      Started The cult of gunfighter running ecruptor,senator and ac+EAT so thats what i did. Tho the buffet blitzer is pretty nice

    Just started to use this with a flamethrower last night and I think I finally found my most fun build against bugs. After a month fighting bots I got lost seeking a fun bug build. I was just running shield but from what you're showing here it looks like I can happily run my favorite backpack (jump pack) instead. For what it's worth, love seeing your videos pop up again. They were my favorite HD2 videos in the early weeks. Also AMR jump pack builds on bots is the most fun I have in the whole game. Your builds are my style!

      Jump pack is better against bug because nothing shoots you from afar like bots and you can use it frequently

      I really d'like to combo blitzer with flamethrower (put a flame and then pull back enemies into that flame ^^ )
      but i'm playing on steam deck and i will be almost never a host for a game (don't like to play solo) so I'm waiting for fixing a bug when dot dmg is applied only by host. Then a blizter + flamethrower will be super efficent close combat area deny specialist!
      btw. also I'm runing blitzer from realise of cutting edge and i think that weapon is phenomenal even before buff!
      For now i mostly tunning it with autocannon +3x offensive strategem or +2 off +1 turret (autocannon or tesla to cover even more space!)

      @@daiwang8111it has its advantages for both factions. Bugs you can run away farther and position in “god spots” easily
      For bots it has less opportunity costs from the shield pack (less slows, bigger hitbox is a larger factor) and guard dog (they only engage at close ranges and aren’t very accurate for headshots) and you can enter and exit bot outposts easily and flank from unexpected angles

    I can't express enough how much the "fire from the hip" tip helped me. I tried the blitzer the other day after I saw it had been buffed, and walked away from the experience thinking it was still garbage since my shots were only hitting 1, maybe 2 targets even while I was getting swarmed. I thought everyone who was hyping it up was crazy. I tried again tonight with the hip fire tip and my opinion turned completely around. I love it now, and am considering replacing the incendiary breaker as my standard terminid primary. The breaker still does more short term DPS against massive hordes, but has less stagger and you're always worried in the back of your mind about depleting your ammo too quickly with it. Pair the blitzer with a guard dog and quasar, and the loadout works so well against all enemy types that you can pretty much choose whatever the heck you want for the last 2 stratagems which opens up all sorts of creative fun on its own.

      Yea but incendiary breaker got buffed with fixed DoT and u just graze hunter he dies from DoT....noticed i clear hunter packs in 3-4 shots in linear aiming to pack....just 1-2 pellet to stick is enough

      ​@@beastadin4474They do different things. Breaker incendiary is really good and just mowing down loads of trash with a bit more focus needed against more armored targets. Kills bile spewers super slowly and mag dumping a stalker does fuck all.
      Blitzer is worse against the small trash and hunters but it sure is great at destroying the more armored targets like brood commanders and hive guards and interrupts bile spewers and stalkers making them much easier to deal with. Typically though most of my deaths come from lack of being able to hit bile spewers in groups because the electricity likes to jump to the annoying trash.

      If you want to completely delete friendships and prefer to play solo, guard Dog and blitzer are defo the way to be successfull in this regard :,D

    This is how I've been using it since it's launch, it's a fantastic kiting and space creating weapon. With the amount of wide crowd control this thing outputs, it doesn't matter if TTK is low when my whole squad gets to do whatever they want behind me.
    I think my first post on this weapon said "If you ADS you're feeding" as well. Bit of hyperbole, but I was trying to emphasize the run and gun nature of the weapon.

      The problem for it as a main weapon is of course range. I really just don't see this as a viable defense vs hunters. Hunters have to be dealt with swiftly preferably before they jump and eat half or more of your health. That really requires the laser guard dog and any reasonable primary other than this. In my mind, the only purpose of it is a close range backup weapon while using the arc thrower but that is only useful on bots and you are rarely face hugging bots.
      Don't get me wrong, play what you enjoy and if you can smoke hell dives with it, amazing. Id just rather not give hunters a chance to nip at my heels before swatting them.
      Is it hyper mobile? yep...Does that make up for the 5m range? nope.

      @@robertmorrison107 just got done running this and I’ve never had less trouble out of hunters man. Try it. It absolutely destroys them. Sure they get close but the insane stagger and ability to hit multiple hunters at once plus a pretty fast ttk. It’s honestly the best gun I’ve used for them this patch.

    Once I realized that you had to hip fire for it to actually arc out, my eyes were opened and this is probably my go-to bug primary. Personally I like to run the laser cannon with it just so i can attack from range as well and go for some of the beefier targets that aren't heavies for flexibility

    One thing to mention with EATs is that you can pretty consistently can throw the Stratagem directly onto heavy units and kill them with that. It really is a 3 shot Stratagem considering that, making it even better vs. the Quasar aswell as opening up the slot to an additional support weapon during general fighting.
    Edit: not a fan of the Jetpack, but that is due to me having a conflict with key bindings and not being able to use the backpack key for activation

    Thanks for the shoutout mate! Blitz + Rover is a game changer, even pre-buff. You can wrangle all the lights and mediums and allow teammmates to snipe the heavies. Just...*chef's kiss*

      I carry the quasar for the heavies. Blitz can stun/ push back the crowd, giving you just enough time to create enough distance to get a full charge to one shot a charger in the face. Carry the grenade pistol to close bug holes quickly and from a distance once you get the arc right. I play bug missions like Mel Gibson in the Patriot. Hit, run, repeat. Can complete blitz missions solo fairly quickly even with side objectives like Radar and SEAF Artillery eating up valuable time.

    I prefer the expendable anti tank just because it has a minute cool down so you can afford to pick up a support weapon that spawns on the map (like the anti material rifle, a grenade luncher, railgun, ext..) effectively giving you 2 support weapons, just call in the anti tank when dealing with chargers and biles

    Been using blitzer, jump jet, flamethrower, stun grenades, and any pistol is sufficient. Light armor. Its been a lot of fun for me, a LOT of fun.

    I run blitzer and recoilless on high diff, it allows you to prioritize heavy enemies without needing to worry about getting swarmed when allies aren't around. Most of the time when I'm running this load I'll spend my remaining three slots on pure orbitals, specifically the railcannon, laser and gatling/airburst. The stratagems don't require much precision so you can just toss em and go back to doing your thing much quicker.

    I don't think this build is a guardian / crowd clearer as much as a scout. Between the light armor, the jump pack and the blitzers stagger without reload time you are basically untouchable and can often push the terminal objective, pick up samples and destroy nests during a fight. Especially with the light engineering kit armor I often find myself completing the objective and getting all samples without ever needing to clear the army of bugs. I'm just constantly followed by an army and I'm fine with that.

    Love the blitzer, it's very effective on bots too as long as u have the stims to get close. It stun locks all devestators and chicken walkers allowing u to relax a bit and deal with the chaff. And not having to worry about reloading or ammo is always a good tactic. Just b mindful of the terrain and objects around you as it can block shots, my tactic is to dive sideways or forward whilst taking the shot I find the spread much more effective.

    A very important Quasar pro-tip from frequent user: When you're spinning it up, you can actually release mouse button and it starts spinning down, but it's not instanteous, so after beginning the spinning up, you can tap your mouse button to keep edging the quasar until you want to shoot it - be it waiting for titan to stop spewing or for bot drop to arrive, or taking time for charger to turn around to face you head on. Makes the spin-up time count much less when you get used to this method because as long as you have some free space without chaff hitting you, you can wait for opportune moment to shoot when you'll do the most damage.

    I will also say Gas is entirely underrated, it shreds bots and bugs both, especially if they call a bug breach I call in gas on the breach and just ignore it cause it will kill most anything the second they come out the breach and the big bois it takes just 2-3 ticks of the gas dmg and done.

      I slept on gas for far too long. Totally agreed, it's a fantastic bug breach countermeasure. Lands a little off-target sometimes but as long as it's well-centered, you can rack up kill combos into the thirties easily.

    6:10 this might actually be a build where taking the railgun is a legitimate choice, it covers your weaknesses against spewers at range(with good aim), chargers, and hiveguards while having the ammo econ especially with the t4 sup weapon upgrade to keep you running, + you can just bring ops or 500k to cover anti titan depending on personal preference.. (I am a certified railcannon hater until it's cooldown gets reduced by a minute)
    9:05 grenade psutol one shots charger legs after theybe taken 2 railgun shots, can't confirm if it bounces after one shot or if it connects and does damage, and i need to check thiccs discord for its effectiveness agaisnt Titans
    11:05(?) cluster can and has spawnkilled titans for me, you just have to throw it super early on a breach so it lands while the bile titan is super close to the ground, havent tested if this also works the same way vs chargers
    11:45 orbital precision on top! With that out of the way a railcannon to a desaced titan is a one shot yes
    Anyway solid video, i find it amusing that the only clip from the games I was in was when you clustered the breach and told me to run for the hills, ggs and good luck getting the algorithm to cooperate.

    I’m new to the Blitzer but I love that weapon. I always go in with blitzer, grenade pistol, recoilless rifle, 10mm Rocket Pods, orbital railgun, and either the air strike or cluster bombs. I’ve had a blast but I’m intrigued by the jump pack options now for sure. Great video!

    The faster you are travelling the further you will go with your jet pack, so using lighter armour is very useful with the jet pack.

    The reason hip-firing seems to give a bigger spread is because ADSing actually changes the point of origin for the weapon firing. The way the blitzer works is that each bolt automatically seeks to the closest head to point of origin. When you aim, that moves that point of origin forward a little bit (I think somewhere around a meter), and aiming down the sights in first person moves it even further. Hipfiring puts the point of origin right at the weapon itself.

    Another tip for the Blitzer
    If you fire from the hip, you can melee in-between shots. Super usefull when beserkers/hunter are up in your grill.

    Experience with the blitzer is crucial, to know what targets to prio and switching between hipfire for hordes and aim for taking out prio targets like a broodmother/warrior or stalker/hunter/pouncer. Apart from that its all about spatial awareness and being in the right spot at the right time, you are your teams support and frontline CC.
    I usually pair it with recoiless if i dont need the backpack, if i do pick a backpack i usually like the shield or jump depending on what my teammates are bringing combined with a flamethrower, rover will just attract to much enemy aggro and activate random patrols(aswell as add random team damage which is a real possibility already with the blitzer).

    Grenades in general are good against broken Bile Titan armor.
    If your Railcannon shot breaks the back open of a Bile but just does not kill him - one Impact grenade usually finishes it off.

    can you share your 'visual' settings from the options menu?? I always notice your videos look way better than anyone else's. Especially the footage from when you'r playing at night. The electricity arcs and explosions look super vivid.

      Yo! Ironically, I was struck with loads of driver issues at launch causing my PC to hard crash and lock up - a nightmare streaming let me tell you! As a result, I've had to really tone back the settings. Everything is around medium with rendering at native. It's like the OBS settings I'm recording at that is making it look sharper maybe?

    I just found this video but I've been using pretty much the same build for about a week now. But instead of the jetpack I use the laser rover, which is a huge help for managing big crowds of bugs alone. It's also pretty good for taking out shriekers.

    A great tip: Use the bushwacker with the blitzer. If you switch to your pistol right after shooting with the blitzer, it will be ready when you switch back to it after letting off a shotgun blast. This has absolutely INSANE dps and can get you out of sticky situations with easy.

    Unfortunately no one can tell when you’re doing well cuz it always looks like you’re about to be swarmed.
    Quite a few times now a Eruptor user “helped” me my shooting a Stalker or Spewer that was already a corpse… which turned me into a corpse.
    Needless to say, I now mainly run explosive resistance armor with the Blitzer in quick play.

    I absolutely LOVE the blitzer. The best back pack for it is the 500kg bomb back pack (holds 2, its great.) Used this weapon for about 25 hours of playing. This weapon has built in aim bot. Made to be shot from the hip. It hits faces automatically. Run and gun are Blitzers Dad & Mom, and the Blitzer is the love child they created. Be aggressive as possibly. Be on point. Lead the way. You can stagger spewers from spitting, making them just like big slow scavs. It will push everything back other than chargers and titans. When you retreat, just do it perpendicular to your targets, but stay on them shooting anytime its charged and ready. Just have to shoot somewhat near target, but its designed to shoot while on the move. Recoiless is what i use for support. Have 3 open slots, and already can handle everything the bugs can throw at you.
    With this set up its easier to not bring stuns. Stuns + quasar is nice, but impact fire grenades + recoiless are better. Instant charger death relieves the need for stun nades.

    2 Grenade Pistol shots also kill bile spewers, which is a big weakness of the Blitzer.

    My loadout I've shown a few players on super helldive, is as follows. Everyone loves it.
    Primary: Blitzer (or breaker Incindiary)
    Secondary: whatever you like
    Grenade: Stun (for chargers and stalkers)
    Armor: light medic armor (fast enough to outmaneuver massive hords. I've been running towards the enemie head on, running between them and dodging their swipes by tapping left of right and having perfect movement. Really comes in handy on Diff 10)
    Stratagems:
    *1) 500KG Bomb for Titans and Impalers*
    *2) orbital Gatling barrage. *
    You can use it every 60 seconds, and it lasts forever. If you stun a charger and throw it on him it can damage him.
    *3) supply backpack*
    Nearly unlimited Stims, just use one, whenever you take damage.
    In combination with the armor and the Experimental infusion booster the Stim effect lasts a very long time, the invincibility comes in handy when you can spam them. Once had 47 stims in one game.
    *4) Grenade Launcher.*
    The weapon the supply backpack is mainly for, just hit their butt 4 times, and they bleed out. Use movement and/or Stun grenades. If you're good, you can even shoot below the charger so the grenade bounces back up at his Belly or damages his behind.
    Use for hord clear, bug holes and even finishing off bile titans. Deals amazing damage against Impalers.
    Might have to make my own video about the loadout. Just give it a try and let me know how you're doing.
    It is perfectly balanced, as you can deal with nearly every enemy type, I usually score 1st or 2nd place regarding kills, least deaths pretty much always.
    Weakness:

    I main Arc thrower,jetpack,EAT and railcannon with eruptor.
    I tried the blitzer while it does kill hunters and unarmored bugs easily, anything in medium its still *Insert Spongebob 10 hours later meme* when it comes to anything with medium armor.
    I feel like Arc thrower is the obvious better version and the eruptor fills your support weapon role.
    Eruptor and Arc thrower with jetpack allows you to be a skirmisher, handle small crowds and stay on the move, Eruptor handles any medium armor with 1 tap from a distance and if things get nasty, drop a EAT rocket down for chargers or railcannon a Bile titan.
    Ive bounced all over with weapons, Dominator was the original weapon i mained because it punched holes in anything but now the Eruptor does.
    If you guys seen the devs talking, the Eruptor is about to get a huge bump too. Talks of removing its shrapnel but significantly increasing its damage to make up for it while still being able to take out holes and fabs.

      this is the slept on combo IMO. So many people run stalwart or MG with eruptor, but those don't kill the the heavies the eruptor struggles with, whereas the arc thrower can and can kill multiple chaff units per shot. Maybe not AS fast as a stalwart but certainly fast enough. I'm struggling a little with this build on bugs due to how close they get and tend to like having something like sickle to clear stuff out close range, and it is still good at longer ranges and shooting eggs and stuff.
      I love this setup vs bots tho, and usually run it with shield so I can be more aggressive vs devastators and such, though jetpack gets you high ground eruptor sniping positions which can be really powerful. I love this combo cause you can one or two shot bigger bots at range, chain kill light and even medium bots in crowds while stunlocking them, and the arc thrower even kills hulks, and can kill multiple at once while keeping them stunlocked the entire time. With stun grenades you can wipe entire bot drops without anything even getting a shot off. Redeemer or even buffed dagger is good for small stuff when you don't have your arc thrower. On bots I usually run eagle aistrike and railcannon. Stun grenades make airstrikes really strong as bots drop in tight clusters. It's also great vs striders. Railcannon is for towers and tanks. The only thing you struggle with are gunships, if they are on the mission.

      This is how I play against bots! Love it! Unfortunately, you can't stun Hulks anymore with the new balance patch. I also sometimes use this with relay shield and use terrain and the shield to create a sort of extended cover scenario where you can jiggle peak and take down hordes of heavies! Thank you both for the great comments - love reading stuff like this as it gives me more ideas and I think it's awesome to hear other people's opinion and how they play!

      @@DavidSmith-mt7tbfor the units that close the gap use your melee to get a bit of breathing room and instantly shoot after (this helps immensely with hunters by putting them right in blitz’s kill range.) If it’s too crowded get your stim off and dive away. Worst case scenario you take everything out with you with a grenade or an airstrike. I will say though if bugs are too close to use blitzer (because arc weapons suck at point blank for some reason…) you’re definitely too close to use eruptor.

    Yep pairing it with a jet pack makes me feel like the Dark Troopers from Star Wars Battlefront 2 classic, I always bring my Tesla shotgun for close encounters.

    I’ve anecdotally had a surprising amount of success with grenade pistol, mainly in targeting broken armor or the backside. Won’t usually kill it on my own like that but with two divers, putting in some shots with the pistol does seem to noticeably speed ttk on chargers.

    I actually likes the blitzer before the buff but I did see it's weaknesses. The buff really made it great.
    Something to note about the expendable antitabk that few people ever talk about. The calldown itself is a weapon. You can lay serious hurt on a charger by dropping an EAT on it. You can use it to close bugholes too in a pinch

    Been playing around with this "shock trooper" build. It is super viable compared to before, and honestly I like it more rather than arc+jumppack. I like to use it with grenade pistol, stun and EAT. Also, if you wanna focus on crowd control, it also rocks with grenade luncher+gatling or cluster airstrike.

    I've used this gun exclusively for bugs since it came out.
    When you ADS in first person mode; it does perfect and deadly headshots against very big enemies; and you just gotta get used to the rhythm of it firing and charging, and once you master it's range, you can basically FPS walk and kill stuff, and once they get too close, to go third person, run away while AOE'ing the smaller stuff(beetles, death bunnies, etc); then continue with the FPS focused firing of bigger targets.
    I use it with the personal shield gen and the Quasar, and I keep the uzi pistol as my secondary for mandatory "ohshit" spray/pray of quick slaughter for stalkers or if I get something right up on me(death bunny swarmed, etc).
    The upside of course is the infinite ammo and if you're good with it, you'll never kill a team mate(and they should know never to cross your front if you're blapping against the swarm). This gun goes well with a supply backpack and the flamethrower aswell; the supply backpack feeds you grenades(your choosing, but I like napalm or impact grenades) and plenty of fuel tanks.
    I'm not sure why this gun got so much hate, but it's been my staple for so long against bugs it's actually hard for me to want to use anything else; I started using it after they neutered the Slugger.

      Next up: Using that nifty new 'air burst' rocket launcher as a defacto nest/base/swarm clearer on ground level.
      If you're really good with it, you can launch the rockets so your friends get the explodey singe of fireworks around them; but not quite killing them from the explodey singe of fireworks.(I've done this numerous times when friends are being chased by swarms/packs, it definitely 'thins the herd' at ground level and makes taking down much bigger enemies far easier once all the little nasties are removed enmasse.)

    I can confirm it does work with the flamer, but you need to do the windup for the flamethrower BEFORE jumping. if you try to windup after jumping it just never works, but if you start your windup and while winding up execute your jump you have decent control of your aim

    I notice there's a bug with the Blitzer that affects the Spear too, i see my lighting blasts launch at foliage and dead bodies. This is probably why the Spear has lock-on issues because it picks up foliage and other objects as an entity thus unable to lock on to intended targets.

    one tip for the orbital railcannon: One strike from it and a single well placed impact to the belly of a BT will kill it. Not sure if the grenade pistol will do the same though

    Since the headshot armor change, padded medium has been doing good work for me against hunters. Might have to get that padded heavy when it comes around in the store again just to see how that does verse headshots, but that heavy movement though...

    Blitzer/medic has been my go to build since the patch. I regularly double my teammates kill count. EAT and orbital for heavy’s, rover cleanup. Almost hit 700 kills on hell dive last night.

    Bile spewers cook and zap with two to three headshots provided you dive on the second zap when they throw up. You’ll know they’re dead when the crosshairs glow red after breaking their armor on the previous zap

    laser canon or flamethrower can also be used. For flamethrower, just focus on a charger leg and it's dead in secs, for canon you just bait a charge and focus a leg after, as a missed charge lowers armor for a bit. Would be a good idea to still run EAT though, for titans.
    I used to run laser canon, EAT, eagle cluster and jet pack before, but after DoT fix, I've actually liked napalm and gas a lot for breaches.

    confirmed the grenade pistol can take down chargers when aiming for the explosions to contact the underside. It can also take down bile titans however the armor must be stripped first. Guard dog rover, quasar, blitzer, grenade pistol, napalm and eagle strike is a great bug clearing loadout for HD9. I prefer light armor for greater stamina and currently using the titan light armor for the extra grenades. We need a medic light armor.

    Yes, a direct hit with a grenade pistol to a broken armor piece will kill a charger. And if you hit them on the lower half of a broken leg, there's a good chance it'll send the corpse into orbit as well.
    I'm not sure if it will kill a bile titan with broken armor, but I would assume it will in 1-2 shots as the eruptor definitely can.

    I've been using this weapon since release on bugs. The utility plus fairly high damage is amazing. If you pair with guard dog you become a one man chaff killing army. No stratagems necessary for anything smaller than a charger.

    On a different note separate from the blitzer and more on the eagle cluster, I tend to find myself using them in a very "Nam"-ish way. If I'm on a jungle planet, sure the trees give cover and obstacles for enemies, but they're also obstacles for me and it's freaky when bots or bugs just come flying out of foliage. Eagle cluster is the best deforesting stratagem out there. It's not the most thorough, but square feet/meters per deployment, it's better than anything else we got. I usually will clear out the area around the evac zone, as I play solo. But if I ever open my game up for anyone to join, don't be surprised if you find a clear cut road through the jungle. That's just me clustering my path out because I hate fighting terminids/automatons AND foliage at the same time.
    But the blitzer is under appreciated and I believe the misfiring, minimum and maximum range hurt it the most. The fact that enemies can get close enough that the gun won't actually arc is really dumb. The fact that the arcs won't reach flying enemies is also dumb. The fact that the gun will just sometimes dud out and not hit anything in an open field, no corpses around, and a target rich environment is inexcusable. I'm not asking for the world or an OP lighting shotty. What I'm asking for is what Arrowhead is claiming. They're saying everything needs to be like a "side-grade" to the weapons in play rather than a strict upgrade. Having a weapon that literally can't reach and sometimes just doesn't work is not a side-grade. It's a mistake and while the blitzer is a niche weapon, it needs this basic TLC to take it out of the "specialist" region and make it openly viable. Again, Arrowhead wanted "Horizontal Balancing" and making things feel like "side-grades" to what they already have. The current blitzer does not feel like a side-grade to what other guns can do. None of the guns feel like a strictly "side-grade" to the Liberator to be honest. They need to dump that mentality and go with what's fun first.

    You can turn it on in the accessibility options, a long with a different colour (I prefer yellow) and high-contrast for extra clearness.
    You don't confuse the impact marker and the sights if you have a different colour.

    Blitzer + butcher (heavy stim armor) = tank role. I run mine with grenade pistol (for objectives), eagle air, orbital rail, orbital precision, and spear (it’s actually VERY effective IF you can lock on.) Tip for dealing with hordes of hunters: punch them to get a tiny bit of separation then immediately blast them with blitz.

    notably I have has instances of the Blitzer when I ADS into first person on a Brood Commander and it blows their head up in a single shot, so while being fully not ADS'd widens the spread it seems like first person can focus it and completely nuke a single target. Wouldn't recommend it too often but if there's a single Brood leftover that you wanna mop up quick it's handy.

    With my current playgroup I use a similiar loadout. Blitzer, Laserdog, flamethrower, grenade pistol and stun gs. I'm the CC guy against bugs, while my team usually brings the anti armor.

    My problem with the blitzer, hunters seem to not be harmed if they jump at you. It's like the damage does not connect with them andnI usually get stunned when swapping to sidearm.

    I'm gonna have to try this shotgun on bugs. I tend to use incendiary breaker on bugs. I could see this working well too. It would be hard to give up on my Scorcher vs bots though.
    I prefer the EATs because you don't get in a situation where you have to stop winding up (making it useless time loss) or miss a quality shot opportunity because the wind-up took too long.
    But more importantly... I spam them. Anywhere a fight is likely, or is unfolding, I put EATs _everywhere_ and I'm perfectly happy for someone else to grab one and use it. Got someone on team who took flamethrower or GL for crowd control? They can grab an eats, shoot a bile titan or tank, etc. and pick up their CC weapon again, in about a second. But the key is to spam the EATs call-in. And keep throwing them forward of the direction your squad is pushing, so that they're ready & waiting for use. Spam them _almost_ on cooldown rotation, and throw them where your squad _will_ be, not where you _are_ Also, they hit Hard. The lack of spin-up really shines on bot dropships though.
    I hear the recoilless is kinda interesting now too.
    I'm quite a fan of the supply backpack with the medic armor. if you hog the whole backpack, that's 30 stims, or 36 if you leverage supply pickups right. And they work more or less like "Invul Mushrooms". This tends to favor the grenade launcher as support weapon, as it's potent, but an ammo-piggie. I have on occasion used both GL and EATs both at the same time. GL as main support W, and EATS on spam for anyone/everyone to use. Flamethrower is fun, but GL tends to do most of the same things, but with range.
    It's worth noting that a 4-strat loadout (no backpacks or support) can be pretty potent too. Cluster, 500kg, Railgun, Laser = nothing's ever on CD really.... but it's most effective with good code-fu.

    I’ve been running blitzer since buff patch and seeing myself run with guard dog, impact nades, and nade launcher. I do railcannon for bt and chargers and eagle airstrike so I can do all things needed. Never see myself getting overrun. Nade launcher for the holes and weakened bts not 1shotted by the rail strat. I agree about the hip fire on it and do the little run back and hip fire combo so they never catch up to me. Overall loving the buff to it.

    my loadout against bugs is personal shield, art blitzer, arc thrower, 500 kg and EAT. this allows to eliminate all bug threat. EAT for chargers / titans, spore/flying nests, arc thrower against moire armored targets / spewers, 500 kg jet out of jail free card. arc blitzer is great against shriekers - if timed it is a one-shot on a diving enemy

    I find the arc thrower to be a much better pairing with the blitzer than eat or quasar it can kill chargers (although much slower) while still providing crowd control and can even kill bile titans with some patience

      I personally think the blitzer is better than the AT against bugs and the AT is better than the Blitzer against bots! Using the blitzer against bugs opens that backpack slot up to be either a RR, QC, Spear, AC or EAT to deal with chargers /biles effectively. It provides more balance imo!

    I've been using a similar loadout for a few weeks now and it's been effective on every bug mission. Blitzer and quasar cannon, lazer Rover, impact grenade, with 120 mm and 500 kg. The 120 does well against stationary targets and occasionally bile titans, and, if smartly done, the 500 kg takes out bile titans and the occasional solitary bug hole. I was still up in the air regarding the secondary. With this setup, I routinely get anywhere 200-400 kills on Hard+. Blitzer is kind of OP for bugs but just about everything else is trash, imo. Another option would be to use the Arc Thrower as "primary", but I believe it has less "control" than the Blitzer.

    I run an anti-heavy load out. Almost every time. Orb Railcannon, 500Kg, Rocket pods, and Quasar. Grenade pistol for holes, and blitzer for mobs. Blitzer is great for the stagger, and the 5shot aimbot.
    ADSing the blitzer gives you a slightly tighter spread, which are still aimbot-ed, but it’s aimbot-ed anyway so there’s no need to ADS.

    If you railcannon a bile titan a couple grenade pistol shots on the sacks kills it. Its very good for that, its also great to quickdraw when a commander soawns warriors underneath it.

    I can't get the jump pack to work! Every time I hit the space bar, the character dives to the ground! Am I doing something wrong? Yes, I am a PC player.

      Sounds like your keybindings are off perhaps? Dive to the floor for me is Alt?

    One shit to a broken charger leg with the grenade pistol is legit. I've been basically running this same loadout except I've been using the laser guard dog.
    The grenade pistol will also finish up titans fairly easily. Aim for the top right shoulder. Or wherever the armor is missing.

    It is nice they buffed the blitzer but I am a punisher plasma enjoyer myself. Blitzer has an issue that you can not use it to help a teammate that got engaged by bugs in a melee because it it guaranteed to hit and kill the teammate as well. Regarding the railcannnon and desacking interaction: "desacking" the bile titan immediately removes 50% of it's HP meaning that railcannon strike is guaranteed to be a 1 hit kill.
