Sometimes you know that this is a Sad place where the forgotten characters live, sometimes you know that something good will come, something good, something will change to make the wasteland be a better place but... sometimes you just feel the depression, suffer and pain from all of those characters who didn't deserved this...
As a kid i immediately noticed how dark the game was, it’s slightly unsettling but I genuinely loved it
I think the game did really great in terms of getting the player emotional. This game cut really deep in terms of nostalgia and the feeling of failed projects.
I agree, I was a nervous wreck about getting the bad ending when playing this for the first time.
It’s incredible how throughout the whole game, you can just FEEL the effect that the Shadow Blot and the Thinner Disaster have had on the Wasteland. It’s like looking at a city trying to be rebuilt after a World War 2 bombing run: everyone’s trying to keep up hope and make a better tomorrow, but with the ruined atmosphere, that hope is waning, and fast

The piano here is soooo good. The way the keys are basically slammed down makes it filled with so much despair and hopelessness.
Also, it's slightly detuned like the haunted mansion piano.
I should dust off my Wii and play Epic Mickey...such a creative game :)
If you havent already, you should totally go for it. I played it for the first time since I was like 6 or so when quarantine started initially and it was a blast to delve through it since it was nothing short of a treasure trove of memories.
Or you could wait for the remaster

Here is a interesting fact,the Neutral,and Neutral thinner,have no banjo sound at the beginning.(Unlike Epic mickey 2.)

God bog easy's thinner theme is terrifying imo
Here is weird fact I just realized,it you combine the Neutral theme and the Neutral paint theme,you would get a seamless transition.That means you can make a extended version of Bog easy's theme.(which is pretty cool!) (Also,I fixed the comments slightly some time later,sorry about that.)

The attention to detail when it came to atmosphere is (at least for me) what made the game more enjoyable too
Just played through the game for the first time doing all the thinner stuff! And gosh I will always love the dynamic music how it changes depending on what you're using. Such an amazing touch for this game!

*Ahem* Bog Easy certainly embodies the depression of the residents/toons that have been forgotten, and with music like this you just feel awful for them. It doesn't help that the Thinner Disaster just made their condition worse.
