You'll need the gas to get up the long hill from the main street area to your home!

Currently, we have an electric golf cart. It's a nice golf cart, however, the plan is to move to a GAS golf cart! Electric golf carts have to be teathered to a charger, the batteries go bad, and then it's a real mess. I have lots of distilled water, because I'm on a ventilator, however, It'd be much easier, if we had a gas golf cart. PLUS, I like the sound of a gas golf cart! GAS IS BETTER, unless you're trying to be quiet! We're next to a campground, and there's numerous gas golf carts over there, so the noise isn't an issue!

I agree with you! I see quite a few issues with electric carts in my area, especially with the heat that we have in Arizona. Thanks for watching my channel!

Hey Shawn, just take the governor off and you can go even faster😂. Seriously, I agree with you on gas. Some people don’t realize that to manufacture the batteries requires strip mining, which is not good for the environment.
I have heard of the same issues you have with fires from charging the batteries. For the gas models (just like the cars) a battery maintainer is most likely the way to go if the vehicle won’t be driven for a while. We use one on our cars when we go to AZ for a while. When we return, our batteries are good to go.
Hope all is well, and looking forward to a ride in that awesome cart sometime!

Good idea Richard! I think that Todd would do that if they had to actually drive outside the community. Inside the gates they can go pretty fast. Would love to see you guys next time you're here!

Gas is the only way to go. When those batteries go bad you'll know why! Plus they add to the pollution not to mention the energy to charge them
