It sounds like your wife and mine would get along really well :D! I agree with your decision to replace the entire panel rather than trying to piece things together.
My wife is not only gracious but also wise. She gives me lots of freedom to go after whatever I think. She also knows I will step into things that would be better if I didn't. I have already gotten the panel in and I am glad I went that route. More to come.
Haha good eye! I am surprised no one else commented about the 68 Camaro. I asked the guy about it and tried to get him to sell it but he wasn’t biting. It was a 396 - 4 speed car. He also had a pretty decent C10 I tried to get.
Yep---as much Love & Effort you got into now, that's a Good Choice. Decreasing the areas of Imperfections for Smooth panel Painting. $400 isn't That terrible. You see my post to JR, about his Nylon Body Hammer?

Atta boy. I was screaming at the screen, "Noooo, don't buy the Morris". I also agree with your decision on the rear quarter panel.
Says the guy with a barn full of cars! I knew I would regret it if I bought it.

Yessir I saw your comment! That hammer was nice.

I am easily drawn to new projects but I am staying with the Midget!! (Good thing I don’t have a bigger garage though)
