowns, now I think that they cause the corruption. I hope it helps you. It's really annoying noise and the relief when it is gone is so so good.
