These photos look amazing. Also, the color grading for your videos is epic as well. I wish you could make a tutorial how to get the color grading like your videos.
Hakimi Hamizi not all presets work for every single environment. its best to learn how to actually adjust it yourself instead of relying on a premade action.
Disposable cameras give me nostalgia for family vacations from my childhood. My first experience with photography was shooting disposable cameras on these road trips. I didn't rediscover film again until graduate school. Cool video as always George!
a lot depends on scanning ! i have epson scanner at home and photos don't look that great. you need to make sure you have photos scanned professionally (or get a really expensive scanner).
I love disposables that vintage look is so appealing. First time I tried using one properly was last year and I fucked up so hard with each shot because of my thumb?! your not alone my friend.
uuuuuu.. interesting.. I started using a disposable camera a couple of months ago and still haven't develop the film. Kinda afraid of how it would turn out and since a vintage camera still to expensive for me and the good ones is usually hard to find. After watching this, definitely will develop the film. Such an inspiration. keep up the good work George..
Anugrah Ramadhan if you're looking for some inexpensive SLRs, try looking for some AE1s and basic Minolta models on Etsy and EBay. Def some steals out there
This video shows you don't need a 2k+ camera for some good photo's. Maybe you should look at a Nikon L35AF / olympus mju for parties and such. super sharp lens and you can find those in thrifshops for less than 5 pounds.
Love that during the shooting I was thinking "I can't wait until we get George in his room telling me what he thinks!" Really enjoying the format of these videos ✌🏽
Hey I've noticed you color-grade your in a very particular way. So, when you show the photo you take, is the photo on the video neutral or is it affected by your video color grading? Cool videos!! Thanks for sharing!!
In my opinion, you are one of the best photography channels on youtube. I love the vibe of your videos. If you ever start selling mech, you have at least one buyer here.
I've never really been interested in photography that included just buildings and architecture, but your pictures have definitely changed my mind. You have an incredible eye for composition, love seeing all the work you're doing :-)
This video shows that at the end of the day creativity is the most important tool to take good pictures. Love this channel's content, I'm actually thinking about trying this experiment myself now :)
Ive always liked how disposable camera photos looked and these looked beautiful ! I want to start creating some artwork with a disposable camera or mabe just photographing some memories in general.
I am beyond ecstatic that I found your channel through RUclips's ''On The Rise'' feature. Dare I say RUclips did a great thing introducing that update, it's a great initiative and I'm also happy for you (even though I barely know you). I will be coming back to this channel whenever I need inspiration for aesthetic things.
Loving your content! I agree with most of the points you mentioned from what I could see in your photos as well as from my personal experience which mostly constists of festival snaps (which these disposable cameras are GREAT for!). Thankks George, keep up the good work! Maybe if you don't find it boring you could do a basics series, I imagine it yould be quite interesting for you to try to explain things in an easy way as well as bringing beginners to you channel and making them love photography as much as you do!
I would like to see more variations - not only buildings/streets but also some more portraits taken from different lengths and different lighting conditions and details. Overall, I love disposables for festivals, because they are light and still have the great analogue feel.
i was on holiday in the US for a month, just travelling around, when my phone was - naturally - crushed in the electric reclining mechanism of a cinema seat, so all of the photos from the back half of my holiday were shot on disposable cameras i'd taken one of the nice ilford disposables with me, so i have some really nice shots off of that, but the even some of the tourist stand cameras gave me a few nice pictures. it's definitely possible to get nice shots with em
ok this has me very excited abt the disposable camera i bought a few days ago! havent got a chance to use it yet but now i cant wait. these are lovely lovely lovely!
I actually went to Parallax before Christmas and bought a few of those cameras, they're cheap and a great gift for your photographer friends :) They're fun.
perspective everything is perspective. no matter the quality of your supplies, if you have passion and strong feeling for your art it will turn out beautiful
Is there any editing you do on the images you take once you've scanned them in. All your images you show seem to be a very similar style/colour grading? thanks
NegativeFeedback Im assuming the lab knows what you like and scans a certain way? I feel like my raw scans never have the pastel tones I see in your videos, even when shooting with Portra sometimes.
Most of the labs scans and edit by themselves. You have to ask em about it. If you want it unedited, you have to mention it when you give em your rolls. This is my experience in three french labs, hope it can help :) Cheers :)
I love that you kept the 'glove thumb' photos in. Actually, I like one of those the best. It seems to tell more of a story. I'm loving the channel BTW. Catching up on all the videos now :)
I adore how you edit in the photos you take, I can't wait to see how the shot came out! This camera does have noise but I like that as an effect in the pics! It certainly does the job either way. I like the idea of returning to film since digital photos are just swept away living on the computer. I miss albums of printed photos. (I know you can just print all the digital) but just having the film developed makes it automatic, know what I mean?
I watched this only after buying and using a disposible, but I still have to get my pictures! I have my hopes up right now because it was the same camera but only with Dutch descriptions
Disposables work best when shooting from a close proximity in my experience. Get up close to some passers by on a busy street and I reckon the results will improve a whole lot (the reflection shot was pretty good by the way).
i actually like that first accidental photo
Nic IKR!
that is surprisingly good for a disposable film camera.
Yeah, it makes me wonder why I have an EOS 3
Amieretc what is her name (camera)? 😁
Erno let me search it up real quick okay
Amieretc did you figured out which camera is it?
Lan Corr they dont have a name they're just called fujicolor iso 1600 exp 39 disposable cameras and its from Japan (by fujifilm)
These photos look amazing. Also, the color grading for your videos is epic as well. I wish you could make a tutorial how to get the color grading like your videos.
Just import ur video to the lightroom... and select the preset and add it in to the video.
Hakimi Hamizi not all presets work for every single environment. its best to learn how to actually adjust it yourself instead of relying on a premade action.
Yeah. totally agree with you. So that we can come out with our own style of video.
No they dont.
‹Neoka28› you're a troll.
Disposable cameras give me nostalgia for family vacations from my childhood. My first experience with photography was shooting disposable cameras on these road trips. I didn't rediscover film again until graduate school. Cool video as always George!
this makes me really want to buy disposable cameras..
a lot depends on scanning ! i have epson scanner at home and photos don't look that great. you need to make sure you have photos scanned professionally (or get a really expensive scanner).
Nah seriously though, it's pretty amazing what such a small, simple camera can do!
i think you mean its pretty amazing what a good photographer can do with such a simple camera.
What he can do u fuck
Disposable cameras is the reason why I got into film photography. Thanks, George, for another interesting video.
This was nice. Now I miss having to swipe that little wheel that rolls the film after every picture
all film cameras have a film wind lever
ThisIsRyan no they don't, especially the more modern ones
hi! did u swipe it until it cant be swipe anymore? or is there any appropriate amount of swiping it? im a little bit confused here. thank you☺️
@@travernitasavitri6671until it can't be swiped anymore)
I’ve been shooting my Olympus xa2 a lot recently, and it has that wheel and it’s so satisfying 😊
just found channel, where have you been all my life

Gotta love a disposable every now and then ;)
Wooww Pablo on here!!
Really enjoyed your video on it!
Glad you liked it! :)
Pablo Strong wow my favourite RUclipsr commented on another favourite youtuber.
you guys defo have to record smth together
That camera quality is so beautiful
It because he so skilled
Sometimes makes me mad how good this guy is even with the shittiest cameras
Elizabeth Gao that's because it's never about the camera :)
disposable cameras aren´t shitty don´t @ me
What?? You can’t be serious..
It called skill
uuuuuu.. interesting.. I started using a disposable camera a couple of months ago and still haven't develop the film. Thank you!
Anugrah Ramadhan if you're looking for some inexpensive SLRs, try looking for some AE1s and basic Minolta models on Etsy and EBay. Def some steals out there
oh wow, thanks for the heads up :D
You can get old SLR on ebay for literally less then price of on roll of film.
ntap sob.. tebak gue sapa
This video shows you don't need a 2k+ camera for some good photo's. Maybe you should look at a Nikon L35AF / olympus mju for parties and such. super sharp lens and you can find those in thrifshops for less than 5 pounds.
RF BRCK hey, this might be a dumb question but I'm really unfamiliar on the topic...how do you know what film to buy?
homemade lemonade Look up the camera and the film type of it should come up.
5pounds? more like quadruple on ebay hmm, what thrift shops, uk?
it's nice to read this in 2020, where a mju II in not-so-great conditions, goes for 200+ € on eBay
The photos aren't effected from the grading, they're straight from the lab!
Thanks for asking this question. I was wondering that as well. Btw, excellent color grading, mate!
NegativeFeedback so you color grade your video after taking pictures?
the colours in these shots are so nice!
they look so amazing. im literally going to buy a disposable camera, im inspired
I love disposable camera quality so much there's something about the grain and darkness ugh I love it
In my opinion, you are one of the best photography channels on youtube. I love the vibe of your videos. If you ever start selling mech, you have at least one buyer here.
I've never really been interested in photography that included just buildings and architecture, but your pictures have definitely changed my mind. You have an incredible eye for composition, love seeing all the work you're doing :-)
I bought a disposable camera for my trip this past weekend because of this video. Thanks for the inspo!!
Love the consistency of the photos, colour-wise they fit a theme really well
This video shows that at the end of the day creativity is the most important tool to take good pictures. Love this channel's content, I'm actually thinking about trying this experiment myself now :)
Always loved how fuji renders color!
Disposable camera itself is not that fancy but you guys make it fancier. Love your work.
i love the kind of vintage look disposable cameras give to photos
Everything just looks good on film. 💙
the color grading of these camera's pictures are so nostalgic for some reason.
Ngl you look like Sid from toy story with your hair growing like that
That's exactly the look i'm going for. Next video will be a tour of my scary toy collection
NegativeFeedback love your videos my channel is inspired by your videos
plus hes cute tho :3
man i love these pictures, especially the graininess! it gives it such a nice dreamy quality!
Ive always liked how disposable camera photos looked and these looked beautiful ! I want to start creating some artwork with a disposable camera or mabe just photographing some memories in general.
these videos are so therapeutic and relaxing. Very informative too.
I'm actually in love with the rustic quality
The song is called Lighthouse by Patrick Watson. There is also a rendition called Grey by FS&HG.
I love the tone of this video
I am beyond ecstatic that I found your channel through RUclips's ''On The Rise'' feature.
Dare I say RUclips did a great thing introducing that update, it's a great initiative and I'm also happy for you (even though I barely know you).

i love the way the camera makes the pictures look!
Your talent never disappoints
I love the pic with the Ecuadorian flag at 2:38
yeah me too
Those shots sure aren't disposable ;) HA GET IT
Tim Palman no
Loving your content!
I agree with most of the points you mentioned from what I could see in your photos as well as from my personal experience which mostly constists of festival snaps (which these disposable cameras are GREAT for!).
Thankks George, keep up the good work!

inspired me to go out and buy a disposable camera. thank you.
your videos are so soothing but in such a fun way, I feel like i'm tagging along on your adventures
I would like to see more variations - not only buildings/streets but also some more portraits taken from different lengths and different lighting conditions and details. Overall, I love disposables for festivals, because they are light and still have the great analogue feel.
I'm glad if you could make reviews on Holga, DianaF+ and Ultra Wide Slim.
Just stumbled across your channel by complete accident and immediately subbed. This is such a cool concept and this video has been edited beautifully
Man you brought back so many memories using those disposable cameras Thank you you have a new subscriber.
i was on holiday in the US for a month, just travelling around, when my phone was - naturally - crushed in the electric reclining mechanism of a cinema seat, so all of the photos from the back half of my holiday were shot on disposable cameras

Literally the vibiest man of all time. look at that apartment. SUBSCRIBED!!
ok this has me very excited abt the disposable camera i bought a few days ago! havent got a chance to use it yet but now i cant wait. these are lovely lovely lovely!
I actually went to Parallax before Christmas and bought a few of those cameras, they're cheap and a great gift for your photographer friends :) They're fun.
Thank you for the binge worthy videos ❤️
Very interesting to watch how the images turned out. Lovely channel. Keep up the nice work!
recently found your channel and i plan to watch all of your videos within this week
NegativeFeedback deserves more subscribers
Can't wait to see more stuff like this
I love a lot of these photos so much! The colors are quite nice
haaaaa "Holiday Inmate" & 3:23
As any photographer says, the beauty isn't captured by the equipment but by the capture's eye
i just love a good minimalistic video, with good content
perspective everything is perspective. no matter the quality of your supplies, if you have passion and strong feeling for your art it will turn out beautiful
BEAUTY IS EVERYWHERE SLOW DOWN AND LOOK CLOSELY YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED
Amazing, you're so chilled!
Is there any editing you do on the images you take once you've scanned them in. All your images you show seem to be a very similar style/colour grading? thanks
Not for the pics on the channel, I grade photos for my site but leave them straight for the videos to give a clear view of what to expect
NegativeFeedback Im assuming the lab knows what you like and scans a certain way? I feel like my raw scans never have the pastel tones I see in your videos, even when shooting with Portra sometimes.
Victor Greene yes this is exactly what I was thinking, the kind of pastel tone faded look? Just wondering how this was achieved!
Most of the labs scans and edit by themselves. You have to ask em about it. If you want it unedited, you have to mention it when you give em your rolls.
This is my experience in three french labs, hope it can help :)
Cheers :)
I'm wondering if this is the result of the overall video grading?
Loving the pictures.
You're so talented! I guess it's the sign of a good photographer but you seem to spot beauty in the most simple places. I'm subscribed!
these photos look so good for a disposable
these photos are wonderful
I love that you kept the 'glove thumb' photos in. Actually, I like one of those the best. It seems to tell more of a story. I'm loving the channel BTW. Catching up on all the videos now :)
Surprised at how good some of these looked.
tbh i really loved the feel of this video and i loved the images from the camera, good work!
just found ur videos and i love them! the color grading and overall aesthetic is beautiful.
your videos get better every week
NEVER MISS OUR GREAT VIDEOS FROM SPAIN!!
you should try the ilford 400 disposable one. the quality of the lens is not to bad. and it black n white
😀
I am getting back into older cameras, this video made me happy with my decision.
I wanna take photos in London now. The street scene seems so vibrant.
Ah your vids are just what I'm looking for 👌🏼 cheers for being so genuine!
Trying not to stay up all night binge watching
okay lowkey inlove with them tonesss
you know if they made it look like a pro camera I would buy it
film cameras..
I really liked the colors.
The new music was quiet confusing hahaha so used to the other tracks.
I love the Grain and the Colours.
Can't wait for the next video.
Cheers!
love the colour grading in this video!
I adore how you edit in the photos you take, I can't wait to see how the shot came out! This camera does have noise but I like that as an effect in the pics! It certainly does the job either way. awesome vid and great idea: disposable cams from time to time are quite fun :)!
Seeing that u guys uploaded a video today totally make my day, greetings from Chile :)
Those pictures were better than some of the ones on my iPhone! Damn, I need one of those
You guys should try 110 format
You guys should make a video on making zines, making a book, or publishing in general.
I watched this only after buying and using a disposible, but I still have to get my pictures! I have my hopes up right now because it was the same camera but only with Dutch descriptions
First video for me on this channel, love it already!
ive recently found this channel and i love it so much, makes me want to be a photographer
Disposables work best when shooting from a close proximity in my experience. Get up close to some passers by on a busy street and I reckon the results will improve a whole lot (the reflection shot was pretty good by the way).
Lovely colors, really like it :)
wow this was really inspiring. I've thought about using a disposable camera but never got motivated to. I'll start to try them out now lol
Awesome video! Where'd you find the instrumentals to the FS&HG songs?
yes thank you I have been looking for something on disposable cameras because I've been wanting to shoot with one
Think this is the best ep. Cheers!
dont know if they were edited but either way i love the colours off that
It's almost 3 a.m, I can't sleep and this video made me cry.
