Thank you for your reply. Only been following you for couple months but have gone back & watched some of your older videos . Amazing how we can connect across the world now. Have had a couple of visits to England & Scotland & absolutely loved it. So love your wandering around your garden etc. as we live in a tropical city, but my favorite is English country type gardens. I’m planning to make your no churn ice cream for Christmas. I can buy my supplies here in Mackay which is a fairly large town or online.Major craft shows etc only seem to happen in Capital cities which is 1000 klm or 700 miles away so have only been down to one years ago. I have only retired 2 years ago so have just got back into my sewing lately & am loving the freedom of slow stitching.
@@denisemacdonald1329 I absolutely agree! I never had any desire to be on social media. Never joined Facebook etc... my first little 2 mins video was so someone else could see it. I didn't realise other people would be able to see it too. So my channel sort of happened by accident. It's been a marvel... It amazes me that I write to people all over the world now! I enjoyed the trip to the show. It's always inspiring to see the beautiful projects and products. It really opens your eyes and mind to what is available, what is possible. Your embroidered linen is gorgeous. And those glass buttons were fabulous. Great choices.all round. Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed watching the video, Harrogate looks like an amazing Knitting and Stitching show, Your purchases are lovely, I'm looking forward to seeing all the wonderful things you make. I have attended several quilt shows over the years, it is so easy to spend more than you plan. I was so thrilled to see you bought the sewing room sampler. Thank you for including the links.
Glad we got to go along with you. It was fantastic to see all of it and the building was fabulous! Love the things you bought and looking forward to your projects.
Thank you for filming the show, it was lovely to see the incredible creations there. I also buy fabric and thread whether I need it or not, it's all about inspiration and we all need plenty of stitching projects nearby!
Hi Marion, Pauline here from Mollymook Beach Australia xxx It's Wed.,17th July & I have been sitting watching vids all day, as I'm feeling 'off today ( not firing on all cylinders), happening a lot lately. So just watching whatever pops up & your 2023 trip to Harrogate Knitting & Stitching Show was one of them xx I enjoyed it all over again xxx I also watched Helen from Mousie makes, she's lovely like you, & she said she doesn't live far from you, I made a comment to her saying if I lived near you, I would knock on your door & say I was lost & in need of a cup of tea 😂🤣😂😂😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😍 And that would be the start of our beautiful friendship 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Lucky for you I live in OZ 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hello Marion, I just watched this again. I enjoyed it so much and marvel at what a cool lady you are. Hope you have great pleasure in all of your projects and never feel overwhelmed.
Thanks Ann. Sometimes it takes me a while to get around to the projects... However I made the skirt with the lovely embroidered linen just a month or so ago ☺️ I've been enjoying wearing it..
Thanks for the really interesting video. I agree with the others, it’s really nice to hear the hubbub of happy stitch show visitors! I went to the Alexandra Palace version this year, which is always fun, and I loved Sabine’s work. But Harrogate looks like a gorgeous venue so it’s going on my crafty bucket list 😍. Thank you Marion! X
I am so grateful to you for taking me to an amazing sewing show. There is a lot less opportunity for this in Canada where I live. It would be impossible not to over spend. What a treat though!
Glad that you had a lovely day at the show and it's even better when you can take along like-minded souls to! I look forward to seeing you start on you boro inspired coat maybe in the New Year. Best wishes as always.
You're in for a treat then Diana. I was just given a ticket to the Christmas show that is at Harrogate on Thursday this week! How wonderful is that?! Of course, I'll film my visit for you all.....
Can you see the envy in my eyes. I'm in Australia and wish we had some of this near where I live. No luck so far. Do like your embroidered linen and the wonderful threads. I tend to buy mine on line. I feel that I was there with you. Thank you so much for filming your trip through the aisles.
Thank you so much for bringing us along! You did a wonderful job with the interviews. Loved your fabric haul. Wish I was there. Loved that tea pot as well.
Thanks for that Penny. I'm happy you enjoyed going along with me! The teapot was originally the one my husband used for his Chinese tea. However, I now use it every day as my main pot. It has a strainer inside for the loose leaf tea.
Wonderful video, my friend and her daughter went this year as they won tickets. I used to live in Harrogate and went every year. I am looking forward to visiting her and we share our finds like you have done. Thank you again, I am saving to go next year xxx
Thank you again Marion! I watched this video about your trip to Harrogate before but it’s fun to watch again! I must be missing the trips to the sweet shows that I used to go to with my sewing friends in California! Seeing the sewing room sampler that you bought made me also think that with your art skills you could easily do up a stitching pattern from a drawing that you make yourself…perhaps one of your lovely garden, your craft room, or your dining room with the beautiful cabinet! Your colors are so beautiful that they would make wonderful stitchery! Perhaps your lounge or sitting room and your dollhouse!! The other thing that I have been meaning to say to you is that if you become an Amazon affiliate, not only would we know what to buy and be able to purchase some things but you could also have a small income from that too! That sounds like a win-win, yes? (I know that it’s easy for me to say but have you do! But I would love to help if I could live in England again!) 🙃💕Donna
When you get settled into your new area you'll have to look around for new places to go. That will be exciting.. especially if you've managed to make some new friends by then. There's bound to be sewing people around. At the time I bought that sampler I kept saying I could just draw something myself..but it was so sweet....☺️ I've been trying to source a company to print a design on ready for the new year but so far haven't found fabric I think is suitable. I keep ending up back at square 1 with it I'm afraid. As for being an associate.. I could have done that as soon as I reached 1000 subscribers... It would be easy to do it as it takes hardly any work by me... But... I don't want to be encouraging people to buy things when I'm all about thrifting and making do etc. I get offered stuff to promote all the time but have turned them all down so far. Things like desks and chairs and printers, even shoes and sewing machines. I don't need them and I don't want to be encouraging anyone else to think they need them too. I'm considering things like online learning.. because my whole channel is about learning skills and getting better at things. It's why I've resisted till now having the ads on the videos. I've tried not to have them. And if in the future I can afford not to have them again.. I'll stop having them. It's been a difficult choice to make but I have to accept that although I live in Marion's World..I live in the real world too and need to pay bills like everyone else. I think that's all I can say about it really...🌸🌿🌸🌿🌸🌿
Glad you enjoyed the show Marion. You seemed to have timed it right and not got crushed in the crowds as we did I saw the kimono, wasn't it gorgeous, and I thought the goldwork on the RSN stand was just amazing. I had gone hoping to buy loads of hand dyed silk threads and ribbons, but was disappointed too at the choice. My best bargain was from the Cone Exchange, I got a huge fabric sample book of lovely sofa fabrics for £4, would have bought more but it was so heavy to carry back to the car 🤣 Love the fabrics you bought, can't wait to see their transformation.
Yes, some of the stallholders were telling us how packed it had been on Thursday. They said it was overwhelming at times from their point of view. I too had been hoping to buy ribbons and mayve silks too, and those different types of textural threads. The people who weren't there were Stef Francis and Oliver Twists. They are both online if that's any help. I've already ordered something. It's just I like to buy in person where possible and had waited for the show.
Yeah I've bought some things from Stef Francis online thanks, but it's not the same as being able to pick it up and touch it is it and see the colours for yourself? But that's the way of the world now. @@marionsworld24
Thank you Marion for taking us on such a lovely day out with you, love the atmosphere and the old building beautiful. It was inspiring having a peek at some of the stalls , love all your buys , what a fun day out and about. ❤
I LOVE Mandy! Her work is incredible, in my opinion. I hope she starts offering online classes. Since i’m in the U.S., there’s no way i’ll ever be able to take an in person class from her. Although, i’d really like to! Thanks for taking us along to the show! What a fabulous day!
Thank you so much Marion what an absolute treat....here in Western Australia shows like this are very few so I really loved coming along with you....your joy at being there was so lovely....we are all in for exciting creative times I can tell....🌼🌻🌼
Thank you for watching.. all the way from Australia too.... There's not a huge amount of this thing over here. The London show and the Harrogate one are definite highlights. There are increasing amounts of fibre and yarn shows, which is brilliant. I missed the one I normally go to as I was away on my trip to Scotland over the same weekend. I'll get there next time I'm sure...
OOh wow, what a great day you had. Love that jeans bag would so love if you could make another to show us how especially how to put that zip section in
Your gonna have to live to 100😮to finish with those fabrics😅great place for a show, overload of stuff there, I got worn out just watching. Love your fire place mantel. Lovely fabrics...good 🤞 luck
Hello from Las Vegas! I had the wonderful pleasure of visiting Harrogate in 1974 at age of 21. Thank you for sharing your day at the knitting and stitching show.😊
My goodness! Hello back at you from the North East of England! Harrogate is really beautiful and has probably changed a bit in the intervening almost 50 years....
Thank you for taking us to Harrogate! What a beautiful building ! And also into your dining room !😊. I feel as if your home is like a magnificent treasure chest , filled to the brim with the most wonderful and beautiful things 💕 I especially love to see your storage 😂( the picnic hamper , the cutlery canteen, so much more interesting than my tins !! ) and your garden ( a world away from my paving and artificial grass!😂) X
I'm happy you enjoyed your visit with me Yvonne! And thank you for your compliment of my dining room. I do have a bit of a quirky house. There's all sorts of old stuff that's been repurposed or 'done up', in fact every single thing in my dining room is second hand! It's quite colourful too.
Was lovely to visit Harrogate with you Marion, so many beautiful and inspiring things to see. Loved seeing Mandy Pattullo's beautiful creations. You came home with some lovely treasures, enjoy!🧵💖
What a treat, seeing your video of Harrogate. I've never seen such a trade show and would have been in my glory. So thank you, Marion for taking us along.
Thank you so much for bringing us along! I enjoyed it tremendously. I wish I could go to similar shows. So much beautiful things especially the fabric…love, love the embroidered fabric you bought! I would perhaps spend a lot of money 💰 in the Japanese stall😉. Thank you Marion!
Glad you took us along, you got some fantastic finds and showed us some beautiful needle work. I too find shows in my area are lacking the sale of threads, any type. I prefer to buy in person so I can see the colors or feel them.
It's all scrumptious Rachel. I just want to get sewing with it all straight away! However by next week I'll be back to getting on with things I already have coming down the pipeline...
Marion is love your videos. I love all of your treasures you found. I also have 20 WIP’s projects going on at once. My OCD organization is similar to yours. I love keeping all my projects in separate containers. Your picnic case is perfect. Our minds work in similar manners. As you collect all the treasured fabric for your coat it’s all together. I have made wood trays decorated with rulers all around the sides. Very crafty design look. Everything I need for each project; threads, buttons, etc. is all contained. Then when I’m ready to leave the house or move from room to room I just pick up a new project tray. It also slips perfectly into my project bags I made to take to the car! I always have several projects in the car while my husband drives & also if I stop for a break I always have one of my forever ending WIPs right with me with everything I need for that project. Also an old decorated eyeglass case which I place magnets inside to store my needles & favorite scissors. Happy stitching. Mariaknits27 💃🏻💕🧵🧶📚☕️🧘🏽♀️🕯️🙏🏻
You do sound the same as me! I always had a project bag for the car too. Mainly it would be some knitting or crochet... It's amazing how much can get done even on those short journeys we all do.
Oh how I wish there was such a beautiful building for a show here on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Sashiko is a new found love of mine, so I was interested in your purchases. Love your channel, Marion and thank you for your inspirations.
Looks like you had a great time Marion! I wish I lived closer so I could attend! I would go crazy for all the beautiful things. I love all that you got. The blue fabric with the little birds and the embroidered linen were my favorites. I can’t wait to see what you will make with all these goodies.
Isn't there anything like that where you live Cris? I should really have shown more of the yarns. But they were in a different hall and we went through it after our lunch. By that time I had forgotten to turn my camera on ....
I did get to see your jean purse after all! I love the bottom tassel you put on it. It looks like the skirts we used to make with the added fabric on the bottom. Loved it. I am happy I reminded you about the handbag. The pockets are a great idea too, and a zip closure is awesome. I am still thinking about making one just the size of a back pocket of a pair of jeans. Just enough for my phone and ID, and maybe my keys to hang on the belt loop. I might slow stitch on it too, great way to use scraps. The show looks fab. So glad you found some lovely fabrics to play with. The embroidered linen will be fab for a skirt. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure.
Yes Michelle..... you reminded me about it! The jeans made really strong great bags. You just need to do a box bottom to shape it. A lining makes it really lovely to use too.
Thank you for sharing this adventure. I was so inspired I went to the Popplestone Studio website and bought one of her scarf kits with three fish-shaped buttons! The button you bought is beautiful! Happy holidays 🌺🍃

There's the London one in September too....but it's too far away for me. I'd have to stay the night somewhere and it makes it all too expensive. I imagine it's fantastic though..
@@marionsworld24 I know people that went to a London one recently and were really disappointed mainly because the lack of stitch and in the main was yarn based so when I saw the Harrogate one at least with the fab fabrics it looked good. I just love these type of shows though lol.
I so enjoyed the the Harogate show!!! I wish I could have been there in person! We have large fiber shows in the states but not so much stitching, at least I don’t know if there are any so it was nice to see this. I’m intrigued as to what Christmas presents you are making!!! Thank you Marion
Oh this was a treat Marion. I don’t get to any of the Shows these days and haven’t visited the Harrogate one. Fabulous venue. I would spend a fortune there because I saw so many lovely things in your video. I may go to the Sewing for Pleasure, shall have to see. Some of those embroideries were beautiful weren’t they. Such patient stitchers. I think your Boro coat is going to be a work of art. I must say the sampler kit you purchased took my eye too. Love all the threads you chose as well. Tfs 😊
Thank you so very much for sharing this with us. I’ve discovered new (to me) amazing artists. Wow! I live too far from any big cities where these stitching/crafting shows may be, so your video is a real treat. It’s the closest I’ll get to see such gorgeous creations. Thank you! Sending best wishes from Down Under 🥰🌺🌻🌸🌼💐🇦🇺😎
Oh that was a fabulous trip to the show Marion! I loved seeing what you came home with too. Like you, I always have so many craft or sewing projects to work on & ideas in my head for many more.
Hi Marion. Just found your video by chance! Wasn't the show fantastic?! I went on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of things there. I spent a lot of time viewing the textile exhibitions and talking with the artists and creators. I especially loved the Hand and Lock prize for embroidery exhibit - such stunning works. I chatted to Jan Beaney and Jean Littlejohn about their landscape textiles and added a few stitches to Vanessa Marr's duster art project. As for the shopping...oh my!!! I got a beadwork kit, a Dorset button kit, some back issues of "Embroidery" magazine and some aida fabric for cross stitch. Thank you for such a lovely, authentic video. So nice to re- live the sights and sounds of the show. ❤
Thanks so much Karen for your positive words about my video. Sounds like you had a great time too. Friday was busy but there was definitely space to get around. I heard that Thursday was dreadfully packed.
Yes I am ! ☺️ I knitted it when she first released the pattern. I changed one or two things... omitted the pockets, shortened the sleeves, and did Latvian braid around the neckline. I love it. Also about the start her Yell cardigan. Expect to see a video soon ☺️
Thanks for filming some of the Show. I went to the K&S in London years ago specifically to see Jean Littlejohn and Jan Beaney's exhibition. I was so pleased to see the one stitch piece of Jean's. I still have to finish a quilt of fabrics I bought from Japan Crafts years ago! You didn't buy any wool and I went to the FOQ and didn't buy any fabric other than pieces of hand-dyed linen, threads and a few charts. I had luggage to carry so kept it light just enjoyed myself and got very tired!
@@marionsworld24 I'd be happy if I could do what you do Marion. I gave up trying to make clothes years ago when my daughter got to double figures and quickly outgrew what took me hours to make. I found the cost of a simple cotton dress with zip, trims etc and pattern - I tried to make a few to justify the cost of a pattern - well I could buy cheaper at C&A/Littlewoods/BHS for example and what I made for myself didn't fit well so I stuck to knitting, lacemaking, simple embroidery and cross stitch until I began quilting and joined The Embroiderers' Guild in 2001. Since then I stitch and knit and wish the cataracts and arthritis weren't gaining strength!🙃. Who enjoys ageing?!! I only make a variety of gifts for those who appreciate the time and love I put into them these days.
Jean this really resonates with me. I agree it started to be cheaper to but new. But at that time, whilst my children were young I couldn't even do that. I used to go to jumble sales. Not cool in those days like it is now. I was always taking things apart and remaking so my daughter had lovely dresses that had cost me time...but only pennies in money. Although I am able to treat myself now to new fabric I tend to buy good stuff and still go to charity shops for clothes to pull apart for normal clothes. I just got into the habit.....😊 Also I'm sure you've heard the phrase "quilt worthy", well substitute that for knit worthy, craft worthy or anything else you spend your precious time making!
@@marionsworld24 Nothing wrong with that. Having a sister 10 years older meant mum had usually to start from scratch - mum being 46 when I was born and my dad 56! - so only as I grew older did I have clothes remade out of my sister's cast offs.

Loved the shopping trip, amazing projects 🙌🏻👏❤️
That was lovely to visit that beautiful location and I love the things in your haul ☺️. Thank you for sharing 💕
I'm sorry you're not feeling well Pauline.. 😥
You and Helen can come and knock on my door anytime you like ☺️👍
Thank U for taking us with U❤😊
Oh my goodness, such beauty. Thank you so much for sharing all of this trip. I just love your channel and all of the creations.
That's a great show to go to!
Hello Marion, thank you for taking us with us to the show , and sharing the lovely treasure. Have a good weekend soft hugs Teresa xxx
💕💐🪡🧵
Your video is just fine the way it is. I really enjoyed seeing all the embroideries you were able to film for us.
Thanks so much for sharing !!! You are a true artist 🪡🧵♥️
That was wonderful! Thank you!!
You're welcome. I have always fancied visiting the Alexandra Palace show. But it's just so expensive from so far away.
I am so grateful to you for taking me to an amazing sewing show. There is a lot less opportunity for this in Canada where I live. It would be impossible not to over spend. What a treat though!
It's definitely hard to be restrained, that's for sure! I'm pleased you enjoying watching about my visit. Thank you.
Boa noite meu girassol 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 adorei seu trabalho muito delicado parabéns mil beijinhos 🌻 💋 🌻 💋 🌻
Thank you so much 🌻💐🪡🧵
I loved this trip. it's so fun.
WoW, such a gorgeous building the show was in. Love the items that you brought home.
I've just made the skirt with that gorgeous embroidered linen... 😊
Thanx for sharing your trip xxx You bought some lovely things xxx You're a busy bee 😍😍😍😍😍
There's a new Harrogate visit coming on Wednesday...
Thank you for taking us along on this magical trip. What beautiful workmanship. ❤
Marion ! You have them all beat! Hands down in my book!
Thanks for the kind words Kathy ☺️💐
Glad that you had a lovely day at the show and it's even better when you can take along like-minded souls to! I look forward to seeing you start on you boro inspired coat maybe in the New Year. Best wishes as always.
Thanks Rachel. All done till next year... The only other show I go to is at the NEC in March..
Wow! I loved seeing the Harrogate show! We don’t have shows like that here in my part of the US. Just gorgeous! Thank you for sharing!
You're in for a treat then Diana. I was just given a ticket to the Christmas show that is at Harrogate on Thursday this week! How wonderful is that?! Of course, I'll film my visit for you all.....
We spotted ourselves 🎉 had a super day xxx
What?! Oh my goodness that's brilliant.... Tell me where you are.. I'll go and have a look😂
Sooo much gorgeousness❤ thanks for sharing
There was so much I didn't even show... I even forgot to film in the yarn hall...!
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Thanks.
Brilliant. Thanks for watching..
Can you see the envy in my eyes. I'm in Australia and wish we had some of this near where I live. No luck so far. Do like your embroidered linen and the wonderful threads. I tend to buy mine on line. I feel that I was there with you. Thank you so much for filming your trip through the aisles.
👍☺️ I'm off to a local wool show in a couple of weeks.. I'll be making a video about that too..🧶
Thank you so much for bringing us along!
Beautiful building you had the show in.🎉 I loved your trip there. Looking forward to see all you do with your purchases.❤
☺️
I am glad I watched the show I go to the one in Scotland in March then October sewing and knitting and crafts 🐝🐝
Wonderful video, my friend and her daughter went this year as they won tickets. I used to live in Harrogate and went every year. I am looking forward to visiting her and we share our finds like you have done. Thank you again, I am saving to go next year xxx
I hope you get to go Lorna. You'll need some spending pennies that's for sure 😊
Just saw 3.46K subscribers!!! Yay for you Marion ! Congratulations!
It's got me all of a flutter Sue ☺️
So so happy for YOU MARION ! 🥳👏
I think I would have just wallowed in that show! Lovely lovely items. Thank you!
Well I did. And my sister and friend too 😊
Glad you enjoyed the show Marion.

Very informative and sharing lots of new traders is great Marion, thank you so much.
You're welcome Lynette ☺️
I enjoyed your trip to the show and seeing your purchases. Have a blessed Christmas Marion.
Thank you Marion for taking us on such a lovely day out with you, love the atmosphere and the old building beautiful. It was inspiring having a peek at some of the stalls , love all your buys , what a fun day out and about. ❤
It was really great ☺️💐
I love your excursions. I hope there are more to come. Cheers from Canada
Hoping to go to a local wool show next month... I'll ask if I can take everyone along 👍🧶
I just wish I'd gone back to see her!
You got some lovely fabric Marion. Wasn’t able to get there this year so thanks for taking me there with your video.
You're welcome Christine. I really did have a lovely time with Wendy and my friend Alison too.
Love that jeans bag would so love if you could make another to show us how especially how to put that zip section in
I'll put it on my list of things for the New Year Lesley. Thanks for watching...
THAT WAS FUN. I HAVE ONLY BEEN TO ONE FIBER SHOW WITH MY DAUGHTER OH MAYBE 12 YEARS AGO.
It was a great show!
Your gonna have to live to 100😮to finish with those fabrics😅great place for a show, overload of stuff there, I got worn out just watching. Love your fire place mantel. Lovely fabrics...good 🤞 luck
Thanks Yvonne 💐😊
From my teens, my home was a 17 th century farmhouse , how I’ve ended up in a bland new build is beyond me! I love what I’ve seen of yours xx
I'd love to be living in an old farmhouse! The stuff of dreams😊
😊🧵🪡👍
Thank you so much for bringing us along! I enjoyed it tremendously. I wish I could go to similar shows.
So much beautiful things especially the fabric…love, love the embroidered fabric you bought! I would perhaps spend a lot of money 💰 in the Japanese stall😉. Thank you Marion!
I had to force myself to stop! There was one stall where I said to the lady I'd happily take her whole stall home with me... :)
@@marionsworld24 😂😂😂
This is awesome
Glad you took us along, you got some fantastic finds and showed us some beautiful needle work. I too find shows in my area are lacking the sale of threads, any type. I prefer to buy in person so I can see the colors or feel them.
Always lovely to see threads in real life first..
What a lovely show and a pretty place they had it in! I enjoyed going along and seeing some of the loveliness! Love what you bought!!
It's all scrumptious Rachel. I just want to get sewing with it all straight away! However by next week I'll be back to getting on with things I already have coming down the pipeline...
Thank you for sharing the show with us. It looked amazing!
Thank you for sharing I've never been to one and I guess I can say I had been now and you're my favorite ❤️
😅 It was really good!
Thanks Denise.. :)
Oh I'm so pleased you liked her things Laurie... They are so lovely. I don't know anyone else who makes the buttons like she does.
@@marionsworld24 I am really looking forward to knitting it and wearing it as the weather is getting cold here now in New York City 😉 Thank you again for sharing a little of your world with the world 🌟
Loved watching this - thank you! From a fellow northerner (County Durham). x
Me too! I'm from Sunderland originally and am now west of Bishop Auckland...
Are you near?
Hi Marion, I'm from Darlington, and my partner was born in Boldon, Sunderland, but we now live in East Yorkshire. We still love going back to the north east, that's where our hearts are! I love your work and am glad to have found your channel. x @@marionsworld24
Thank you for explaining everything so clearly, I just love watching your videos 😊
Lovely too see the show! Loved what you bought too. I’m going to have to try and go next year! X
I couldn't possibly say!😅
Oh this was a treat Marion. I don’t get to any of the Shows these days and haven’t visited the Harrogate one. Fabulous venue. I would spend a fortune there because I saw so many lovely things in your video. I may go to the Sewing for Pleasure, shall have to see. Some of those embroideries were beautiful weren’t they. Such patient stitchers. I think your Boro coat is going to be a work of art. I must say the sampler kit you purchased took my eye too. Love all the threads you chose as well. Tfs 😊
I'm really looking forward to starting the coat. I must finish the linen one first though 😅🪡🧵
I really loved Mandy Patullo’s work; I’m going to look her up 😊😊 Thanks for taking me to Harrogate!
You're welcome. Hopefully I'll have another show video next week. 🤞
Thank you so very much for sharing this with us. I’ve discovered new (to me) amazing artists. Wow! I live too far from any big cities where these stitching/crafting shows may be, so your video is a real treat. It’s the closest I’ll get to see such gorgeous creations. Thank you!
Sending best wishes from Down Under 🥰🌺🌻🌸🌼💐🇦🇺😎
Thanks for taking us along!
Are you wearing the Sage dress by Marie Wallin? Love it! It looks like such an amazing show, thank you for taking us along with you!
Yes I am ! ☺️ I knitted it when she first released the pattern. I changed one or two things... omitted the pockets, shortened the sleeves, and did Latvian braid around the neckline. I love it. Also about the start her Yell cardigan. Expect to see a video soon ☺️
So many different arts and crafts. Very inspiring. Thank you for sharing the trip to the show. 😊
You're welcome Gail. Thanks for watching. 😊
I've never been to the festival of quilts. It always sounds wonderful though. I normally do more clothes sewing and embroidery these days.
I just got into the habit.....😊
Also I'm sure you've heard the phrase "quilt worthy", well substitute that for knit worthy, craft worthy or anything else you spend your precious time making!
@@marionsworld24 Nothing wrong with that. Having a sister 10 years older meant mum had usually to start from scratch - mum being 46 when I was born and my dad 56! - so only as I grew older did I have clothes remade out of my sister's cast offs.
Thanks for taking us along to the show it looked wonderful and I love all your purchases and can’t wait to see what you make with them.
I have plans aplenty 😊
I love your jumper
I can't remember which one I was wearing 😅 I'll have to go and have a look 👍
@@marionsworld24 😅 it looked like a random fairisle with random colours. Beautiful. I have been going to Harrogate for years. I’ll say hi if I see you this year.
