Always wanted a TG-16/PC Engine/CD. Thankfully we can emulate the games to at least play them. My favorites are Castlevania Rondo of Blood, Lords of Thunder, Devil's Crush, Soldier Blade, and Ys Books 1 and 2.

do you know where i could find the ROMs and systems that he got? i tried doing stuff with mana gunz but its confusing as they dont show where to get the games and most of them are for pc emulators only.

Hello! My modded PS3 can't see USB...in fact he maybe sees USB drive but in the Games tab I don't have the Package manager. I also tried the same USB drive on another modded PS3 which I don't use due to a bad GPU...and it has a Package manager but can't read the USB drive. So, can u please help resolve this? Thank u in advance.
I've used two of these USB-drives. Both of them failed all random-access write tests (had results between 1-4 Kb/s, not Mb/s). They seem to have lacking or no flash controllers for this. Random-access reads were poor but at least functional, sequential Read/write were servicable. I've seen tests of them where others have better luck, so it might be a larger batch I was unlucky to dubble -dip into, but personally I would advice to check out other drives.
Hi Blaine, absolutely love your presence and informative videos!! Followed the steps and almost everything works great. Only problem is that any of the NES cores only recognize about 1/3 of my roms. They all work fine with the same emulators on my pc, and scanning the roms folder in retro arch scans them all. No clue how to troubleshoot from here Thanks again!
i did everything you did but when i play super mario there is no sound i checked everything in setting to make sure sound is enable but still no sound please help
Is it normal for the boxart to sometimes freeze or not work? I sometimes have to exit then highlight a game, sometimes change boxart in order to see a pic. Also is there a way to save core selection for each console rather than selecting one for every game?
Once you scan the games do you have to keep the games on the usb in order for the games to work? Or can you just take out the usb and play the games after you scan them?
can i also play ps1 psp and wii games with this version of retroarch on ps3 it should work right because there are cores for those consoles or am i wrong
Is it OK to update the cores and assets with this beta? I think i tried this version before and it would normally freeze on me when I tried to get out of a game and go to the home menu.
@Blaine Lockair. Hi, I own a PS3 but it is mostly about the Retroarch that I have a question. I installed Retroarch on my Android device and add some Ms-DOS games. And when I tried to remap my external keyboard(plugged with an OTG adapter) and tried to remap the only corresponding buttons I got proposed by the app were buttons like on a SixAxSix controller. Got any idea on how to fix that problem? Perhaps you already have a video that helps? Regards, Thomas
Tried this version and it shows garbled enlarged text and doesn’t load just freezes. Tried another version and it freezes if it try to import even one snes rom.

I may have to start copy and pasting this response. You cannot run 3D systems through RetroArch (for now at least). RetroArch is running off the CPU of the PS3 without the RSX GPU. It also lacks Dynarec and OpenGL. So until those issues are solved, no Dreamcast or N64.

So I'm wondering, will this automatically copy those Bios files to the Retroarch System folder on the PS3? or if not, what is the best way to FTP to this folder? Thanks.

It's a great piece of software once you understand how it works. Once you understand the cores concept it becomes easier.
The newer version was more user friendly.. but still has missing assets issues which came up after updating to 1.90 I think it was

No, you cannot play any games that aren’t ps3 or under, anything beyond the release of a ps3 cannot be played using any jailbreaking method.

Hello,can I run games from PS3 HDD storage? I want to hack a PS3 with HEN and I want to make that consle permanent with retro games and PS3 games.
I find running the roms off the hard drive better in case the USB port craps out.

Walk me through what you did. Also have you tried updating in Safe Mode?

You can just copy paste it in with multiman.. you could ftp it too but it's easier with USB.. just like a PC

Just look them up online depending on the system your installing the bios of that system is pretty easy to find.
