As someone coming from the Warhammer/Games Workshop side of things I am enjoying your videos. It's interesting to see familiar tools & techniques applied in the unfamiliar world of Gunpla. If I can offer a tip, you may already be aware of... when you're trying to use Citadel shades over a large flat panel, it can help to use a brush with a flat bristle arrangement instead of pointed. And slow, deliberate strokes. It will leave a lot less in the way of pooling on the surface, more of an even tint (while still collecting in the recess the brush goes over). You could then apply more layers to build the depth, as opposed to the Shade going where it wants for lack of a recess to run into. It is hard to get Shades to do what you want on panels that size, and for what it's worth I think you did a good job in a challenging situation.
I’d really like to see the speed paints used on something like an RG inner frame. The higher level of detail could provide some interesting final product. Perhaps for something like the Astray kits they have the colored inner frame.
i think because you already apply in dark black grey drybrush layers, speed paint too thin for this one to make it appealing . Maybe try continue drybrushing technique
Thanks for the feedback! Using speedpaints was certainly not the original plan for this but I wanted to see how it would turn out so I did it still hahaha
Vallejo Paints tend to be overpriced at Laz/Sh so I don’t recommend buying there. If we have to buy, we get them from Deovir and Neutral Grounds, unfortunately, sometimes they’re low in stock too. Most of the Vallejo products we have, are directly from Vallejo sent to us.
It’s very pleasing to see a gunpla painted with a brush!
Thanks for watching!

Awesome thanks for the tip! I will definitely try with a flat brush next time, maybe Citadel shades will have mercy on me when I do 😆
The red had a shockingly good result!
Darker colors are easier to work with!
Awesome work!!
Thank you so much 😀

I think that would yield better results. Speed paints works great on detailed parts with lots of dips and recesses like inner frames.

Very Nice.
Thanks
Just for adding small detail to my hg vidars inner frame should i use acrylic color directly on it?
Sure you can but it would be more durable if you apply primer first.
@@NicoSuratos well primers are not available in my area and cost a lot online so I asked
Where do you get your supply of Vallejo Mecha colours? 😢 Im looking at Lazada/Shopee but the colours that I want are sold out.
