  • In this week's video Liz interviews the amazing Peter Studenik who has successfully HEALED his tinnitus! Liz usually talks singing and MTD on this channel but she felt driven to chat with Peter because so many of her musician friends suffer with tinnitus. The approach Peter used to resolve his mind/body disorder (tinnitus) can also be applied to fibromyalgia and muscle tension dysphonia because these are MIND/BODY disorders! (Keep in mind that MTD must also be addressed physically with the proper retraining of the voice with a speech therapist and/or qualified vocal coach). Did you know that tinnitus is TENSION?? WHOA!

The steps Peter took to help him get tinnitus relief (very similar to Dr. Schubiner's approach and can be applied to many chronic mind/body disorders):
    1. Excluding phase
    Exclude or cure objective/structural causes.
    2. Understanding phase
Understand that chronic tinnitus is a neuro-structural problem (malfunction of the hypothalamus), not a problem of the ears.
    3. Emotional awareness and expression therapy phase
Feel safe and calm down the nervous system.

I have just developed T, i'm 3 weeks in with having T. Sometimes I get stuck on what caused it. If I was exposed by loud music or if it was caused from my mental state, all I know is the ringing was noticable after a microsunction proceedure removing wax. 3 weeks in and it has been challenging. Thanks for making this video ❤

@@LizBills It’s a lot of today’s population! I’ve been down the rabbit hole researching every possible healing modality. What worked best f me was non-inflammatory diet, fasting, meditation, yoga, upper cervical chiropractic m, self massage trigger point therapy and exercise - modalities discovered from several different sources on YT. I did follow Peter’s advice when he chatted with me on Messenger three years ago and read his book but didn’t stick with his protocol as I’d read mixed reviews on the TRT method and decided to looked at nutrition instead. So I’ve come full circle now going back to Peter’s initial protocol and this time I’ll be adding some professional psychotherapy in the mix.
Update: decided to try QHHT instead. Please Google.

@@melodyebuskin5490 amazing! I’ve done the same! I don’t have tinnitus but I do have muscle tension dysphonia, it’s another mind/body disorder. So fascinating! Diet change and mental health work have helped me so much.

@@LizBills I’m also a vocalist/drummer but never heard of that sort of throat issue. There’s obviously something in our psyche that believes we’re not worthy. Ironically my issue came on when our band shut down bc of the pandemic.
I’m curious as to how Peter found you.
