His debt was so bad and being "fired" would have cut his income thereby not allowing him to supposedly pay it down. There was also the potential that if this hospital cut off his possible income then other hospitals would do the same. So this didn't help his financial situation, it was just a means of causing trouble for the hospital that was thinking of terminating his work there. His goal? Probably to create a lot of deaths in simple procedures to make the hospital look bad to punish them for discussing his termination of access to their patients IMO.

He started acting erratic and threatening. He then claimed he was injured in the 1MPH fender bender (which was wholly his fault) hired a lawyer. He then took a hammer and screwdriver (or some tool) to his soft bumper to turn the slight crease in his bumper to a big rip to bolster his injury insurance fraud claim. Somehting was seriously wrong with this dude, but he had an impressive resume and standing
