An interesting approach which unfortunately went off the rails with technical information.
You started off correctly saying that the motors were controlled by camshaft controllers, but to then go on and describe the motors themselves as ‘Camshaft Motors’ is quite erroneous. All of these trains have series wound motors and could readily be controlled by anything including suitable electronic control gear, not just camshafts.
Wikipedia or other sources should have information on motor types in the style of ‘Metropolitan Vickers MV 123’ (just guessing those numbers) or ‘Mitsubishi XX687’
As for F1, it does not have a camshaft at all. There is a row of electro-pneumatic contactors which close one by one, the Acceleration Relay deciding when the next contactor should be closed based on current diminishing with speed increasing. Cams similarly advance under the control of the Acceleration Relay.
If you have been misled somewhere by Wikipedia information, that is not unusual. Anybody can put anything on Wikipedia and it is liable to stay there until somebody else changes it, hopefully correctly.
As for this video, as it can stay on RUclips forever, maybe it would be worth doing a corrected version and then phase out this one.
But don’t be put off. If you are unsure of facts for future videos, try asking around first.
It seems like you have an appreciation for motor sounds, like just a few of us railfans, so you may enjoy this preview of a future publication of mine.

Yes thank you for the correction. I did not have enough time to ask people for information and research which led to the technical information going off the rails. Maybe next time I should ask more people before making any misinformation. And yes Wikipedia doesn’t provide the correct information on what equipment any of these trains. I might have to re create this video if I have the time to provide the proper given information I have now

@@sydneytransportfilms8444 I have also made the occasional mistake from rushing and not checking. Easiest to do when something is topical but will go stale quickly. If you have HET connections, like Ali and myself, especially older ones there may have the info in books or whatever. The last thing you want is a reputation for videos full of false information. You can’t change videos once they are posted. I don’t mind you asking me if stuck or unsure about something. Maybe I will know the answer or where to find it out.
