FINALLY got them in my local T.W. here in Cali and picked up the Blanco and Repo Lot2. Fantastic! I'm also happy to finally complete my tasting of ALL the El Pandillo produced tequilas (including the now removed Primo) While I enjoy ArteNOM 1579 the best, they are ALL great tasty and quality tequilas Felipe makes there. Salud, Lou!🥃

Lote 2 is 4 months, Lote 1 is 7 months aging.

Makes total sense, as we noticed the lack of barrel notes, and consequently, it had more agave forward notes... which we also liked.

@@longislandloutequila7208 Yeah, I struggled with it because lote 1 is my favorite reposado and lote 2 seemed to be stuck in between. I'd gladly drink lote 2 reposado but it's several points down from lote 1 for me. But as you said, as a tequila, lote 2 all day any day.

Didn't even know about this one! The tequila industry is moving too fast! I'm trying to catch up with other 1579 brands like Volans, Primo and Terralta. Even G4 Anejo is tough to find. Will add this to my list! Great review as always Lou & Gregory!
    P.S. Budda 🤣

Looks like I need to pick up a bottle. You two do the best reviews. Love ❤️ those Blancos.

Thanks Bob. I found the lot 2 blanco to have a little more punch. I also found the lot 2 Reposado to be a little closer than lot 1, to a blanco... both amazing

thanks for the reply Lou :)
Nom 1579 makes some tasty stuff
I'm currently tasting side by side LaGrimas del Valle Plata (Which means tears of the valley) against Caballito Cerrero 46% Azul blanco.
