well is that a "rod " failure or a bolt issue? Who torqued them? Bolt strech gauge used? Correct bolt metallurgy used? Over rev? ........................
Another spot on episode, fantastic technical content and the deliver was really easy to follow. Thanks for making these great video, please say there’s going to be a Christmas Special 😊🍻
I'm glad he knows Tom Molnar, design has a lot to do with things and Metal composite make up too. he is only covering a small portion a lot of dumb people actually been taught over the years. Its like say ARP2000 bolt is only good to this tensile strength but now what design was that bolt again? Never mind it's beyond a lot of peoples comprehension on what makes rod bolts fail and not fail at a certain Tensile pull. Look at Factor LS rods? what Horsepower are they rated at? never mind, they are not rated😉
OK, so just about every rod manufacturer is an idiot then? OK, got it!!!
Isn't "horsepower" just torque x rpm?
Spoken like a true prodigy. 😁
I feel smarter.
I’ve seen more rod failure as a result of rod bolt stretch than from catastrophic rod failure.

...thanks for explaining why 2 strokes are superior

This series should be called how to be a Knob on the internet....
Because that's what your actually achieving.
Harmankardon 1 but he wasn’t wrong tho
"you're"
@@ajr_e46 No, he actually is wrong!!
u must sell con rods....LMFAO

Yeah, except two different rods can handle different levels of power so... you're also wrong.
