Marion thank you for showing your craft room. Your talents are limitless. Building ships that are so beautiful with tiny stick men out of real sticks. Flying dragons, beautiful raven in progress, and fabric books. And you have the ability to get an idea in your mind and then make it so beautifully. That's real talent. And you have a beautiful garden.
Hi Pauline here from Mollymook Beach Australia 🇦🇺 😎 WOW Marion, you are so amazing !!! Your craftroom is wonderful, I love everything about it , like you, my craftroom is my haven. It's only a small room, but boy, have I got some great stuff in there & in containers under beds,& in the tops of wardrobes in other rooms & little does hubby know of the stuff in the suitcase under our bed 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 OH THE JOYS OF CRAFTING 😊😊😊😊 No need for me to tell you to have fun ... the proof is jn the pudding TFS XXXXXX
Ha Ha! Thanks Pauline. Sounds like I'd like to have a nosey around your craft room too! I used to have so much more than I have now. But I've really tried hard to get rid of things for crafts I don't do anymore. I passed them on or donated them. It's given me a better space to organise the things I do every day. And to have it displayed too. I'm sure all crafters do the same. Get interested in a certain thing, get loads of stuff, only to find that 6 months later you're not doing it anymore. But you hang onto the stuff! For me it was mainly papercraft and scrapbooking. I loved it at the time, but I'm just not that interested anymore. I gave all the stuff away to someone who was really into it.
Hello Marion! Thank you for sharing your craft room with us. I love your shelves with all the colourful treasures on display. The abundance of your garden is breathtaking!
What a special, special room you’ve created-thank you for the tour! Your garden is STUNNING-I can only imagine how amazing it must smell. I would love to see/learn how you make your cardboard boats and look forward to any of your projects-you are so creative! Oh, and I’m an American living in Co. Kerry, Ireland (to add to your list of viewers around this globe. 🙂)
You're a long way from your origins... I'm loving seeing where everyone is from.. My original cardboard boat was done following a pattern by Ann Wood of annwoodhandmade.com You should check out her website too.
Oh Marion I'm so happy you started to post on RUclips and share your amazing creativity. Your craft room is like none other, I loved every bit of it, especially that it looks right out into your glorious garden. My craft room is full of my treasures also and color coordinated yarns and fabric and things. It would be the most pleasant day ever if you visited my craft room and I visited yours. But alas I am in Illinois USA.
Oh it sounds lovely! I'm lucky to have such a creative space. It's definitely evolved over time but it's now perfect for me. I know some people wouldn't like everything on show, but I find all the colours very inspiring. I'm off to look up Illinois on the map!😊
Oh Marion, you are a girl after my own heart. I can feel the joy and contentment you must feel in your space. Thank you so much for sharing your “world”. Hugs and blessings from Canada, 🤗🇨🇦❤️
What a beautiful and inspiring place to work. Everything in your room is beautiful. I've loved spending some time in there. You have such a beautiful soul xx
Thank you so much for sharing your interest and showing us your craft room and garden all very beautiful. It's all in abundance like your skills and all that you love to make, it's endless Marion. Will look forward to seeing more finished project's, thank you again. xx
Thank you Jayne. I hope you'll continue to like the things I'll be doing and making. I'm very much a newbie at being on RUclips and making the videos as I'm not on any other social media at all.
💕❤️💕 Marion, I think we may be twins who live far away from one another. Your beautiful room is like the room I have here in Alaska and if I were able to grow a garden here i would want it to be like yours. I’m happy to have found your channel and l always look forward to your next video. Many thanks for sharing your special place.
That sounds wonderful! I wish I could see your space too.... I was actually thinking I wanted to visit Alaska a few months ago. But it was so expensive to get there I'm afraid. I even priced flights to Anchorage!
Oh so happy to have found your channel Marion. You are such a talented lady and your crafts are amazing and inspiring. Very much looking forward to watching as you share more projects .
I've enjoyed this tour again this morning as I needed something nice to enjoy in bed. I've a miserable cold and usually up and out but taking it easy today and trying to act my age for a change. Your sewing room is fabulous Marion and I love your garden. It's just like ours because we like flowers trees bushes but need our songbirds as well. We don't have a pond so we fill the bird baths when doing the feeders. We have a big springer spaniel called Barney who is not interested in digging so our plants are safe. He does enjoy strawberries and peas that I share and helps pick flowers for the house. ❤
What a beautiful yard and craft room. Love to see all the flowers. It isn't overgrown to me it's luscious, full of natural beauty. I have always loved drawing Viking ships as a kid. What a great job. I'm from Canada
What a lovely”trip”thru Marion’s imaginarium - (defined by Wikipedia as a place devoted to the imagination)! We are all so lucky that you have made this space for yourself and that you are sharing! Love: Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage. I would add to courage , imagination? And if that’s the case, I’m guessing your life is about to explode!!!( in a very good way). Now I can envision you as you work away to finish the raven or as you start to dream up your next three projects- thanks for the peek into your special world!!!
Hi Marion....well what a treat you have given us all...I love your craft room and I can understand how happy you feel sitting in there and gazing out at your beautiful garden. I have a Bernina too, I bought it in 1986 and love sewing with it. I live in Fremantle, Western Australia and it is winter here at the moment...yesterday it was 3oC at the start of the day but it does warm up. I love the knitting pattern you showed us by Jaki Bogg, a new designer to me...I love to knit and these are such colourful designs. Well...I look forward to finding out which projects you will make next...myself I am knitting a Marie Wallin yoke sweater in Jamiesons shetland yarn. 🥀🌸🥀
30deg in winter!!! My goodness Lydia we don't hardly get summers like that here! Which Marie Wallin sweater are you knitting? I forgot to put in a picture of the one I have the yarn for. It's the Yell cardigan. I'm not quite ready for a knitting project at the moment though. I'm off to look up where Fremantle is now.
Oh my gosh. Your room is not just a tour it’s an adventure!! ❤. Absolutely love your boats especially the Viking story. Love it!! All your treasures are so beautiful. And yes love an older sewing machine myself. I have an older Husquvana. Just love it. Even tho it needs a little tune up by now. Lolol 😂
The older machines are a pleasure to use. I do have a modern Janome too. It's a good sewer but so light on the table that sometimes it moves around. The old ones stay where they're put!
I love your crafting room, and what wonderful treasures, that immense button collection, the rocks with holes, and so much else, with that lovely garden just outside. Enchanting!
Thank you for inviting us into your fascinating world. Thank you for telling about Eric. Love Norse mythology. I too am a butterfly crafter. Sewing, journaling painting usually two or three projects on the go. Makes for interest and also time to think and maybe change something you’re working on. 🇬🇧😊
That's exactly it Sheila! It's not that I have no patience with one thing. It's more that I want to do everything. So if I fancy knitting ...there's something there to pick up. If it's sewing ...again something there to do. It keeps me interested in everything!
Ohhhh my words, What lovely room, Its cool . I love when people show their place, You look at the room, and i think you see the real person, I love how you can sit there , with a big room, sun coming in, and you see you garden, birds and ..... what ever, Your work room, is just the kind, i think is me . Thank you for showing, its just lovely Marion.
Wow Marion! Like me I cannot just work on one thing I too flit around from one craft to another, my workroom is so full I have little room to work. I do think if I live to be three hundred I would never use all the materials etc. that I collect. You have inspired me to have a sort out but it is a case of , “I can’t throw that it will come in useful one day” in the past when I have parted with things I then found why I had saved the thing and needed it for a project!! I truly love what you did with your sewing chair!! What an amazing, peaceful garden you have created. How much I admire your skill. “Carry on regardless!” Kind regards, Wendy
Oh to live in your imagination, what a wonderful place to be! Thank you for sharing your craft room with us, it's so eclectic and feels like a place any crafter could sit in and feel at home in. So much to see, and you're clearly a lady who has so much yet to do. Your garden is enchanting and must smell beautiful with all those roses, a gorgeous place to sit quietly and mull over all those ideas with a nice cup of tea.
Love your craft room. I use all kinds of glass jars for buttons ,beads and all sorts of tiny things. Love your ships! Love the sails. You are are such a creative soul. Can't wait to see more from you. Maybe a ship? Lol...God Bless
Hi Marion, Looks a wonderful space you have created yourself, so colorful and creative. It is wonderful to see the love, joy and fun you use for everything you do. I love watching your videos. Lots of love from Israel
I am mostly painting and embroidering. Mostly portraits. However, i love seeing the nature scenes of your books. I watch your videos while working on my projects 🙂 @@marionsworld24
Brilliant! Do you paint in watercolour or acrylic? I've recently been practicing my watercolour painting after many, many years of not doing anything beyond painting up furniture etc. I wanted to paint my daughter's portrait in watercolour. It was okay, but I didn't quite get her likeness. I have been getting better though the more I do. Practicing regularly is really helping me. 😊🖌️
Hello from Colorado USA! I am enjoying all your videos. Great craft room so wonderful it looks out on the beautiful garden. Thank you so much for sharing.
Loved seeing your craft room which shows all your collections of what interests and inspires you. You are so talented and we are fortunate that you are sharing with us what you enjoy making. Alas moving so much - my husband was in the RAF - much of my stash has ended up packed into plastic boxes which keeps out unwanted creepy crawlies, allows me to see at a glimpse what is generally inside and repacks easily into moving boxes. Once moved they refill the old chest of drawers, dressing table and wardrobe (the latter has to be rebuilt but my husband refuses to part with!). Not much room left for much shelving as the large wall hangings of holiday reminders won't fit elsewhere!
I did used to house my stash and supplies in boxes like that too. Especially when I didn't have this room. But when we decided this could be an office/ workroom I jumped at the chance! I definitely do more crafting now that it's all out around me. I feel inspired by the colours, and everything is just to hand. I know I'm lucky to have that though.
@@marionsworld24 My main problem is that I've tried various stitching crafts so have supplies and need to remind myself they're there! E.g. supplies to do Goldwork, Stumpwork, Whitework, Crewelwork, Beading, Silk Ribbon and Silk Shading, Patchwork and Quilting, threads and fabrics to embroider and cross stitch and also knitting. I haven't got rid of my lacemaking pillows or supplies either although I've nearly forgotten how to begin pieces. Like in anything I enjoy making but fully finishing is the dreaded part unless I can take it to be framed! Too easy to spoil a piece of work you've spent hours making! Unfortunately I need to follow someone else's design/pattern as if I have to create my own I just go blank. Years with an Embroiderers' Guild branch (before we moved and they folded) at least gave me an appreciation of the skills of others using textile supplies in a different way to the way I do. That's me in a nutshell Marion. That's why I could gaze at the contents of your book for hours. Lockdown for me meant hours I could sit and stitch with no outside commitments to keep🙂. More me time.
Wow! Thank you for showing us your beautiful craft room, so many beautiful things! I’m in awe of your Viking ship! Eric/ Erik, looks like a mighty warrior with wind blown hair and to think you made him from a stick in your garden! I am very glad you share your world with us, you inspire the creativity that sometimes we forget that we have perhaps not to the depth that you possess, but if we give some time to ourselves, maybe we’ll find our own creative self. Thank you for that. And your garden is so full of life and beautiful plants & flowers. It’s a great habitat for insects & birds. Sure looks like a happy place! Excited to see what your next project will be. Take care. 🌷tess
Thank you Tess for the lovely message. I do believe everyone has creativity. Just sometimes it may not be what you expect. Finding the thing that inspires you is the key and then practicing that on a regular basis. Then there's no saying how much a person can achieve.
Hi Marion, just found your video and so love your craft room and garden. I live in Australia and its still winter for us, despite this I have a garden full of colour and flowers. I follow your gardening style and love the birds and creatures that call it their home. I love the bird embroidery you are doing, it has inspired me to do ones of my colourful bird visitors. Looking forward to catching up with your past videos and to the new ones to follow.
Welcome wishes are flying towards Australia. I'm so pleased you've found me in my little corner of the world! I hope you enjoy doing the embroidery of the birds that come to your garden Wendi...
Your Viking ship is absolutely amazing and I especially love the story. I love your creativity and imagination. Thank you for bringing us into your creating space! ❤
Marion, I enjoy your videos so much. You are very talented in so many things. I love your craft room with the many colors, and your garden is so beautiful!! Thank you for sharing with us! Much Love and Many Blessings! ❤️😘🤗💕from Maryland, USA
Lovely room to cozy into, having all things in their proper place. Love the cupboard behind you.being able to sit down and carry on, whatever comes to mind. Thanx for sharing your private space Marion. Lovely flowers too. Your boats were impressive, considering the materials 😉🕊️
Thanks Yvonne. I've always tried to make things without spending a lot. In past years I just wouldn't have had the finances to buy the things I would have liked to, so it makes you be more creative with what you have available.
Hi Marion. I really enjoyed the tour of your inspiring craft room and beautiful garden. It was lovely to see how you have all your precious things on shelves, I too like to have everything out around me, buttons, fabrics, threads and all that delicious stuff😊. I was encouraged to hear how you enjoy creating more than one thing at a time. I too am very much someone who goes from one thing to another, there are so many different crafty/arty things I like to explore. I am in my early sixties and live in a very topsy turvy cottage garden in the Strezlecki ranges in Victoria Australia. Thank-you so very much again for such an inspiring video, am looking forward to watching your older videos😊🌼🏵 💚 🧵
I love the sound of your topsy turvy cottage garden Maria! I'll be looking up the Strezlecki ranges as soon as I finish replying to these comments.... We're of an age...I'll be 64 next month. Thank you for joining me in my work room amongst all the colourful things.
Came back for another peek at your lovely craft room and beautiful garden. . Trying to sort my studio presently. Seeing your room inspires me to keep going, thanks Marion🧵😊
Thanks, Marion, for showing your craft room. I love everything you have in there and it's such a relaxing room. You have inspired me to change my room around and paint my cupboards. Can't wait for your next video. You are so talented.
Thank you for your lovely messages Nancy. I love painted cupboards. Paint is not particularly expensive and it can totally change the whole look of a room or a piece of furniture. The cupboard in the workroom was a total experiment in the way I painted it. But it worked out so well. I can't imagine it any other way now!
I love your craft room. Your dragon boat is amazing. I love how your room looks out to that amazing garden. I wish i could visit but I'm in the mountains of California USA 🇺🇸. I'm near Yosemite National Park. I'm a new subcriber.
Welcome to my channel Polly. I'm pleased you like what I've been posting. It's quite a new channel. I'm new to all this RUclips stuff too... I'm going to get a map to put pins in for all the places people are telling me about.......
I have craft room envy. It is fabulous! And a beautiful garden right outside the door. Thanks for your videos. I am from New Jersey in the USA and I just found your channel.
I found that clock unexpectedly on a day out with my sister. As soon as we saw it we both knew it would be coming back with me for the sewing room wall😅
It took ages but was well worth it! And now they're such a lovely display on the shelves . Also, going through them all meant I could separate out really special ones into a jar so they were easy to look through too. I hope you enjoy your button sorting !😅
This was wonderful. I love to see how others organize their supplies. You have so many amazing creations, and it's such an enchanting, inspiring space. Your handmade stone tools are excellent! We live in part of Wisconsin that historically had many Indigenous people. There are tools and artifacts to be found each year when farmers plow their fields. Collecting arrowheads is a favorite hobby of my father. Thank you so much for sharing! 💕
Very interesting and inspiring space! Thank you for sharing it and your lovely garden. I just discovered your channel the other day and have already tried the flower pounding project. Had a fun afternoon playing with my sis in law. Thanks!
That's wonderful to hear Fran! I hope you use your flower fabric for something special. The colours do fade a bit, but I never mind about that. Plus I overstitch things anyway. I was surprised so many people hadn't heard of it before. I always feel everyone knows how to do stuff already.....
New subbie here and very happy to see your space!! I will use your jar storage idea to curate some filled with lovely pieces to sell - thank you!! I must say my favorite in your craft room are the tins and door knobs ... the crystal ones on your door and the porcelain ones on your shelf. Love the Asian character letterings on your wall. I'm still perusing but what a beautiful, inspiring space!! Love your Mum's tin with your paint brushes! And the ships!! OH MY!!! I always hope in curating my collections (I'm not a maker but a hard seller) that buyers buy and use their imaginations with my offerings. Your ships speak!! The good news is that my buyers are well suited artists and are already in the know of how to use collections. My challenge is bringing in newbies to stretch their imaginations, and I look to channels like this for inspiration to inspire. So, thank you and I can't wait to study more here!
Hello Renee. The porcelain ones are actually knobs from an old brass bedstead that I couldn't bear to throw away. So I just display them for maximum prettiness! I'm pleased you've found some inspiration within my sewing room. I know some people would like a totally cleared up space to work in, but I find my inspiration by being able to see all the colours around me. Good job we're all different!
Ohhhh how beautiful a person you are. Your talents, your collection of things you love are so lovely. I have several projects going on at the same time also. Love keeping busy. Gracias, means thank you in Spanish.
Your craft room is amazing!!!! I love your beautiful garden too what a lively place to live! Your cardboard ships are fantastic thank you for sharing❤❤❤
I really enjoyed your room tour👏 It is lovely to get to know you bit by bit. I appreciate very much that you are so genuine person and your incredible talent. Your peaceful presence is so soothing in this busy world🤗
You are extraordinary! You are an exemplar of courage. You cannot have that kind of maximalist flair without the courage to be yourself. Watching, I had tears in my eyes and a good ache in my chest. My, oh, my! (Not everybody would know viking is a verb. That impressed me. Have you read the Saxon stories by Bernard Cornwell? Mr Cornwell traces his own family way, way back to Uhtred of Bamburgh. Fascinating story.)
Morning Mara. I surely have! I'm a big Bernard Cornwell fan right back from the earliest days of Sharpe.. He's a brilliant storyteller. Did you watch The Last Kingdom? It really brought the books to life. They did a great job with the cast and filming.
@@marionsworld24 I couldn’t get into the Last Kingdom. I had visualized Uhtred as a bigger man and less pretty. Ha! I loved Sean Bean as Sharpe, saw that show before reading the books, so pictured Sean Bean as I read, though I think Cornwell gave Sharpe black hair. I read the archer books and learned more about warfare. The English archers creamed those Genoese crossbowmen. I recently read a different book set during that same war. Now I’m reading about Zombies. My little family has discussed what we’ll do after the apocalypse. My son-in-law is not keen on skinning rabbits. 🐇 - “yikes!”
Absolutely stunning Marion. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful space with us. Your garden is definitely a garden to aspire to. I'm really looking forward to seeing your future projects and I am now inspired to paint an old set of drawers I've had for 30 years 😊
Hurrah...definitely paint them! If you don't like how they turn out...paint them again! I sometimes just keep adding colour till I like what's there. Also I paint on a base colour. Then go in with a small palette knife and start scraping the colour on and off again. You can get amazing patterns developing that you could never purposely do. It's exciting to see what appears...
Your daughter recommended me your channel as she thought I'd like it and she was right! This is the first of your videos I've watched and it was truly a joy, both your craft room and your garden are so beautiful and inspiring! I especially love the lovely open shelves full of crafty things, as well as the dragons, and the ships and the little viking, who is just amazing! And I love that so many things have stories attached them. If you do make another ship, I'd love to see how you do it!
Hello Beth. So lovely that Naomi told you about it and that you find it interesting too! She'll have told you it's a new venture I'm sure. I'm the most un-techie person! But I'm learning... Do you have any crafty hobbies?
@@marionsworld24 I wouldn't have known you weren't a techie person from your video! I do; mostly, I knit (I take my knitting out everywhere with me haha), but I also write, and have started learning to sew, spin yarn, and paint :)
I love your garden, and I'd love to have my own craft room. Yours is lovely, so full of craft materials, memories and things you've made. Some of those stones with holes look as if they are old stone age tools!
So much to see in your colourful craft room! I love the clock, the painted furniture, the pebbles, the sea glass and the boats! I can certainly understand why it is your happy place and I imagine it holds many happy memories for you! I am lucky enough to have a craft room which gets the morning sun and like you I have more than one project on the go! As for your garden.....it feels magical! ❤
You sound just like me! You have to have projects in differing crafts on the go so you can do just what makes you happy any particular day! Happy crafting Gillian.
Yes Marion I have just started doing embroidery again after many many years and am making little brooches, I also have several crochet projects on the go as well as knitting and I have made a very small start on a paper piecing quilt! Being retired has enabled me to spend time doing crafts that I love!
Such a lovely inspiring & interesting walk around your craft room Marion & I didn't want to leave. Your cardboard ships are absolutely amazing & I also love viking ships. Your little stick man is adorable. I feel like I've met a kindred spirit Marion & have collected rocks on my ledges & windowsills throughout my house, a mantle clock half hidden on an overcrowded shelf & I also have about 5 sewing machines some of which are very old, I currently use an older Bernina & have a vast collection of paints & sketching supplies, fabrics & various projects taking over my space. Been meaning to sort my million buttons & my overgrown garden is also in need of attention...Maybe we're related!😄😄 (Ps: I ever you make another cardboard ship, please consider doing progress videos.)
Sounds like we could be twins!😅 I am intending another ship. My Dad was a miner and I was interested in making a collier, which is a boat that took the coal from the North East down to London originally. There's a famous one that has an interesting story attached... I just haven't got round to making it yet 😊
@@marionsworld24 We moved house last year and our new home is on a new-ish housing estate. I have a small back garden and a raised flowerbed out front. The soil is builders rubble with a thin layer of poor soil over the top and the back is a blank slate of grass with one tree. We are west of Dallas in Texas and the summer sun is hot. It's amazing how many native wild flowers make an appearance in the roadside verges. I am learning and experimenting with what will grow well here. It's a fun experiment.
Oh, Marion! I was smiling the whole time, but when I saw your ships I stopped to comment and subscribe! How could there be anything more wonderful than a Norse goddess with a flying ship and a real Viking to sail it! You inspire us all. I have to identify with your under-the-table storage Thank you so much, and Happy New Year!
Good afternoon Marion, I have been watching your more recent videos and decided that I needed more Marion in my life so am watching your videos from the beginning of your channel. I knew I loved your creativity and gentle nature and your outlook on life already. But when you mentioned having your hand operated Singer machine so you could still sew through a zombie apocalypse, I felt we were soul mates, as I often reference my 'Z' plans, ha ha. Have a wonderful Christmas and thank you for being you!
Oh Marion! thank you for making my day so much more enjoyable! A perfect craft room to create beautiful things. I always have many crafts on the go, sewing, knitting, cross stitch, tatting and lately I have been learning how to make felt dolls. My problem is I run out of steam and instead of finishing I start something new. After watching this video you have given me some inspiration to finish some of my projects. I am from Canada, my Mom was from Pitsea, they moved from England to Canada just after the war. My son now lives in Bristol.
Oh Trish... you're a long way from your son! My daughter lives in Germany. We're lucky to live in the times we do and we can video our children wherever they are in the world. 💕
I LOVE your patio/garden space and your special room! You're a great artist!...REALLY! ...and your spaces feel so nice (no doubt it helps to give inspiration)! I know it grows with time, and you've done it!!! The flowers!...the bird sounds! 'So many details...what a DELIGHT! Thank you for sharing it on our "walk"!😊
Hi Marion, I'm sitting stitching, drinking coffee & re-watching your vids 🤗 Just been through your craftroom & garden with you again ... enjoyed it as much as the first time 🇦🇺😎😍
What a fabulous journey through your crafting world.. so varied .. I’m going to share this video with my daughter-in-law because she’s very crafty and I know she will love it ❤
Thanks so much. I'm lucky to have the space. Before we moved here I was always having to clear my stuff off the dining table when the children came home from school. There was always bags and boxes of stuff everywhere! I'd sew late at night once they'd gone to bed. It's a luxury to me having a proper space.
I think you are amazing with all the ships and the raven is just spectacular. So happy I stumbled upon your channel. I am writing from Arizona USA. Love your overgrown garden. We do have greenery here but not like this. so lovely to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. It has been 110 degrees here lately, just waiting for November to cool off some. Thank you for showing your special crafting place. Love the painting you did on the furniture too. Happy crafting and thank you again for sharing and the tutorials.
You're welcome Michelle. It's been quite cool here this past week. And very rainy too, a lot of my plants are dashed over because of the rain. I'm hoping for a nice warm week ahead...
Very nice craft room! The reveal I liked the most were your hand crafted ships, amazing art, very beautiful! And of course, you garden! It's simple delightfull! I am from Brazil, and stumble over your channel because of the Vlogmas series, witch I am enjoying very much! Thank you for sharing and showing all your lovely treasures! ❤
I love your studio and all the gorgeous colors in it💕. Such a motivational space for creating your treasures. Your ships are amazing!!!! Beautiful garden! Thank you so much for sharing🥰
You have a wonder and magical craft room and garden. You have quite a lovely voice much like a story teller. I think it’s just wonderful all Of the different flowers you grow and all the different crafting you do. Thanks so much for sharing a little bit of your world with us!
Hi Marion, I've really been enjoying your videos. You are very imaginative and creative. I make quilts and dabble in embroidery. I live in mid-coast Maine. Thanks for inspiring me! Beth
Thank you Beth. I don't make as many quilts now as I used to. I just don't need them anymore as I have so many. Although a quilt will be in my project video next. It's been waiting to be finished for years!

What an incredibly enjoyable video. I’m so glad I found your channel. I don’t know what I loved more, your sewing room or the garden?? Thank you for sharing 🙋🏻♀️
Marion, I happened on to your page by accident about a week (or two) ago and have been so inspired by your life style and sewing crafting style, I love your craft room - work shop,; you have organized it and set it up in a way that you can see whatever you need at a glance which is perfect for your multi talented life! You have inspired me to do the same type of thing with my little space, I love to follow along with what ever you are about to do next, and feel blessed to have found your site. Thank you for showing me what you can do with what you have on hand, and that you don’t feel the need to run out and purchase something new each time you are inspired, I love that you are a thrift store purchaser , and love to re- purpose old items. I have very much the same interests that you do and although we live oceans apart I feel a kindred spirit in you! I will continue to follow you and gain confidence in my own ability to create beautiful and diverse things! Thank you again ~Wendy~
I'm glad you have dragons to guard all your treasures. Stunning, love your world Marion, oh to have a cuppa in that garden 😊💜
What a magical house and garden you have created ❤
Your craft room and all its embellishments are beautiful.
Thank you Tracey
Oh, I agree!
Thanks Karen.☺️ I'm excited to say I finished the raven last night! If I've got time I'll film him today 🐦⬛☺️

But you hang onto the stuff! For me it was mainly papercraft and scrapbooking. I loved it at the time, but I'm just not that interested anymore. I gave all the stuff away to someone who was really into it.
I agree with you
Hello Marion! Thank you for sharing your craft room with us. I love your shelves with all the colourful treasures on display. The abundance of your garden is breathtaking!
Thanks Leanne. Sometimes I have a bit of a change around, but mainly things are exactly where I need them to be now.
My original cardboard boat was done following a pattern by Ann Wood of annwoodhandmade.com
You should check out her website too.
Thanks Laura. I definitely think it's very 'me'!
Really enjoying your world & passion for crafts & arts.
You are very beautiful inside out and your crafts room so cozy and beautiful and the garden I admire so much 🌸🌿
Thank you for the compliment... I'm afraid my poor garden is looking worse for wear at the moment. It needs me to do so much tidying up....🍃🍂🌿 🥾
What a beautiful and inspiring place to work. Everything in your room is beautiful. I've loved spending some time in there. You have such a beautiful soul xx
Thanks so much Kayleigh. I spend more time in here than anywhere else in the house!
Thank you Marion for sharing your lovely studio and garden with us. A very peaceful environment indeed. Love it!
@@marionsworld24 you are welcome anytime!!! I would show you the sights!
Oh so happy to have found your channel Marion. You are such a talented lady and your crafts are amazing and inspiring. Very much looking forward to watching as you share more projects .
A truly lovely world you, the birds, the frogs, the butterflies . . . .and all . . thrive and create in i
So enjoyed your craft room tour , and I'm also glad I found Marions World , I live in the Isle of Wight , England x
I think I'm going to have to get a map and stick pins in it!
Oh I hope you're getting over your awful cold by now Vera 🤞
There's an updated sewing room video coming today! 😊
What a beautiful yard and craft room. Love to see all the flowers. It isn't overgrown to me it's luscious, full of natural beauty. I have always loved drawing Viking ships as a kid. What a great job. I'm from Canada
🪡🧵🌸
What a lovely”trip”thru Marion’s imaginarium - (defined by Wikipedia as a place devoted to the imagination)! We are all so lucky that you have made this space for yourself and that you are sharing! Love: Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage. I would add to courage , imagination? And if that’s the case, I’m guessing your life is about to explode!!!( in a very good way). Now I can envision you as you work away to finish the raven or as you start to dream up your next three projects- thanks for the peek into your special world!!!
The raven is finished! I'm hoping to post it later today. I just can't wait....
Diane .....Omg that is a brilliant way of putting it. Your words are perfect!! ❤
It would be nice if it was 30oC but no it is 3oC so much colder ….😊
@@marionsworld24 i totally understand what you mean
I love your crafting room, and what wonderful treasures, that immense button collection, the rocks with holes, and so much else, with that lovely garden just outside. Enchanting!
Thank you so much!
Thanks Niccolette...
There's actually an update video coming today of what my room is like now 😅
The garden does have amazing scent. Especially on an evening as the sun goes down.
Oh golly...thank you. You're such a wonderful spirit!
Wow... thank you Jane. I just do my 'thing' really....
Love your craft room. I use all kinds of glass jars for buttons ,beads and all sorts of tiny things. Love your ships! Love the sails. You are are such a creative soul. Can't wait to see more from you. Maybe a ship? Lol...God Bless
Pleased you like it. There'll definitely be a ship in the future. Not quite yet though I think...
Hi Marion, Looks a wonderful space you have created yourself, so colorful and creative. It is wonderful to see the love, joy and fun you use for everything you do. I love watching your videos. Lots of love from Israel
Thank you so much Dikla. What do you like to create?
You're so welcome. That'll be another pin in the map I think I should put on the wall!

Adore everything. I’m going to gather some older pieces for my studio now. Thanks Marion x
Hope you have fun Jen!
@@marionsworld24 It is a lovely part of the world. Beautiful fields and forests . 🌲🍁
I love your craft room so much 🤗 thanks for showing us
You are so welcome!
I have craft room envy. It is fabulous! And a beautiful garden right outside the door. Thanks for your videos. I am from New Jersey in the USA and I just found your channel.
Hello Barbara. I'm glad you are enjoying what you've found. Thank you for watching.
That wall clock is what creative dreams are made of!!! 😍 The cabinets 😍😍
I found that clock unexpectedly on a day out with my sister. As soon as we saw it we both knew it would be coming back with me for the sewing room wall😅
I can’t pick out one thing I like most in your sewing/craft room. I love it all. Excuse me, now I have to go sort buttons!
Finding arrowheads sounds amazing! If I was there I'd be asking to go with him 😅
Very interesting and inspiring space!
Love your studio! I really enjoy my studio also. It definitely is my happy place. Happy sewing! 🧵 💃🏻💕
Love your craft room thank you for showing us round.
You are welcome Bridget.

I really enjoyed your room tour👏 It is lovely to get to know you bit by bit. I appreciate very much that you are so genuine person and your incredible talent. Your peaceful presence is so soothing in this busy world🤗
Thank you so much for your message 💐
What an absolutely stunning beautiful magical garden gorgeous ❤
Thanks Melanie.... It is looking very overgrown at the moment I'm afraid.... A lot of cutting back to do once the autumn comes along..
Wonderful to see your room and garden Marion. Thank you for the tour. Can’t wait to see your projects come to life. 💕
Thank you so much. I do like having projects on the go!
Thanks for sharing your room and garden with us. I really love your sewing machine Marion. 🌷
Thanks Helen. A lovely gift from a friend who had.t ever used it as it was her mothers machine. It's getting famous now!
Sounds like we could be twins!😅
I am intending another ship. My Dad was a miner and I was interested in making a collier, which is a boat that took the coal from the North East down to London originally. There's a famous one that has an interesting story attached... I just haven't got round to making it yet 😊
Enjoyed the sewing room. Your garden is amazing. Loved it.
It's always such a pleasure to spend time in your garden.😊
Thank you Sue. It's not that big but there's a lot in it!

Such kind words Shelly. Thank you.

Glorious craftroom. I love the painted furniture and the eclectic bits and bobs.
I'm lucky I've got the space now. 😊

We used to use Bernina sewing machines at school, I think they’re bomb proof! I think it will outlast all of us. What a good friend. ❤
I love sewing on this... It's a ton weight so it stays where it's put on the table and it looks superb too ☺️👍

Amazing message Wendy. Thank you so much and thank you for subscribing too 💐🧵🪡😊
