yeah i think after a wash those are gonna look like a great “regular” fit. a couple shots i thought they looked weird but by the end i absolutely fucked with it
I completely agree. I think that they will shrink down a bit to a relatively straight regular fit as well. And I agree that at first I thought they looked and felt weird, but after a while after my eyes adjusted to the look and I really fell in love with them 😈🔥 Thanks so much for the love my g! 🙏🏽
I respect Naked & Famous so much for their dedication to size inclusivity, because most raw denim brands don't do that! I get this question from time to time for larger sized raw denim, and I always recommend Naked & Famous! Cheers my friend! 😁😁
I am also a size 42 and some of their lineups have Easy Guy but not Strong Guy. I want the pair that will take f o r e e v e r to fade but wish it came with the Strong Guy option.
Of course my friend! I believe they said they were gonna restock soon! 👀 But either way they still have the strong guys available on their site in different fabrics though! Honestly if you’re looking for high contrast fades that might be your best bet. Glad you enjoyed the video my friend! 😃🙏🏽🔥 Let me know if there is anything you’d like to see!
Bro I wanna try those SO bad for real I just never got my hands on them! 🥲 Hopefully soon though, because I do have them lined up on my content list, I just gotta get them and also get my bread up to afford this content LMFAO! Much love my brother thank you so much for the support by the way, I appreciate you! 😁😁
Ayyy no way for real? 🥹 That means more to me than you know for real, I'm genuinely proud that you came along on this journey with us and proud that I am able to serve you this way and play my part in your raw denim journey for real! Much love king, thank you so much for the support! 😁
I've looked at another Chinese 'brand' selvedge jeans called Red Tornado, which have many Filson copy designs, but also a straight fit in wide and small, based on the original 501 apparently, legs as wide as 10 inches iirc. Think it was called 55501, the model. Recently had a new pair in called 'Sauce Origin' and it is a very nice straight cut with zipper with a 13% French linen weaved in to it, super tight weave and Gunze thread for the sowing, solid silver button. Blue selvedge ID and rainbow weft. There is also a taper fit model with button fly. They have used a lot of vintage machines to fabricate them. Gotta say the cut, albeit not really baggy, but a very nice bit wider straight fit.
Funny enough a lot of you guys have been telling me about Red Tornado and I think after this one I definitely owe the brand a spotlight, lol! 😇 I appreciate the recommendation and the knowledge you have my friend! The linen blended fabric sounds quite intriguing actually, and I have yet to have ever heard or seen anything like that! You guys always bring me exciting things to check out for real, and I forever thank you for it! 😁😁
@@AlejandroJomar The linen blend should look, feel and last much like the first Levi's fabrics did, with a hemp blend. I gotta say the feel is amazing as it is 19oz, but the thickness feels much more like a 14oz, but you do feel it has the weight. It is also like you are wearing a shark skin, you can barely sit with your legs crossed as it will just slide off. Then it is quite neppy and very hairy. I can imagine this fabric will last a lifetime. They do however promise it should fade quite nicely, but we'll see. Not sure how that will look with the rainbow weft. In terms of finish, they use the overlooked inseam, but then they do put a double chain stitch in to it, so should be pretty strong, but granted the double felled stitch is nicer. They also never do tucked belt loops. There are some really interesting fabrics used in Sauce Origin and Sauce Zhan though, and they have literally spent millions on developing them. They also have a 9% linen rainbow weft model. I think however that most of their cuts are not really your thing, since most are fairly slim. The Origin being the exception, but their size tables tell the story, so do study them well if you wanna try one out. The prices are really friendly, so it isn't too big a deal to try some out.
Bronson MFG makes a model called the 801XX 1950s and it’s a nice 14oz Selvedge denim in a wide fit. I have a pair and they’re holding up quite well. They have hidden back pocket rivets and an interesting shade of indigo. Highly recommend
Hi alejandro, would to thank you for the extensive review. I would love to buy a strong guy fit but since im in malaysia, availability is scarce. I would love to hear your opinion on different type of levis vintage clothing.
I don’t mind baggy but those wide leg don’t fit me good. My problem is that I’m on the shorter side, 5’8” and I’m thick waisted, 36/38. I look gangster AF! 😎 I just need a wife beater, locs and some Nike Cortez
I see what you mean my brother! I think if you wanted more of a wide leg appearance, it might behoove you to go with more of a straight fit than a “wide or baggy” fit like what I have. Since I’m about it 6’1”, and have a very long inseam, even baggy jeans look slimmer on me than they really should if that makes sense. The wearers body plays a huge part in the illusion of the silhouette. I would try the straight fit jeans out if you wanna give that type of look a shot! 😃 Hope this helps king! Tuck in the wife pleaser into the straight fit denims and you’re golden king 😎
You’re right, I have a pair of 501’s and that’s about as wide as I like to go. I actually have a pair of the natural linen work pants from Naked & Famous. That fit is pretty wide and they look great. Not gangster at all, they just look lux.
wait according to the measurement chart on tate and yoko you typically wear a 35” waist in their jeans? idk u seem like a decently fit guy so it’s confusing me 😭
Such a dope vid and love the energy I’ve been watching drew for a while and he recommended the strong guys and I am sold after watching this video🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿definitely subbed
You guys have ruined trousers for me. I no longer own any apart from your brand. I'm on to my third pair now. Elephant 13, King of Slub 2, and now the shinigami, the yagasuri, are also whispering into my ear: Buy me, sassy, buy me!
I respect your opinion, I like both personally and I style them quite differently, and I love having that flexibility! Did you check out my videos on the 0105s by the way? 👀 (insert shameless self plug here 🥹)
@@AlejandroJomar I just prefer 100% made in Japan brands. I also prefer brands with more attention to detail of reproduction 501xx eras like the WWII models and 1947 models. Just me personally though. I think N&F is more gimmicky 🤷🏼♂️

They have a 10 inch leg opening so I dunno if they could ever be described as a regular fit
Over the last five years Strong Guy has become my favorite fit from N+F. I’m also a size 42 waist, so I’m happy that they’re size inclusive.

Picked up and hemmed a pair of Oni 222s and I think they're some of the best baggy jeans I've ever worn. Love to see more of this cut.

N&F are great, and the strong guy are phenomenal, among other denim are left hand twill they offer but all are just superb.
this is my first video watching of yours and i love your energy and positivity. subscribed!

If I wear a 31 should I size up to a 32? Measurement chart online says a 32 is actually a 34.
The classic women’s fit is actually quite good too
It's funny because I have actually gotten this recommendation before! I really gotta check those out and see how that works! 👀👀
N&f are some of my favorite jeans I own. Big plus getting them on sale, which make them very affordable for salvage denim!

you can try the APC aaron jeans, fits similiar to the strong guy
what size did you get and did you size up one from your usual size?
If you want premium wide leg selvedge denim you need to try out Graph Zero.
Oh wordddd? 👀 Imma have to check those out bro thank you so much for the rec! 🫡
Jersey or New Yorker ?
Thank you for your video bro!

They need to make a 501 clone. Levi's 501 is perfect for me.
Freenote cloth modesto
Full count 0105 is way better. Naked and famous is hot garbage.

Dude can you help me? I wear 33 w 32 L in Levis, should I buy the same size in naked and famous jeans?
