She was an amazing talent. Beautiful, funny and smart.
Yessss indeed very beautiful and funny 😁
She also cheated on her husband with the Director.
@@georgemalley6414 I did not know that. i bet it was a big scandal back then.
@@georgemalley6414
Her husband WAS the director of the show!
Stunning....eyes and smile....
Didn't need foul language, didn't need 4/5ths naked women, didn't need elaborate sets, it was great writers, and 2 incredibly talented people to carry off a wonderful show.
It was at bit more than 4/5 when they had the maid who only wore an apron.
@@johngraesser4911 Who had a maid who only wore an apron? What show?
@@johngraesser4911
However, at that time audiences weren't actually seeing the backside of the actress....
Now a days we do see 4/5ths of the woman's body. (sadly)
Here, the apron covers the majority of her body ...of the front.
Because they don't show us her back.
@@tracypaxton1054 according to the clip on youtube, it was season 8 episode 5. You can see the clip by searching: bewitched naked maid.
Maybe. But just imagine how good it would’ve been if they had elaborate sets, foul language and naked women.
One never tires of watching this show There is something magical about it
It has you bewitched!
Kinda puts a spell on you 😁
I agree! 😂
Hence the name Bewitched.
Which is witch 🧙♀️
That blue dress was gorgeous.
I have watched this show since the day it premiered and 58 years later I’m still watching.
Me too. I watched when these shows originally aired...different world back then.
Me too! 😉
Love this❤️💯
Me to.!
Me too. It never gets old.
Nobody makes shows like Bewitched, Good times, I dream of Jeannie, Sanford and son, Gilligans island, Hogans heroes, the Jeffersons and Archie Bunker anymore. Entertaining, fun and a lot of times with a wholesome message. Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s was the best. Best tv and definitely the best music. 😳
So agree!
You took the words right out of my mouth!!
You can add the Adams family and The Munsters. You're right 60s and 70s were the best.
Young Sheldon is the last of them. The art form has died.
True!
Her dad was one of the best dressed men of his time and beautiful Elizabeth carried on the tradition. Love this show
And she was absolutely gorgeous in that blue!
These short clips, just make you want to watch the episode.
It's sad the Elizabeth Montgomery lost her life to colon cancer.
She was not only a gorgeous woman, but so talented in many ways.
I've always respected her and her talents.
When shows were next to perfection. Half a century later still watching Bewitched.
Elizabeth Montgomery was absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!
Elizabeth Montgomery would look beautiful in a gunny sack.A stunning beauty!
I still watch all of Bewitched over and over again. When she wears gorgeous outfits omg ! What a beautiful and very talented woman.. I use to watch Bewitched just to see her beauty!

All the dresses were beautiful, of course Sam looked great. That color was so good on her and that coat was gorgeous.
This was when TV was worth watching!! Enjoyed everything without vulgarity, nudity, or bloodshed the folks who starred, the producers, and directors created something wonderful and fun to watch for the entire family. 😀
Yes so true
@@harryhanz1690 you miss understood me.
Exactly, this was one of my favorite show to watch when I was still living in the USA
Love the fact that there was no foul language in it, no nudity and it was a good laugh for families
@@harryhanz1690 no one is hating Jesus here.
However, it is true that celebrating holloween and witchcraft is wrong but this show was just fantasy and had no connection with real life witchcraft since no real witch could or would ever claimed to be able to do what Samantha and her horrible mother Endora do.
@@harryhanz1690 I sure do mr zealot, Jesus is no more reality based than Samantha Stevens. do you believe your ancient goat herders myth has any relevance today? Poor Dick York. He couldn't help himself. If I had to work alongside Elizabeth Montgomery, I'd have fallen madly in love with her too.
The original Gladys Kravitz was exceptional! Her facial expressions were the best.
Samantha to the rescue -- again❗ Having said that, she looked amazing in that blue 👗 dress.
Sam looks amazing in her house coat.

I’ve noticed that Samantha wears that heart necklace in just about, if not all episodes. It is lovely 🤍
William Asher, her husband at the time, gave her the puffed pave diamond pendant and Liz wore it to show her undying love.

It would be nice to see a reboot but sticking to the wholesomeness of the original. I can see Nicole Kidman in the role.
@@francescacastiglione7094 LOL she did a great job playing samantha. Have a good one
Stylish acting by the person playing the designer, the way he just whipped up the sketch of a dress, whilst delivering his lines, was flawless 👌

When EM portrayed Lizzie Bordon, she showed the caliber of actress she was.
She was pretty good I'm "The Awakening Land" too
Very true...she did some other great dramas too.

Hello how are you doing?
I wanna see the whole programme!
Something else I love about this episode, Sam is calm and clear thinking while Darrin is freaking out, which I can understand. I love it when she tells the client she'll get the dresses made. He asks how? Sam says mother will help. That's a wich for you. 😀
Endora didn't know it yet, but when Sam told her she'll be using witchcraft to get the dresses done, she said, "That's my Samantha."
I've said it elsewhere, Darrin is very lucky that he met and married Sam. She is so darn smart. Being a witch doesn't hurt. 😀
He married a clever witch but he didn't want her to be what she was meant to be. Stupid!
I’d like to see the full episode
@@sweetz187 me too!
One sometimes wondered whether he deserved her but they do. Genuine mutual love.
I would try never to miss this show. It had it all. Today's shows don't even come close.
I can't recall the actor playing the designer, but his fainting scene along with the fall was amazing considering there was no stunt double.
This is the first time I've seen this colorized version, amazing!!
I grew up with this show, seen every episode, and still love watching it.
Quality TV just isn't made anymore.
Bewitched is 58 years old, came out in 1964. And it's still worth watching, still entertaining. Good writing, great acting, and censorship to keep it clean. How many times have we seen Samantha in her nightgown, and never seen anything risky? Serena’s mini skirts showed more skin. I miss this kind of show, safe, and funny. But they could never recapture this kind of long lasting entertainment again. The spark between the actors, the writers, the sense of humor and timing, it was a perfect combination. I don't think any modern actors could pull it off. Even if given the exact same scripts. Even if they made the sets up similar. They'd never find another console TV set for the living room, that's for sure. 🤣 I remember thinking that was such a fancy TV, they must be rich. My surprise the first time I watched it on a color TV set! I didn't know it was filmed in color. 😊
Thank you for the video, greatly appreciated.
Take care, stay safe, have a nice day.

One thing that is better than this is a British Comedy Show. In my opinion anyway
@@ausfisherman Hi,
Which one? I've watched some Brit-coms on PBS station.
Are You Being Served was good.
Benny Hill is classic.
And that one with the lady named Hyacinth, she was big and pushy with a short skinny little husband.
And one with two married couples, one was down to Earth gardeners, the neighbors were a bit snobby.
Sorry I forget some of the names, I haven't watched them in awhile. And I have senior forgetfulness...
Watching Brit-coms you just have to translate a few things. In the car Hyacinth told her husband to drive carefully he almost hit a lolly....? I used to work at the airport, I asked the next customer with an English accent what a lolly was, and where I heard it. It took him a minute, then realized the time frame of the show. He explained people pushed carts down the street selling sweets. It was a lollypop cart. ? We have icecream trucks that drive through neighborhoods in the summer, you have to be fast to catch them. Be dressed with shoes on and money and keys by the door, or you miss out. Helps if you have a whistle.
So which Brit-coms are you referring to?
Take care, stay safe, have a nice day.

Your post is very nostalgic, but it’s from another time. You laud it for being “safe”, but it’s actually sexist. It encourages women to adjust their behaviour in order to do to appease the fragile egos of their husbands. I wouldn’t call that safe. Neither would millions of other modern women.
I grew up watching bewitched and was in love with “Samantha” ( Elizabeth Montgomery) who was always a radiant beauty
She was just gorgeous and I loved this show.
I was a young lad when this show was at its prime. Even at that age I thought Samantha was a gorgeous. That kink of beauty transcends all ages.
She was adorable. Always laughed watching that show.
Elizabeth Montgomery's facial expressions are second to none, few words were spoken but everyone knew exactly what she was saying to Darren.

This delightful show had so many changes over the years with different combinations of actors playing the main roles. This pairing for me was the best. You could believe they were an actual couple. They had such good chemistry. The downside for me though was the "canned laughter," it didn't need it.
This awful show most certainly needed the laugh track. In spite of nostalgia and The Gorgeous Montgomery, this show was run of the mill hack writing.
A little harsh. Canned laughter does not a show make.
All I could say when I saw her smile was, WOW!
I agree that this show is the best in history...loved Samantha and Darrin.. my favorite couple they were beautiful together along with 2 beautiful children.....Tabitha and Adam....💖❤️💕🧑🦰👪 ....
It would have been just fine without the kids, but at least without that dreary "Adam." And by no means was it "the best in history"! That's such an exaggeration, it's almost nauseating.

Kudos for the stunt fall Dick Gautier took at 1:20. Looks easy but it's actually quite risky, head first down stairs. He sold it perfectly, didn't protect himself and Clark didn't break his fall in the least.
That was great. Now I want to see the whole episode!

So fun to see the show in color, makes me wonder what year we actually got a color TV!
I am 63 years old, I grew up on Black and White, I didn't get a color TV until I was about 21 and living on my own, in those days you went to work, earned and saved your money, then went shopping for your toys.
Elizabeth was a talented and beautiful woman. She sure made that gown look good.
This is why I still watch old tv shows.
These old shows have an innocence to them which makes them wonderful and ageless.
I usually like the original B/W episodes left alone. But, colonizing this one, for the dresses, makes it pop!
If this is season 2 then I don't think it was colorized. Wasn't only the first season in B/W with all other seasons filmed in Color? I think both Gilligan's Island and I Dream of Jeannie where that way also.
