    I 100% agree with how this movie is. It took some time getting to actually see it due to real life issues.
    "being sick is horrid". But finally getting to see it last night was grand and so was the movie itself.
    It honestly felt shorter than the previous two, but also didn't due to being 2 hours. Pretty confusing.
    Nevertheless, i was satisfied afterwards, being ultra excited for the 4th movie thanks to that metal sonic
    /amy teaser. Amy wearing a cloak may be the most badass thing i've ever seen from her.

    I can definitely agree that this was definitely the peak of the movie franchise for Sonic. Can't wait till we get sonic 4 in 2027. We are in a day and age where video game movies are more widely accepted and i cannot wait for more to come.

    I honestly had the same thoughts with this movie to i can't even think of anything bad that's in it either but I'm sure some other folks out there could
    And the fact that the flaws it has are so miniscule shows how much good they really made it and now that we know they're not stopping any time soon ( until they do reach the 7th film if the whole wanting 7 movies is true ) here's hoping they keep up the quality being consistent and to also sonic 4 managing to even top movie 3 to and along with the knuckles 2 show ( if it does become a thing ) and the shadow solo film to be great to

    Great review! I, too, say it's worthy of a practically perfect score and say it's the best video game film adaptation yet. When I went to the fan event for this movie at one of my AMCs, you should've seen how fans reacted when they heard Live & Learn playing! This movie definitely put the "fan" in "fan service" as if they knew the fans of the game was the target audience. The Sonic film franchise has had a great run so far, but I really hope Sonic Movie 4 doesn't ruin it...
    P.S. If you're wondering why Wade had under a minute of screen time in Sonic Movie 3, it's because (spoilers for the Knuckles mini-series) he had (more than) plenty of time to shine as he overshadowed Knuckles in his own show.

    What a time to be a Sonic fan. really. Sonic Movie 3, along with its 2 successful prequels, were so good enough to *BREAK* the video game movie curse. And with these 3 movies' box office financial numbers combined, it equates to 1 BILLION DOLLARS, meaning that not only these movies are a big deal, but Sonic is just literally on top of the world again! That's why the Renaissance era is the peak of Sonic.

    Hey Tony, sorry I couldn't make it onto the premere. Here are my thoughts on the movie:
    SPOILERS for those who haven't seen it.
    Sonic Movie 3 is easily the best film of the (currently) trilogy. From the action, character interaction, everything involving Shadow and Sonic's chemestry. My favorite part though, was arc involving what's bascally a love triangle between Robotnik, Gerald and Agent Stone, with Stone being saddened about the possability that Robotnik might not care about him while watching him and Gerald have fun bonding, to later seemingly be proven right when Robotnik shuts down all ties and abondons him in favor of completing what he though was his and Gerald's plan, only cor it to be revealed that Gerald never cared about him at all and was only using him, leading to Robotnik redeeming himself and making an announcment to show how much he does truly care about him in spite of all the absue he puts him though while still being egotistical and comedic self was nothing short of beutiful.
    It's unlikly to happen, but I would love to see an Agent Stone TV series which focuses on his and Robotnik's past prior to the films that shows how the two met and got to the possissons we see them in the first movie. Hey, it gives Paramount a good excuse to bring Jim Carrey back if they don't want to bring back Robotnik from the dead (which I don't think they should do) or introduce Robotnik Nega.
    Yeah, the movie is awesome. I highly recommend anyone who you haven't already. It's certenly better than watching Mufasa three times over (don't ask).

    I really loved Sonic the Hedgehog 3 ! It was great and to be honest it was flawless to me. I mean sure there will be some film cynic out there who can point out critiques in a professional way but I personally kinda don't care. Everyone can have their problems with it but doesn't mean I have to fully agree with it, I am not a critic so I am very easy to impress especially when it comes to Sonic. I don't care if you think the jokes are "bad", I found a lot of them funny especially from Sonic and I also found a lot of funny Prime Sonic jokes despite being a different character, Sonic is just a chill funny guy to me that can easily make me laugh. The point is nothing is perfect, if I didn't find anything I disliked during my experience with the project then that's an easy win for me, too bad you can't share your love towards things wothout some cynical nobody out there making a big deal and calling you "mindless fanboy" and whatever. Overall, Sonic The Hedgehog 3 easily gets a 10/10 for me the best in the trilogy and I am so hyped for movie 4. (Also, when we approach Sonic the Hedgehog 4 release, I will make sure to temporarily unsubscribe from every Sonic channel I follow so that I can go to the film fully blind without trailers, I tried to do that with 3 but whenever I shift attention to somewhere else on RUclips I always got posts about the movie from users who showed frames that I didn't want to see so I will try harder to hide spoilers of Movie 4 next time !) Goodbye ! 😊

    1:46 "the #1 movie in the world" Tyler the Creator: "so that was a f(ring loss sound)ing lie."
    5:14 whoa whoa whoa 5 points?! Before, you said 3! What the hell?
    6:10 it's probably because the Knuckles show felt more like the Wade show
    Now my thoughts: I'm not gonna lie, I fully expected to see a bullet go into Maria's back like the games and even Sonic X, as morbid as it sounds, instead of an explosion doing her in. I said it before and I'm gonna say it again, I _was_ that guy who shouted "Eggman pissed on the moon!" when he moved the laser away from Earth. Who'd have thunk Gerald would still be alive at 110, and that Eggman would kill him? Unlike in the games where Shadow was created by Gerald to cure Maria's illness, now Shadow's an alien who was studied and Maria happen to have permission in the base. Eggman's final live stream must've been Jim Carrey's way of saying goodbye because he hates doing sequels and refused to settle for anything less than the perfect script. I was so hyped when I saw Metal and his army and when I saw Amy, i screamed so loud I lost my voice. Finally, what are your thoughts on the Chao Garden being Japanese Chuck E. Cheese in the movies?

    I like the 3rd movie although it's a shame rouge wasn't there and it is confusing how Gerald survived that long when in the original he was executed but it was and still is a good movie

    • @tonysonic456
      @tonysonic456  8 дней назад +1

      I can see why some fans would be disappointed that Rouge didn't show up, but I think they managed just fine without her. As for Gerald living so long, well, he explains that he offered his scientific prowess in exchange for his freedom; so that prevents the execution. I will say that they could've explained how he's still alive in terms of ageing better than a very slight hint that Shadow's quill kept him alive, but the world of Sonic is fairly unrealistic. I can suspend my disbelief that Gerald is somehow 110 and still kicking.

    I think they're going to have the films inspired by the following games in this order (spoilers for 3):
    4. CD & Heroes
    5. Adventure 1
    6. 2006

    • @chadpeterson5698

      The Chao are not actual creatures in the Sonic universe, just fictional characters within the fictional universe. So Adventure 1 is impossible since the actual Chao do not exist in the movie and by extension Chaos does not exist in the movies. More than likely, if Sonic 5 is going to follow any game it’s Shadow the Hedgehog

      1. I like Wade... when he's used in short bursts.
      2. As villains? Well, Captain Whiskers is an absolute joke while The End barely gets any screentime as a villain. But to be fair, both of The End's boss fights are better than both of Captain Whisker's boss fights; so I'll give a slight edge to The End.

    I can think of some problems with the movie, but they're mostly just nitpick. I'd say my biggest problem is that at some points, the pacing isn't great. Specifically at the beginning. But the pacing gets much better throughout the movie. I think the movie probably should have been a little longer, and I would have also liked just one more fight scene between Sonic and Shadow like at the point where shadow was picking off the characters after they recruited eggman. I'm also a bit bombed to that Shadow never used chaos control. But that's the worst I can say about the movie, and I agree. It's a 10 out of 10 movie, especially for the Sonic fans because the biggest critics are just nitpicks.

    For me this movie is almost perfect save for 1 thing. Although that involves spoilers so don’t click read more unless you don’t mind knowing
    I’m not the biggest fan of how Gerald’s character was handled. He leaned too much into the evil side of his character rather than the sympathetic side, and his comedy was too much. The comedy was perfect with Eggman, not so much with Gerald.

    • @tonysonic456
      @tonysonic456  9 дней назад +2

      I like to think that the comedy runs in the Robotnik family, and that Gerald is appealing to Eggman's interests just so he's on his side until the plan goes through. Besides, Gerald is still sympathetic to a degree. It's just that in this world we see more of Gerald's depraved side rather than only the brief part of it we saw in Adventure 2.

    • @chadpeterson5698
      @chadpeterson5698 9 дней назад +2

      @@tonysonic456 yeah that’s fair, it’s ultimately a minor thing. I just wish Gerald’s sympathetic side was shown a bit more, and I mainly think his death was where the character got the short end of the stick. Also post credit scene talk
      How would you feel if Metal Sonic decided to go full on Ultron and decided that he needed to wipe out all organic life. I think this would make Metal stand out among the other movie villains, especially if Metal Sonic shows absolutely no goodwill in him and overall has a robotic heart of stone.

    • @tonysonic456
      @tonysonic456  9 дней назад +2

      @@chadpeterson5698 Eh, I would prefer the Metal we saw in Heroes over a Sonic version of Ultron, which to be fair was kind of his plan in Heroes, but his need surpass Sonic overshadowed that.

      @@tonysonic456 I’ve heard theories that they might draw from Sonic CD as well as the Fleetway comics along with Heroes. The reason Fleetway is brought into the conversation is due to the drones Metal Sonic sent after Sonic, and in those comics, Metal Sonic had an army of copies that worked under him.

    For a movie with about an hour and 45 minutes of content, adding up all of the times i was "upset" you'd probably BARELY make half a minute. But, to add something, here are the 3 moments, brief as they may be, where i didnt like the movie. Spoilers, obviously
    1. The reference to go the helicopter scene in adventure 2 feels out of place. In the games, he says it because hes breaking out of captivity. Here, it just seems forced because "hah, get it, he's jumping out of a helicopter?"
    2. "Konichi-whaaat?". Probably, in the trilogy, the WORST joke i have heard. Sonic can be corny, and thats probably not the worst joke in the franchise, but in the movies, its my least favorite (aside from the fart jokes of the last two movies)
    Okay, i lied, this is 2.5, and its MAJOR spoilers
    Before shadow and sonic run off in super forms, sonic just randomly saya "gotta go fast". Fun fact, almost every media has sonic saying this at one point, EXCEPT the games. and it feels like it took the wind out of the coolest moment in the movie. Why i say its 2.5 instead of 3, is because i like the interaction between shadow and sonic. Shadow smiling, almost in disbelief, saying "don't tell me you got a catch phrase." It felt nice to see shadow smile.
