Anyone else realize that Future Lewis most likely woke up in that cold sweat to build the time machines because of the events that happened in this movie? Too farfetched, you say? Consider: He remembered what he'd done to Goob, and was planning on going back in time to fix it, because he felt guilty. Only Goob beat him to it.
I was surprised to hear that people hate this movie. I think it’s pretty great. I’ll admit it does have a weak story, but I love the way it deals with Family. No one really talks about it that much. And some of the people who do talk about it usually say it was a bad movie. I personally don’t think it is. It’s very entertaining and funny overall. The dinosaur scene I still think is really cool. I also thought the ending was pretty emotional. It definitely is a great movie. I loved it as a kid and I love it now. It’s weird that ppl hate it. But then again, I feel like most Disney movies r pretty high quality and ppl find the most ridiculous of reasons to shit on or hate them. Even the company itself does it. OMG one of my fav movies. Sad it doesn't really have that much traction in the commentary community. Was about to watch a movie, but this takes precedence. I'm adopted, and i know it was because my birth mom wanted the best for me and she knew that it wasn't her.

She was happy with how big I've grown (adoptive parents fed me well), she was happy for the opportunities that my adoptive parents could provide me. Before I met her, I always felt angry and sad, thinking why would she "throw" me away, when I saw that she cried when we parted, I finally understood that, that was never the case.
Fun fact: This was the first Disney animated film under the studio's current name (Walt Disney Animation Studios) as well as the first one to have the current opening logo. As for the movie itself, It was never one of my favorites from Disney but the one thing I love about it is how they paid tribute to Walt Disney himself by using one of his quotes as the film's message.

The Hendersons interviewed Lewis because Lewis resembled them physically even though their interests would have led them to Michael. After Michael loses the game, the Hendersons do interview him, but Goob has taken over, and polluted Michael's personality.

It is my firm belief that, just as Wilbur (Jimmy #2) disappeared when Bowler Hat Guy and Doris fled into the past with the (repaired) memory scanner, so Bowler Hat Guy disappeared when Lewis (Jimmy #1) woke up Goob at the baseball game. And then happy, adopted Goob grew up to become the owner of Playtime Planet, the unicorn-themed restaurant where Bowler Hat Guy and Doris plotted their revenge. Since Lewis could exist in the same time and place as his future self, so dark-timeline adult Goob could exist at the same time and place as best-timeline adult Goob.

Man, this movie takes me back to my childhood. I used to watch this movie all the time. And yes I agree this movie is so underrated. And I remember that the soundtrack for this movie in my opinion was amazing. Rob Thomas(solo artist & singer for Matchbox 20), the Jonás Brothers, The All American Rejects, & other artists have contributed to the soundtrack for the film and Danny Elfman composed the score. Man I loved this movie.
What's funnier to me is that there is an actual grocery store called Robinson's and its logo is red & white, so your joke about how their house looks like a Target is perfection.

What's funnier to me is that there is an actual grocery store called Robinson's and its logo is red & white, so your joke about how their house looks like a Target is perfection.

Honestly as this is one of my favorite Disney movies, Doris is also one of my favorite Disney villains and female villains lol 🎩 she's so evil, causes the most amount of damage, high kill count off screen, slavery, and intelligent... while never saying a single word and only expressing in the noises/eye
