That ABS plastic, such a simple but clean way to step up the look and clearance off of carpet for cooling air flow. I'm definitely stealing that idea for my personal vehicle! Thanks for your content, avid watcher and bass head.
Now why is a bypass kit needed and what does it do exactly? Looks like it has LOCs, so if I have the JBL amp, I can't just use the line level inputs to that amp as my inputs to my new aftermarket amp and then wire the aftermarket amp outputs to where the outputs of the JBL amp go?
Just a question, what mode do you use if you want to also increase the volume of the rear seats speakers (you can barely hear them with the normal head unit), I see the customer wanted just the front ones through the amp
They should run quite cool. Two of the channels are running the tweeters so that's only a couple of watts at most. The other two channels are running the mids and might be 5w most of the time. If you crank the volume really high and you might see 10, 20 or 30 watts. Plus these amps where designed to be very efficient and run cool. A lot of folks mount these in the dash and have no issues with cooling. So being under the seat with all that air around it is perfect.
All parts used linked in the description of the video!

What thickness ABS is desired to mount mid sizes mono block amps to?
@@tannermiller3031 if under seats, 1/8 inch is just fine on flat surfaces. If vertical services, i'd use 1/4".
Amazing Video! Have a question. Did you put a cap to protect the Tweeter?
Hey how did you run the outputs over the heater channel? do you remove the whole carpet?

Did you use the rear speaker high level for the powered sub ? I actually have this amp and the mono version gonna install in a 2022 Corolla also
Can the factory speaker wire handle that much power?
Yes, easily.
I’m looking at this amp for my 21 mazda 6. Looking for the t harness to connect to factory unit. Any suggestions where to purchase?
Do you know if there’s a way to integrate a front end camera to that factory head unit?

You can increase the gain for the rear speakers. Just be careful as that can open up potential distortion.
