I’ve yet to see one of these on the road, I think that says a lot about how people think about this car.
I drove it and its not that bad it had more punch than the new M3 comp, but I would still choose the M3 because I don't like paying 130 grand for a 4 cylinder feels wrong still.

They should have named this car the C53 E-PERFORMANCE, because for a 63 car especially a C amg to have a 4 cylinder, not only is it horrible but it's disrespectful to the whole amg community 😂
C53 wouldnt make sense. 53’s have 6 cylinders my guy. C20 AMG sounds better.
@@MarlonAllen-dy9yv Now that I think about it , you're not wrong 😂, but I'd argue that a 63 amg car or a 6 amg car shouldn't have an engine that has less than 6 cylinders. Which is why I think it should be called a C53 E-PERFORMANCE until a proper C63 is announced with a V8 or a new V6.

Greens party is in the coalition government in germany. Probably will get worse. I Own a 2013 RS4 V8 FSI. And new RS4 10 years later is pretty much a downgrade with a V6 Turbo Motor...

As a previous owner of a 2020 C63S AMG, this car should have been released closer to the deadline of 2030. The fake engine sound filtered through the front speakers is in line with what BMW has been doing for years. However, due to complaints from AMG owners, the new CLE53 AMG has been released with a 6 cylinder engine. Hopefully, there will be a new CLE63 AMG with an 8 cylinder engine again. If AMG does this, I'm definitely ordering one. Thanks for the upload.
That would make 0 sense. What was the point of regulations in the first place then if they didn't have to follow them

@user-my4xu4gf1z They do have to follow them. Car manufacturers have until 2030, after which all new cars must be EVs. So, car manufacturers in Europe can still produce V8s until then. AMG went earlier rather than later.
CLE 63 will be 4-cil just like C63

@@bjornrosenzweig8535no it’s not faster, the old C63 and E63s have the same engine however the E63s has more Bhp. Like the guy said, AMG de-tunes the engine in the C63 to about 510-517 bhp
@@mengienghinamwaami4894 Yes but you're not gonna tune your engine on a brand new car unless you actually want to throw the warranty out of the window. When buying a brand new AMG you're gonna drive it stock until the warranty ends and then you're most likely going to buy a new one. Not everyone buys old AMGs and tunes them to oblivion, the majority of the customers buy the car and drive it without doing shit to it.
So therefor the new C63s E is faster, I don't know why you guys cannot get over this fact and say "yes but tuning it...".

Sometimes it is what it is. Picking up my E63s just after new year to add with my W204 and W205 C63. This is where the forks lies with AMG and I. F90 M5 or the Alfa QV is where I'll be heading to after. I don't really care if the W206 is faster,the AMG noise is what brought me over from M in the first place. To be fair the W206 C63SE will make an absolute bargain buy in a few years.
I love my W204 C63 and my E92 M3. Looking at adding the new M5 wagon.
@@TheExotich1 the W204 was the car that took me away from a E46. I cross shopped E92 vs W204 and the roar of the M156 completely won me over. No doubt the M3 handles better and it has a manual box. The M5 wagon and the E63s wagons are not available in Australia. My W205 is a wagon though.

2005-2015 was the pinnacle of engineering from almost ever manufacturer. Since then it’s down hill, emission whatever blah blah blah. I’m afraid the day of a car literally being as good as it can be is now long gone.
What will be the depreciation of this car in 6 months time and when will AMG this infamy ?
BMW never had that problem when the change the engine on the M Cars . From 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder and back to a turbo 6 cylinder

Seeing this, I'm absolutely grateful to be driving my W219 CLS55 AMG with the legendary M113k supercharged V8. They never should've stepped down from the V8 formula...

For me this is no longer a real AMG. AMG is for me: big engine, emotions, no fake sound,....
BMW did it this time much better with the M3.
And for what you get, this car is to expensive. My old + tuned and weight reduced BMW E46 has a bigger engine: 6 cylinder + 3.0 liter.

Fw your review style heavy and the way you filmed this. Just one note on the audio while you’re driving could be better. Mercedes are definitely mad charging 100k+ for this, makes no sense. New CLE 53 and 63 will prob be the AMGs to get and will eat into the market share of this thing.

It's a shame about the sound because the straight line performance is impressive (considering the weight).
c63 was never about straight line performance,there are other models for that, it was always about the sound and how fun it was to drive, a 2.5 ton car cant be fun to drive even with 1000hp
@@georgepoulos1592 I completely agree, it about that lovely muscular rumble, tunnel runs and the roar of that glorious AMG V8, it's a shame all that's gone now (but I still think the performance is impressive for a 2.1 tonne car).

I am constantly amazed at how many people brag about their car’s HP, but don’t have a clue as to its weight or torque. I have a MkV GTI modded to 2837 lbs. it is stage 3 tuned . I get owners of high performance street cars with at least 75 more hp thinking that they will walk on me and promptly view my tail lights. It’s power to weight that makes a car quick and fast. As far as going 2.0 turbo , makes sense if you want balanced performance in every area( acceleration, braking ,handling) Guys with heavy feet and small penises might not like it, but then they can always go buy a Vette.
It doesnt look bad from the outside, its just everything once you walk in is wrong.

I currently own a 2020 E63s AMG and absolutely love it, but I am never buying a 4 or 6 hybrid AMG no matter how fast. I will be adding an M8 Competition or M3CS Comp later this year....instead of staying with Mercedes.

hey man sound can be fix dont stuck on sound engine come on man analyse stability antispin system wheel never spin is full fast no lag no delay is hungry engine u can later tuned all system exhaust full more strong sound plus is more economy vs any v6 v8 is no bad low money cost swap or buy parts.
Reminds me of being a kid and eating rice krispy cereal. If you put your ears really close to the cereal, you'll hear it snap, krackle and pop ever so softly... Let's Go BMW!!!
