    My parents had their honeymoon in Torquay. My hometown Trim was were London and York scenes were filmed in the film Braveheart. Love taking steam train in Isle of Man.

    Interesting following your journey, my boat is smaller and trailed but I often launch in the Solent, Torquay and Mylor 😊

      Are yes one of the big advantages of having a trailered yacht. You can drive to the best locations and then enjoy the sailing ⛵️ let’s hope this year we get a few less storms and a few more force 4s

      @@asailingmuggle and it costs nothing to store on the trailer at home when not in use.
      I had a mooring for 30 years but not having that expense is nice 🙂

      Good point we are currently running at £8000 PA which I will be very glad to reduce when we finally cruse full time

      I'm tight in my old age, in Mylor I usually launch and park for free 🤦‍♂️
