  • The is two ways of finishing the floor:
    1. fitting the new floor up to the wall with little gap (about 5mm) and than skirting fitted on the top of new floor (that looks much better but also more work and costs).
    2. Or keeping the existing skirting boards and fittng the new floor up to the skirting boards. And thats what how some clients preffer. Because its cheaper i think. keep skirting boards and fit the trim around at the end. thats whats in this video.

Very easy. You'll need the glue, new or very sharp chop saw blade and nail gun. None of them cost a lot. Cheap tooolstation or screwfix products. Its the skill and attention to details that make a difference not the expensive tools.

I’m about to fit my flooring this week and that end is so tidy. What are the angles for those cuts to get it looking like that. Thank you.

Hey - great video. How would you apply the scotia to a PVC frame? We tried CT1 and there was just not sticking

Thanks. And great question, been thru the same and what i do is i simply pin the scotia to the floor instead of the skirting. I know i know but still better than loose scotia. Good luck

Wow. It’s not a how to video when you don’t include any information about what you are even doing. The Comments section is full of people having to ask you because you opted for awful music instead of explaining how you’re doing it. I’d change the title.
