Second comment but i agree with the message of civil arguments I watched a video like this like a few days after the death battle came out, and the entire time, there were points that i said "if you looked at the mario universe" because they just knew about sonic. I wrote an entire thread in their video, being respectful (despite some of the comments i got), and while i went back and forth, it got tiring because it felt like i wasnt there to have a good discussion, but an argument. In this video, i felt none of that. You brought up your points well, and had me rethink a few things. Granted, my opinion hasn't changed much, but that's because even before this death battle, i brought this up with some friends, and i spent a few hours thinking it over before eventually landing on bowser. This is more reinforcing my idea of "(character) wins, but i dont think its a wipe".

I think my issue is it boils down to the same issue that mario and sonic did, and ill use them here. Sonic is anime plot armor. He'll always find the way to win with the power of friendship, or by never giving up, or some other common anime trope. Easy to realize when sonic is inspired by dragon ball Mario is toon force. His body is durable because its funny to see him get squished like a pancake, and walk around all flat. Its funny to see a character get cartoonishly beat up. While i say this, theres also another thing that we have to account for. Magic vs technology Yes, bowser is an incredibly powerful creature with an army that is pretty magical (boos, koopalings, kamek) . But what's stopping eggman from using his incredible machinery to decimate them before Bowser can get a grip on the field? And on the contrary, yes, eggman's army of machines are incredibly durable, and can probably wipe out 80+% of the koopa tropp. But what if bowser just starts using his magic to change the army? What can eggman do to that? Most of the original death battles takes i agree with, although im *very* against the deal with grand stars being as powerful as tbe chaos emerlads, but when i saw this get announced, i always went back and fourth. I stuck with bowser because, in the long run, Bowser seems to have taken the most damage, just to get back up again. But i considered it much closer than death battle put it (i think eggman has a good enough army that he should have won, or at least tied).

Despite what it may look like this is me being civil PHANTOM RUBY MENTION? like at all? It grants the user Subjective Reality, meaning time and space are able to manipulated at their will. The Wonder Flower has Space manipulation but no reality warping. The Phantom Ruby had matched a post generations Classic Super Sonic granting it feats equivalent to a Sonic on par with then Modern Sonic. Also no Mega Death Egg Robot (MDE) from Forces was spoken of despite being stronger than Infinite and being a mech more powerful than mechs that can destroy multiverses or match Super Sonics Scaling Chain for Sonic places him with 5D AP and Immeasurable speed on account of scaling off his past Super Sonic feats and matching their power for AP and the generations feat of restoring Space and time with his speed + traveling through time in CD (the signs are a game mechanic). MDE scales relative Infinite not only beat Sonic once but after fighting again and getting kinda staggered he locked in to beat him down before leaving as Sonic verbally concedes. No Null-space mention which no one on Bowser's side could escape from on account of being a pocket dimension where NOTHING EXISTS and only being escaped by Sonic and the Rookie Metal directly scales to Sonic and has on multiple occasions surpassed him. Neo's biodata copying is instantaneous and replicates the results of abilities without needing a power source so he could use magic as well as Kamek. Also Metal isn't going into a beam struggle with bowser, he would've shielded against it or coordinated with Sage, who's shields were able to hold off The End's attacks. Neo-Metal also has the same intelligence as Eggman, Super Neo Metal is overkill. SNM wasn't from the Chaos Emeralds, rather it was powered by the Master Emerald which is the equivalent of ALL the chaos emeralds combined and even beyond that with the ability to control and subdue the others. SNM wiped the floor with Knuckles and Sonic. Sage's technopathy went underused as well. The best thing it could've taken over would be the chance time panels as they are screens; pieces of technology. Technology is VERY broad as well but I just chose the simple choice. Also the idea the Chaos Emeralds don't have infinite power with Unleashed as an example isn't correct. Dark Gaia is an exact counter to the Chaos Emeralds, the Master Emerald is also capable of doing the same thing, that doesn't mean they don't have infinite power

Their biggest mistake was bringing in a Super Form and having it lose. How did he go from one-tapping Bowser in his base form to failing to kill a MUCH less durable Kamek with multiple attacks in his super forn Also, not related to the actual debate, but rather the fight itsself. It would have been a COOL as hell twist if in the end they revealed that Infinite had never went out and the entire army was Phantom Ruby Clones, allowing the real army to finally come into play

My only issue is that they didn't use the strongest mechs or take speed into account. Like the death egg robot from forces would've been better, gargantuan in size and powered by the ruby meaning it had reality manipulation as well, and I don't understand why they wouldn't have Sage command one of the other powerful mechs Ivo has (E.G the time eater) to jump Bowser (It'd be better than having her just there to block spikes, toss some drones, and then just fire the death egg), so that way even if he uses the cherry and kamek to create copies of equal power, the speed and power of three major eggmechs (I'm including a D3-COY that pilots something better then the dragoon, like the eggwizard ), the combined strengths of infinite (Who coulda easily dodged a thwomp, cmon he dodged and beat down sonic a thwomp is nothin) and the death egg robot reality warping and creating copies together, and super neo metal would have no issue speedblitzing and one punching all the dreamy bowsers or any other Bowser form clones before Bowser could actually do anything of worth with the forms. Also I found them using tHe pOWer of FrIendShip for bowser ridiculous, ok yes their team work, friendship, and loyalty can help them cover for eachother but like what's more loyal than mindless machines controlled by Eggman's loyal super intelligent AI daughter, and comparing the firepowers of the Eggman Empire to the Koopa Army without their leaders, it's a clear sweep for the Empire

i feel like the "yoshi beat bowser so hes stronger" claim is a little shaky as the entire concept of a boss battle is you (yoshi) are the weaker underdog fighting the stronger opponent. good video thoughh, you points make a lot of sense

i think that yes the wonder flower could be used to warp eggmans army but he could use the phantom ruby to turn his army back to normal also the phantom ruby was seen to even bring classic sonic to the present in sonic forces so theoretically if bowser would be winning eggman could reverse time with the phantom ruby and while thats happening sage could think of millions of strategies to beat bowser and his army and metal sonic could scan bowser aswell as his army and download the bio data and possbily get those skills and maybe just maybe become metal overlord which took team rose team dark and the chaotix aswell as super sonic knuckles and tails to defeat i think, and also in sonic forces i think it was revealed that eggman was cloning all of sonic's past villains including shadow infinite and even chaos and others and also if i know correctly one of eggmans strongest mechs is the death egg robot from sonic forces and i dont remember seeing it in the death battle also if they had all there weapons then why didnt eggman have his clone army

I dont think the other mechs were shown because it may be harder to make switching and controlling multiple mechs reasonable. In addition, Kamek wasnt likely utilized as much due to it being pointless to show everything Kamek can negate. If i remember correctly, death battle reaches a conclusion then has the battle animated to fit into it. Also, the koopalings werent included, who are strong, durable, and possess fairly powerful magic.

here's my reasoning: Physical stats: in the various Mario sports games, bowser has been constantly shown as the power character, with the highest strength. and in each instance, the power of bowser has been higher than Yoshi. even then, it's still a video game, and the protagonist has to win, so there's that. even if we assume that bowser is not stronger than yoshi due to his defeats, we can at least scale him to yoshi. also, side note: eggman has shown these feats in a mech or with lazers/inventions. his actual physical feets outside of the death egg is about human levels I think Powers: I agree, but yet again, the rules of death battle indicates that characters do not know each other unless specified, or something. also, I think they mean that the crazy stuff can't be all used at once. there is also a pop us saying that the clown car can easily cross the universe or something. needs more recharch Army: I know I am going out of context of video, but I feel confident about how to analise it first, and the trump cards is a bit too long for today. Fistly, bowser could make clones of himself too, or just clone metal sonic, making the infinite/metal sonic combo cancelled. also, Mario enemies are strong too. they have been shown to have special shots in golf, and according to Mario maker, a single goomba can lift bowser. also, the relationship between infinite and eggman is a bit fishy, as eggman betrays infinite, ore something that could make infinite stay out of the fight the ending is still good, and I like how your friend adds a counterpoint for the video.

Good idea what the whole second opinion however you kind of low balled Sonic; yes it's weird that eggman was able to siphon infinite energy out of the chaos emeralds but you and I both know that he's created next that can fight evenly with supersonic and besides that 1 showing of the chaos emeralds losing power versus the many other statements throughout the years shouldn't really be contradicted by who one inconsistency. Eggman and nega are incredibly egotistical we all knew this going in doesn't mean we just disregard their statements and let's not forget that they just have as much as experience using them as Sonic and the gang especially when they create mechs that can match their firepower so when they use the the power of the Stars which are apparently stronger than the sol and chaos emeralds do I have to be taken into consideration especially the transcend dimensionality because this is consistent. We do know that there are infinite universes or spaces within Sonic; lost rings casually mentions it an maginary world which is a 5D construct that houses infinite universe and once again Sonic would be higher than those considering that he gets stronger after every game and you know fixing space and time by just running through it in base form in generations would put them at immeasurable speeds and at least 7d

Yeah, G.Freedy doens't really have much to work with. Unlike they dedicate a game when Golden has an important role like Rockstar Freddy has in Security breach. Speaking of matchups, I think I found an efficient one for Monika. Being Monika vs Mita (Doki Doki Literature Club vs Miside). They both have a lot in common, they are girls aware that their world is a dating simulation game, they are both obsessed with the player who would even cause the death of others. However, both are, to some extent, the antithecis of the other. Monika states that although she committed these atrocities throughout the game, she did not have it in her to destroy her friends in their entirety, keeping her friends' files saved. Mita has no moral limits. Not only does she directly kill other Mitas, but she can also directly kill the player themselves. Besides, both are feared for their haxs in their respective games, and said games are psychological horror. Who wins? Not sure, it could go either way. Is it the perfect phsycological horror? Probably not. But in my opinion it's far better than matches like Monika vs Virgo (Welcome home) or Flowey.
