- Getting high-paying real estate photography gigs can make you more money in less time, but many photographers approach this incorrectly and eventually give up, settling for less. But if you approach this right then you can get better paying jobs. That's what this episode is all about. Below are links mentioned in the video and other info as well:

"Don't compete for price, compete on quality" ... best thing learnt! Really love your presentations, whether it's a new technique of photography or any though of business. Salute ...
Thanks alot!! I'm happy that you give an actual way of finding clients, not just some motivational stuffs we heard a billion times. I'll give it a shot
Thank you, Nathan. This is just what I needed to hear especially the "don't race to the bottom". There are so many "dirt cheap" offers to be seen on Craigslist, Facebook, Instagram that offer $99 same day with drone footage in this area (Central Florida) that it can be rather disheartening to hang a shingle to just join the fray for the bottom. I've been fortunate enough to shoot million dollar homes thanks to the excellent custom homebuilder I work for and really am looking forward to exploring that market one of these days. Again - thank you for everything you share out here on RUclips, I have learned so much from you.
Man this was fantastic! I’ve never seen anyone actually provide a method. This was definitely encouraging as I’m looking to make my pivot into luxury real estate; I may or may not have done some of those incorrect methods you mentioned 😅
Practice may not lead to perfection, but it without a doubt makes progress...
Another very interesting and motivating video ! Thank you Nathan!
My pleasure! Thank you Bart.
Nathan, thank you for another great video. Online I looked into an ad that said to make six figures with real estate photography. The person I texed with said to shoot and edit 4 homes with a 24-hour turnaround. I called them out, I can shoot 4 properties in one day but no way to edit with a 24-hour turnaround. I told that person they were full of crap. That's when I found out about outsourcing. I will never outsource any of my photography work.
I still can't believe your youtube videos are free. Thank you for your generosity. This is really motivating
You're so welcome! Glad you liked this one.
This video totally changed my perspective on real estate photography. I'm definately going to make some big changes to my overall strategy. Thanks for the amazing content. Going to watch more of your videos now!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video, just what I needed at this stage, thanks Nathan!
Thank you! I do my own editing and was starting to feel like I’m spending too much time on that but this video makes me feel like that’s ok.
Thank you Nathan. Great information in this presentation.
Thank you!
Thanks a lot Nathan
You're the best 🙂🙏🔥
Hi Nathan, thank you so much for your videos and for all you do. I am new to real estate photography. I bought my equipment probably a month ago along with your books and I have been watching your videos and also practicing the flambient technique shooting my home. It is been a real challenge but, your technique is what I want to learn, so I am grateful to have found you. Do you have a mentorship program? I am asking because I have been asking people I know what they think of the photos I take and unfortunately they all have different opinions, too bright, too fake, etc... I just wanted to have a professional opinion, so I can feel I am following the right path. Thanks again.
You're very welcome. I do offer private, remote photography coaching via Zoom, you can email me for pricing and availability: Nathan@NathanCoolPhoto.com
Great video. What are some other types of clients that would generally pay more for shoots? Eg. Interior Designers, Builders, Architects...anyone else I'm missing??
Any business that wants to showcase their work and/or permanent property...the list is nearly endless. Any business (restaurants even) or hotels, or retirement villages/homes, office spaces, companies for their websites, you name it. Creative directors marketing companies will seek you out if your work shows you can do what they're looking for.
Can you do a wet driveway look in photoshop tutorial?
Hi Lounny, that's off topic for this video but I did a tutorial a couple years ago, here's the link: ruclips.net/video/dpfIoUlk3fg/видео.html
Hi Nathan, I've had problems getting the email addresses of the agents. How are you finding the emails?
If you do the research I showed in the video then you can easily find anyone agent's email address, if not there, then just look them up. But if you are out to do bulk emails then that's a different story and, like I said in the video, not something I recommend.
Every 4+ million dollar property here appears to be shot with HDR by a midrange "photo mill" company (I believe I know the vendors). Do you guys think this is an opportunity, or that maybe local agents don't consider higher end photos worth it?
Any time you can show you are better than a client's current vendor is an opportunity to gain a new client.
Thank you!
