This is the only moment I recall in all of Bewitched's episodes where Darrin and Endora were sweet to each other. It was a beautiful moment. And she actually choked up. And then she asked Darrin if he was a good swimmer and he replied he couldn't swim a stroke and she replied, "Well, we better use these" and conjured up two handkerchiefs. Very, very, sweet.
Similar to Sanford and Son when Fred and Esther stood on the same side when Big Money Grip claimed Lamont was his son.
I love the values of Endora. She was very progressive when she told Darrin "why do you object to my daughter being herself?". I was always on her side.
Agnes Moorehead was such a great actress. I have watched many movies with her and really appreciate how much talent she had. God bless all the actors from Bewitched. We miss all of you.❤
She was in "Citizen Kane."

Still to this day I watch an hour of bewitched every lunch time . One of my favorites is Aunt Clara .

Endora’s outfit at Tabitha’s birth was gorgeous!
Paul Lynde yelling "Selfish! Selfish!" out the car window has always been my favorite moment of the show. He was frustrated with Sam but still stood up for her - acting like her uncle before he had the part.
I found out that it was ad lib. Elizabeth loved it so much they kept it in! They were all so talented! May they all RIP

What a great series. Unfortunately, once they switched Darrin, the show wasn't the same for me. 🤷🏼Dick York was the right one. Still enjoyed Samantha and Endora for the remaining seasons.

most of the clothes they wore for the show were from their own personal wardrobes. it was a way for the studios to save money back then.

Fun Fact 2: the cast were filming when JFK was shot on November 22, 1963 and stopped all production.
That is one interesting bit of information. I was just 5 years old when JFK was shot.😢😢

Due to all the coverage that was given to JFK’s assassination, BBC re-aired Doctor Who’s first episode (An Unearthly Child) again the next week! This year Doctor Who turns 60! I know this may seem unrelated, but both shows revolve around Unearthly people and aired around the same time…

I loved Dick York he was great
Eve Arden was one of the most distinctive comedic actresses from the tail end of radio. She had the most distinctive voice-- three or four words, and you know it's her. She never changed.
Yeesh, Endora was very exuberant and intimidating when she first met Darrin. Nearly gave me the chills.
Endora acted like a boss in that first meeting.
All of these scenes are great examples of what makes BEWITCHED such a unique series. The actors/actresses and characters are ingrained in our TV culture. Mention the "twitch", and many people will know who the character is and perhaps the actress who brought Samantha to life. And this goes across generations.
I missed the episode where Darren and Endora were friendly to each other..we could of used more of that thru out all the episodes..too much hate going on there but I loved the show.
Our Miss Brooks became a nurse! Good for her; the pay is better!
We need a Bewitched updated to 2023. That would be soooooo interesting!
The first two and the last one was my favorite
#2 is my favorite; when the door opens Endora looks very vulnerable 5:25 and she DOES try briefly to get along with Durwood. 16:00 the Bewitched house was demolished a few days ago, along with the other house shells / exteriors on the Warner Bros / Columbia lot. Must've been a cold morning for that outdoor scene with Paul Lynde.
I like Endora and her values, Darrin is a macho egoistic!!!

Agnes Moorehead had an extensive resume in radio and film prior to playing Endora. She was the original Margot Laine on the Shadow opposir=the Orson Welles and appeared in CITIZEN Kane and worked with John Wayne in the CONQUerer. Tons of other work that I don't have space to list...!!

For me, one of the most touching moment was when Adam was born and Darrin comes in to see Sam and their expression of love love for one another and happiness for having a son. No nurse to tell him "Don't sit on the bed."

The funniest to me was Esmerelda going back in time to help Leonardo da Vinci paing in the Tower of Pisa. He asked her to get him something to eat, and she asked what he wants. A Tower Special, he said. She tried to conjure it up for him. "A Tower Special, and make it lean."

I wonder what Bewitched would have been like if the show had dark moments or real subject matter of the times. It was a good show; but too many slapstick moments. I would have enjoyed seeing the original Darrin Stephens appear in an episode with the second Darrin Stephens and no one remembers that the 1st Darren because of a spell on him and them.
