Oh, Marion, your book is just something wonderful. It is also one of the most clever ways of putting a fabric book together. You are most definitely an artist of a different caliber. Please keep creating and sharing your talent. Thank you.
Marion - Your book is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. The artistry on each page takes my breath away. You’ve created an heirloom that will be treasured forever. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. ❤
What a blessing that God gives each of us a bit of His own creativity, an outlet for beauty and goodness to mirror His creation. Your gift is truly beautiful. Praise God for His goodness both in the beauty He has created for us to enjoy in nature and for giving us a little piece of it to express as well. Thanks for sharing yours with me ❤
Stunning beauty on each page!! Yes, this is an absolute heirloom to be treasured through the years. You should be very proud of your work. I am so thankful that you continue to create and craft new works all the time. You are a blessed, inspired artists with a soul that touches the whole world that discovers your channel. Every hour watching your channel is a gift!!!
This series is so fantastic and I loved every minute of it. I have been following you for awhile and I am going back through your older videos as I enjoy all of them so much. Thank you so much for sharing your process and the meaning behind the pages.
Hi Marion thanks for showing the construction of your book,it’s so clever and your instructions were very clear , I love your videos and look forward to what you’re planning to share with us next ❤
Yes, it looks like your channel grew very fast. It’s lovely to watch you because your are very lovely. Your delight in doing the videos is infectious. Thank you for making this video. When I was a young teen, I got stuck in an algebra class. I failed because I couldn’t imagine those invisible numbers. I did very well with practical math which included sewing and cooking. With sewing, you need geometry. With cooking, fractions. I can also do percentages because I needed to calculate sale prices. Watching you create the soft pages, I recalled the fun of sewing geometry. I could also imagine the feel of muslin (US for UK calico). I think you must of washed it, because it looked very soft. Anyway, thanks for the how-to because I needed to see how you made your stitch book. The slot and tab method is genius, and is another thing I’ll have to research. You are a fabulous teacher. Thank you!💕
Thank you so much Mara. It's amazing how maths is in everything and yet school can make it seem so dry and boring and take all the fun out of it! We all use practical maths every day I think.... Thank you for watching my videos. I've learned lots about doing them already.
I just love your little book. And I never see people do dragons or greenmen. Just wonderful sight for our eyes. How marvelous to just look and enjoy the textures of all the pages. Great work and images. Thank you so much for sharing.
❤ Dear Marion, your youtube channel is so unique, peaceful and magical. I love all of your works and the amazing intricate details on it. You help me so much during a serious illness and bring so much happiness into my life. Your magical world is really valuable to me and makes life easier. I thank you so much 💐
I just watched all the videos you made about your stitch book. I'm so impressed with your work your attitude and your garden. I'm in the midwest in the US. I've been stitching one thing or another for many years. Just now I'm working on a needle book for my sister and have gotten many ideas from you. Sorry to make this comment so long , but I had to tell you how wonderful your dragon, bird and rose are. I love listening to you so please continue with your videos.
I’m watching this lovely video a year after you created it. In it you mention having 600 subscribers… I see you now have 18.7 thousand! Absolutely well deserved, too. How fantastic when skill, creativity, industry and sheer loveliness win out!
I had a difficult time following the details because my mind was blown and my breath taken away at the stunning pages you showed us. Wow! You’re amazing in your artistry. Thanks. ❤
Really neat. Watching with my daughter & we love it, but did get lost at 12 min in. I just learn differently so I will watch again to understand better. Lol. Love soft books and tactile stitching. Good job and thank you.

I've been wanting to make a sampler book for a long time, but could never work out how to put it together. Thank you for sharing such clear and helpful instructions. I live in Saint Louis, Missouri and have finally decided with our help what project to take on for the Winter season. I can picture myself hunkering down with a cup of hot tea and doing this slow stitching. Thank you. I will check out your video library and look forward to your next video.
Thank you Marion for your lovely video. I am looking forward to making my stitch journal now. Your inspiration is ace, and I love walking with you around your magical garden. Thank you once again take care xx❤
Your book is exquisite Marion, so so clever! I love the dragon embroidered. My youngest grandson would covet that I’m sure 😊 thank you for the tutorial ☺️💕
Hi Marion, thank you for this very informative and exciting video. I loved seeing not only how you put your beautiful book together but also how you made each page from calico. I can't wait until you start the stitch along with your next book as I would love to join in. Should I make my calico book in readiness? The raven is so pretty too. You certainly keep yourself very busy. I had to laugh as in one section of your video I could hear the birds singing outside your room. At first, I thought they were at my place, so I looked out my window and I couldn't see anything then I took my laptop to the window and paused the video and realised they were coming from your video hahaha. I love everything about your videos, especially your gratitude to us all. See you on the next video 🌷
It's a male blackbird Mara... There's a nest in the garden and he comes and sings on the wall of my yard. He's gradually coming closer to me and I'm hoping he'll take food from me eventually!
Hello Helen, Don't make the pages yet. I'll explain more in a pre book video maybe next week. That male blackbird is so loud! He is getting semi-tame. He comes and sings on the yard wall when I'm outside and has come with his chick for seed to within about 2 feet of me when I'm sewing outside. I talk to him now in the hopes he'll get used to me and maybe take seed from my hand eventually... Work room next!
Marion you are a delight to watch, and that book of yours, well it's just beautiful. The raven is looking good, bit of a punk rock thing with the needle in his head lol.
A very interesting way of putting a book together. Such a hand-stitched book is always unique but yours is especially beautiful Marion. Looking forward to seeing your stitching room/space. Definitely wouldn't show mine😂
Mine definitely goes through phases of tidiness and utter chaos! I try to tidy everything away in between projects so I start fresh again. It doesn't always work though 😊

Another straight forward tutorial on the method and embroidery is a very relaxing pastime and looks well presented in book form. I just need to brush up on my embroidery and find out my threads. That is a very unique way to put a fabric book together. I love it! I saved this video in my library so I could watch it again and again. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe. Hugs ❤

It was a lovely moment when it all was a book for the first time!
Hello Marion, Ive not tried the tab and slot method of handmade books. Good idea. Another straight forward tutorial on the method and embroidery is a very relaxing pastime and looks well presented in book form. I just need to brush up on my embroidery and find out my threads. Looking forward to what you are going to do for your new book. xx
I hadn't even heard of a fabric book. So it's the only method I've done. It will be interesting to explore new ideas too, even though it is a very satisfying way to put the pages together.
