Have you considered buying a small sandblaster from Harbor Freight for those hard-to-reach areas? They're cheap and perfect for small stuff to clean. Roll the car onto the driveway and when finished cleaning up is as simple as a leaf blower.
Hi Rob, enjoyed your video as always. One question, how did you make the gentle curve over the length of the patch panel that you made for the rear valance? It looks difficult to do because it’s also curved in the other direction and flanged along bottom.
Thanks. So to create that curve I used a hammer and the beater bag. As you shape the crown in the short distance the metal also wants to curve down the long edge too. So I took my time and by hand tried to keep the long edge from curling too much. For the flange along the bottom I used an air powered flange tool to crimp the metal.
Oh crap!! You may be right. Nothing a drill won’t solve. I might still have the exhaust. I will look and see if I do and if the bracket is still on it. Thanks for noticing.
Great to see you post up a video, thanks 🙏 You’ve reached a major milestone, what an achievement 👍
I know it has been awhile but I finally got some time in the garage. Moving on to some new challenges will be great!
Rob, you're doing GREAT work! Also, liking the music selection.
Haha…thanks! Just trying to spice it up.
You got 'er done! Give yourself a pat on the back. Now on to the fun stuff. i have so much to learn from you.
Thanks for sending pictures. Your Midget looks great!

Thanks for the encouragement! Looking forward to the painting process…I think.

Yes. I have a sandblaster gun that you can siphon straight from a bucket. It is likely what I will use for some of the places you can’t reach easily
Looking good rob
Thanks! I am looking forward to the next stage!
Hello there Mr Rob good job
Thank you sir!

@@robsrestorationgarage great info, Rob. I’ll have to try and get my hands on a beater bag and have a practice. Just use a soft mallet I guess.
I used a tear drop shaped hammer that is made of hard plastic.
@@robsrestorationgarage Thanks for all the advice, Rob. Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing your progress.
The hole in trunk was maybe a bolt to hold the exhaust.
