I'm running the stock amber lights right now but I have new lights coming in and I will be doing a video on the install plus upgraded lighting on those markers as well. They should be here this week.
When I was researching for led headlights I read that anything over 3000 lumens is illegal in the USA. These low beam lights say they are in the 8000 lumens range. I could be wrong but thought I should mention it.
I Hadn't heard that. I Will have to check. I know HID bulbs are illegal but there could be a law against these. I know I have had them in for over a year and never had a issue or problem. Thanks for sharing
The biggest problem with people replacing their halogen headlight bulbs with LED Lightbulbs is they're not adjusting their headlights or they're using a cheap LED that doesn't have a good horizontal beam line, in fact, the cheap so called high wattage and high lumen headlight bulbs scatter their light beams in all directions, and sometimes, a cheaply made headlight lense/assembly's reflectors causes the light beams to scatter in all directions. I'm running the Novsight N60 100W/bulb, 20000LM/bulb, both low and high beams and I've yet to have anybody to flash their headlights at me, plus, I've recently replaced my headlight assemblies/lenses with the Nilight headlight assemblies. Every lightbulb on my 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 inside & outside are LED bulbs, my headlight bulbs are from Novsight Auto Lighting and all the other LED bulbs are from Sealight.
That's odd. I wonder if they changed the bulb design. My truck is a 06 3500 and I installed them in my sons 03 1500 also with no clearance issues. Yours being a HD shouldn't affect anything its basically a 1500 setting on a 2500 chassis. Either way the front ends are the same. Did you buy the mars auto like I installed or a different brand.
