  • In this video I will share with you how I make my own printable, alphabet flashcards, using Canva. I will be making sample flashcards before thinking of sending them of for major printing or production.
    I will be using my own alphabets A, B, and C digital illustrations flashcards. I like the hand drawn look. In Canva I show you how I choose and select from all kinds of templates.
    I will then take you within Affinity Photo, an alternative to Adobe Photoshop. I just choose this method of making printable flashcards. However, you can just print from pdf software. I print on Extra Heavy Thick Cardstock, I purchased from Hobby Lobby.
    After printing illustration alphabet flashcards. I use a paper cutter and paper/cardstock corner cutter. Sometimes used for scrapbooking. These you can purchase from Michael's and or Hobby Lobby or other craft stores in your area. Check out my last step as I show you my finished home-made flashcards.
    Thank you for watching how I make printable flashcards using Canva.

    I can’t find any tutorials for actual flash cards which have the answer on the other side. All the tutorials show the picture and words on the same side or all the information on one side but this isn’t really how flash cards work.

      I apologize, I will work on this in future. To show how I make flashcards using both sides. I decided to keep my language flashcards simple using one side and cultural pattern on other side.

    How were you able to make your illustrations digital?

    • @jennychamorrita
      @jennychamorrita  Год назад

      Hello Nala, I create my digital illustrations using an iPad Pro and drawing app called Procreate App. From the Procreate drawing app I then upload my finished illustrations to my cloud. My iPad is synced to my laptop. Then I bring it into Canva. I will try to make new video to show this process. You can still do this without an iPad by scanning your finished artwork on home printer and then upload into Canva. I hope this helps some.

    Hi! What size are these flash cards???

    • @jennychamorrita
      @jennychamorrita  Год назад

      little over 3.75" wide by little over 5"inches in height. So, it's close to 4" wide. It has to do with the frame I chose within Canva. MY goal was to print 4 per sheet. Hope this helps.
