    Thanks Louis,
I just started a VoIP business and offering a simple package for my niche in parking. I'm not expecting to make millions or anything.
I just offer my client simple solution base on what they told me. I was able to save two of my clients over $600.00 dollars a month. On a phone system.
After watching your video. It just reaffirm that my pricing and features to my clients are scalable and reasonable.
Am I under cutting myself? No, because my cost is low to where my profit is still high.
I'm not trying to under cut anyone. Client needed a cost efficient solution and I was able to offer a simple solution.

i'm looking for a VOiP provider for my boss and I'm trying to understand what all of this is in the first place. Came across your videos. I hope I'm on the right track here. But on a slight tangent: your brain must be super duper strong. Bc mine feels like it's exploding XD

might be worthwhile to add a dollar or two a month in costs for the power that little core2duo system is sipping away at, but apart from that, that's still a very marginal cost compared to a hosted PBX

    Hi,
wouldn't freepbx on a vserver be a suitable option for clients where physical security is an issue?

You forgot to talk about customization and control. Most cloud providers force a one size fits all solutions interface especially with Cisco. On a small scale law firm that's fine. But in a large size law firm or agency with a high call volume environment, that format can be a hendrence. Also, cloud providers give very limited admin rights to your IT staff. That means some changes have to be done by filing service tickets with the provider in which the provider makes the changes in their time and procedures not yours. Then there emergency situations. If you are in a building where your company is spread out and/or occupying multiple floors and a fire hits your network trunk, you might be disconnected with the outside world but your staff can still communicate with each other on a local PBX. On a cloud PBX, you can't even coordinate with each other.

The problem is do you have the time to maintain it and understand how to do it? Same thing with your car do you have time to fix your car if you do then more power to you but most people are busy and building a company is even harder to delegate your time.

How about running FreePBX in the cloud via AWS EC2, how would that setup looks on your SIP phone, what about the server config how diff will that look.

Really the only different would be in the netwrok part of the setup.
You would be connecting to a servier outside of your local network, so you would be using the aws server's public IP address instead of an internal IP for your local network. You would also have to configure the firewall, on both sides, to allow the traffic to pass back and forth. Otherwise this type of setup is the same as a local setup. While you are using Amazon's service and servers, they are not going to help you with your FreePBX setup. They will not help with any issue you may have on your virtual server. They will be maintaining the physical hardware that your virtual server is using, but that's pretty much is. However you can have back up images of your system when it is working and switch to that fairly easily if something were to go wrong. But for this privilege you will be paying amazon a monthly fee for the server, and bandwidth costs. Though they now have $5/month servers with a decent amount of bandwidth included. so really not bad.

Ces juste de valeur que tu lise un texte qui te dit quoi dire. Car tu est loin et même très loin d’offrir autant de service qu'un vrais PBX ( Panasonic ). Dommage pour toi ..................
