    Do you use snap swivels for changing lures mate or do you find they impede the action of the lure or something so you tie straight to the lure?

      I use mustad fast tach clips these days they are strong and work good

    Hey Sticky another good vid thanks mate keep them coming. I used to get out and fish the beach up hawks nest a bit and found as the sun was going down the tailor would come on all of a sudden and then rack off once light was gone - maybe you weren’t in the wrong spot it just might not of been dinner time yet ;) Ever tried pegging one of these lures out in the surf instead of a pilchard on gang hooks ? Wonder if it’d work at all.

    • @stickyfishyfishing
      @stickyfishyfishing  5 лет назад

      Thanks mate yeah they like to bite just on sunset must be dinner time for them yeah lures work good off the beach mostly metal spinners so you can cast right out in the surf work good cheers 👍

    I caught tailor last week on just a ganghook with no bait on it. Was winding it in and got smashed lol. That day they were hitting everything, from daiwa double clutch lures to just the head of a pilchard. Just winding it in.

    Another great video tailored for Tailor enthusiasts (Pun was intended). A bit risky fishing from rocks in fading light without a torch, though. The day did actually end "on the rocks". In a good way. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for sharing. My wife caught a 50cm flathead on a soft plastic worm that had been halved by a chopper Tailor. Anything is possible when fishing.

      @stickyfishyfishing  5 лет назад

      Thanks mate yeah made it with still enough light too see where i was going and yeah tailor will eat anything that moves I've had them chew up a few plastics in my time nice flathead to mate and yeah anything is possible when fishing cheers 👍
