in poe1 "snipe" is sort of a support gem that allows you to channel any bow skill to make them deal more dmg after channeling it for longer. is this also the case for poe2 or is snipe a skill on it own? for example could i use snipe with lightning arrow to turn lightning arrow into a channeling skill?

Neither of the witch ascendancies at early access seem to work with minions though.

I just started tutorial of POE and in 20 min I got a headache and went back to D4…Omgoodness POE isn’t even 1/100th as good

Tornado shot absorbs a projectile and shoots it out 3 times, so multiple projectiles or 3+ tornado shots absorbing ROA could potentially shoot out 9 ROAs

I'm soo gonna main the merc, D4 ranged rogue sucks hard, and d4 as a whole

I have one bloodlust sword . I also have 2 of the early game fire axes alot of people recommend. Should I use one axe and bloodless sword or use both axes ?

So I think the crossbow is awesome and I’m really liking the gem legion ascendency. I’m new to the game. Can someone explain the extra gem slots that it receives and how the ascendency is going to work? What I’ve gathered is the gems are what you slot into your abilities to change how they work. So base is 3 and gem legion could get 6? Sounds kind of insane. I was wanting to do a melee build as gem legion. Is that possible?

i think ballistas with ranger.. but i dont know how.. most like cold habilties but ballistas with added fired damage also gas o poisoning option..

I’m playing PoE 1 for the first time and I’m maining Witch. It’s like Diablo Necromancer only its actually awesome. Undead minions, Skelly Archers, Frost bombs, Holy Fire, and my D3 Corpse Explosions. It’s effin great.

Will do him after Witch. Heard he is really weak until lvl 10 or so... so take it ez in the beginning

The witch reminds me if guild wars 1 necro. Lots of skeletons and debuffs. Guild wars 2 nerfed necro

I really hope that one of the classes is a Falconeer. I always like Falconeers IRL, I played pre-rework Quinn in LoL, and I enjoyed Falconeer in Last Epoche.

The fact you can use wasd to move around will make merc the most fun class to play imo.

People need to remember the items and SKILLS ARE NOT CLASS LOCKED!! You can use any skill on any class in the game. The only point for the class is the ascendancie. Its just really strong nodes. But you might actually want to go socr with a bow. To spread and deal stronger element damage.

I can see the allure of the ranger, but I think I'll stick to merc... The mounted combat seems like a potential selling point though

The poison cloud/vine arrows look pretty good, otherwise I might lean towards the merc with the auto fire and grenades. Hard to say 🙂
