    I love your videos and have already tried many things from them (which is not always easy, since a lot of stuff is hardly, if at all, available here in Germany, especially stamp sets with big flowers).
    This, however, was exceptionally inspiring. I have never before thought of trying watercolor techniques because I'm really bad when it comes to painting. So when I tried this, I was so surprised how easy it is and how beautiful the results are, despite my lack of skill.
    I have also combined this with hot foiling (with my Cricut and the foil quill tool), which looks very pretty, because it gives this shiny accent. 😊

  • @deborahlee52
    @deborahlee52 3 года назад

    Absolutely effortless. It adds to the tranquility effect of creating the card. The one statement you make that really hits home is, “It doesn’t have to be perfect!” When you can accept that fact, you can really enjoy this craft. Thanks Jennifer for your very realistic view. After watching your videos, I always sigh and say to myself how relaxing ‘creating’ my own cards using all these different techniques makes me.

    Very striking and effective. Love how spontaneous they look and free and easy the way watercolors should look . You do things in a special way and that makes things come out great. For one you are doing them loosely and that really looks good for water colors. They fee free and easy and that's the way you did them and it shows. Free and Easy. Thanks for shoeing that it's OK to do them that way . I like water coloring when I can do them this way too. I don't like tight coloring. It makes me nervous and it shows in the end results. I like easy and fun..................pat

    Hi Jennifer. I love that word. Its the sort of word i come up with and friends call it a Wendism. Thank you for this video, I have loads of Watercolours and when i use them i make awful mistakes and they end up a Watery mess with no definition. I am going to have breakfast now then today is the day i get my water colouring right. I have bought a lot of flower stamps in the last couple of weeks so am very excited. Hugs and Luvs Wendy xxxx (Margaret is my first name but it must be a Welsh thing they call me by my second name) xxxx

    My dear Jennifer ... Water color is a medium not a style.. You ARE an artist.. and should not diminish your skills because your method may be different than others... Your results are stunning.. I think you may safely say you CAN water color with beautiful outcomes ... (This from someone with 30+ years of water color experience ... ) : ]

    Mom just gave me all her nuvos yesterday. Today she might regret it. :) I think I might try this with my water markers. Thanks for the vid.

    Thank you for sharing these beautiful cards, but more than that thank you for showing me that I don't have to be 'perfect' when I use watercolours.

    Thank you for this doing this video....I would love to start painting my stamped imagines but I don’t know where to start.
    Your examples make it seem pretty easy.
    Thanks for all the great techniques

    Thank you. When I watercolor, I use watercolor pencils and my water brush. I am not that skilled but I can fake it on the right project. They blend pretty well too. I also use them dry. I prefer them other colored pencils. The Never could get the pallet watercolors to work like I want. I'll try these techniques.
