@@ReveMoto I couldn’t find the power plug until you revealed the little plastic tab that had me going crazy, Bro you saved me tons of money and my sanity! Thank you so much.. BTW this was for my daughter’s 2011 pathfinder. She’s in college so I wasn’t trying to pay a body shop! Much respect bro!
Awesome walk-through. I was going it alone on my 2015 Frontier. Who needs instructions, right? Well, apparently, I do. Nissan could have made this a lot easier by putting the plug on the mirror end of the wire. Only addition I would make is that it's easier to hold the mirror and put the nuts on if you roll the window down. Thanks for your help!
Glad it was helpful and yeah, our tech never bothers to roll down the window 😒. Yes, we wish everyone would put the plug on the mirror. Thank you for watching!
That was very helpful and saved me a ton of $$$. Can you upload one how to change the fendor 2010 Nissan Pathfinder or guide me to one if someone has already done it. Thanks
Hey Tyler, you're absolutely right. Frontier hasn't really changed their side view mirror from 2005-2019 so the 2018 is the same as this here and you can use this video to replace it yourself. If you need the mirror visit us at revemoto.com to get the part. Thanks for watching!
Hello. If you can remove the panel enough to reach the cable you should be fine. The window crank has a bolt in the middle or you can pop it off, and that shouldn't be too hard. Its been awhile since we worked with a window crank. Good luck and please sub!
Hi my navara side view mirror is cracked but the shell isn’t so I’m looking to replace just the glass pane with a frontier one. My question is are they the same because my mechanic told me they aren’t
That's a great question. Correct me if I am wrong but the Navara is just the 2020 Frontier. That side view mirror ranges from 05-21 model range, for the Nismo. If you chat with our staff online, they could help you out with your VIN. Just let them know the Navara is the Frontier, they may get confused. Generally speaking, the glass isn't usually too much. Thanks for watching!
Hi I want to replace my mirror but the replacements are black and won't match the color of my truck. Is there a way to keep the original colored housing and replace the plastic base only?
Hmmm that’s an interesting questions. Like everything works but the mirror just doesn’t go far out? Or is it the length that the actual mirror is coming out. Like maybe you need to upgrade to tow mirrros
@@kavinmiller-t2v if it never did that before thank your motor or something is making it stuck. Check for any debris behind the mirror. If you know how to take the mirror off safely then that would be great. If no debri I probably just need a new mirror. Go to www.ReveMoto.com
Hello! Yeah, I can see why mechanics don't like engineering because they could of made things a lot easier than it was. I guess some car manufactures want you going to the dealerships. Thank you for watching!
One of the best how-to videos I’ve used. Great job RevMoto!
Wow, thanks!
Very nice job man... I'll replace mine when I get time and I'll buy it from ReveMoto. Thanks for the great video - very good demo and explanation.

I just unbolted the mirror, cut the wires and butt spliced the wires together. Took ten minutes and saved a bunch of time/disassembly.
Hello! That is definitely one way to do it. Thank you for sharing.
Perfect video to change out Pass side mirror on my 2005 Frontier truck. I appreciate you!

Just did this on a third gen Pathfinder, steps were basically identical
Love to hear it! How long did it take you?
@@ReveMoto Not long at all! I followed your steps directly, and it took me like 20 minutes. Thank you for the help!
Nice! I’ve just broken my mirror this evening

Can the glass only be replaced ed
Crazy how an 2018 frointer looks just like this one

Great video. Solved my problem - thanks !
Glad it helped!
Thank you I was like bro how am I gonna plug this in. Then I was looking to see how to get the panel off but couldn't figure it out
You're welcome! Taking off the panel is a bit annoying but necessary with some vehicles.
wow..so detail and so helpful .
Glad it was helpful!
I cant find any videos on it, do you think this would be a similar process for a 2022 frontier?
Mine has the manual window panel and won’t allow me to take the whole door side off . Is this necessary for my verisom
Hello. If you can remove the panel enough to reach the cable you should be fine. The window crank has a bolt in the middle or you can pop it off, and that shouldn't be too hard. Its been awhile since we worked with a window crank. Good luck and please sub!
Me gustaría remplazar solo el vidrio no todo el sistema habrá algo en q no desarme toda la puerta

Thanks! much help
You bet!
So I got a question. After I installed tow mirrors on my frontier, the window has had a hard time rolling down
Oh that is interesting only thing I can think of is the wires either hitting the rails.
Hi I want to replace my mirror but the replacements are black and won't match the color of my truck. Is there a way to keep the original colored housing and replace the plastic base only?
I am not sure.
Is it the same for the passenger side ?
Hello and yes, it should be the same just mirrored. Please subscribe if you haven't, it really helps us a lot, take care!
If my mirrors are manual, do i meed to remove the door panel for the wire or can i skip that part ?
Yeah you and skip that part. The back cover is the only thing that needs removing and three screws behind mirror. Go to www.ReveMoto.com
I have a 2006 Frontier XE with manual mirrors. Do you know if the truck is pre wired for power mirrors?
I am not sure for the Frontier, but with experience from other vehicles. They don’t usually come pre wired. If you need parts go to www.ReveMoto.com
Good vid, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Is this the same for a pathfinder?
Yes it is
What do you need to do to adjust the mirror, it wont go out far enough
Hmmm that’s an interesting questions. Like everything works but the mirror just doesn’t go far out? Or is it the length that the actual mirror is coming out. Like maybe you need to upgrade to tow mirrros
it just wont go far enough to the left (driver side mirror)

I swear they make terrible designs on purpose. I don't know why they didn't just put the electrical connection under the first panel
