How can a “BARRISTER” not know he must hand over “ALL EVIDENCE”.
Total incompetence or he was in on the lie.

What’s your name? -I can’t recall. How old are you? -I’m not sure. Who do you work for? -I don’t remember.

This will be remembered as the Horizon/Amnesia Inquiry ?

Teflon Flemington, funny he can’t remember anything. Has no experience in Criminal Law yet becomes Head of Legal, yet claims not to have had supervisory duties. Does he seriously expect people to believe this crap. He needs to be struck off at the least.

Another amnesiac working for the post office.

'I don't recall' and 'that would be Jarnail Singh/Susan Crichton' has, as Mr Henry says, done some heavy lifting here. Seems a very cynical approach to both the inquiry and his role (as a solicitor with a duty to the Courts). That makes the apology at the end a complete insult.

An awful lot of ‘I think ‘ going on. What a pity he didn’t ‘think’ something palpably stinks here ! It gets worse by the day !! Everybody associated with this seems to suffer from collective amnesia !!

He is a prime reason why no-one should ever have faith in the legal system. It's financially impossible for the average individual to take them on so just imagine how many people have been royally screwed over by the courts, prosecution etc

Absolutely appalling performance by this inept character: if it wasn’t so incredibly serious it could be a Monty Python sketch !!

I hope when all these witness`s say `I can`t remember` it goes on the record as a lie, a big fat one at that !

One thing that is clear, coming out of this Inquiry, is that there is colusion between some witnesses and that PO remain in a cover up mode, clearly being played out by nearly every single post office employee, Fujitsu and legal representatives that have given or about to give evidence. Another avenue that needs to be explored by the inquiry is the need for inquiry appointed medical experts to carry out test on each witness for mental competency and dementia.

So where are the notes and diaries of that time?

Maybe lie detectors attached to them but sure that would not be permitted unfortunately ! They would probably blow up anyway ! Lost for words really with one appalling character rolled out after another !!

The dates on known Horizon bugs was flagged in 2003 - Coyne report. Mills and Miller (Temp CEO and CEO) from 1999 (+ Coyne 2003). 'Robust' was used instead of defective when there were known bugs from when the contract signed in 1999.

There has never been an IT system that didn't have bugs and defects. So the assumption that Horizon was perfect was totally flawed from day one Anyone who has worked in IT for 5 minutes knows this. I just can't fathom how the entire management layer at POL buried their heads in the sand for 20 years and assumed that Horizon couldn't have errors. It's just such a fundamental thing but they all just ran with this mistake and 100s of people went along with it.
