Driving from Bucharest to Siret - June 2024 - 🇺🇦 🇬🇧 🇷🇴

Hi guys for those who have had no content from me for a long while, apologies, I aim to rectify that in coming months. I am still heavily involved in supporting Ukraine and have a registered charity there now called #sustainukraine. This is a drive in June 2024, heading from Bucharest to Siret via ab overnight in Radauti.
Siret is the border crossing town with Ukraine due North of Bucharest about 500kms or 7 hours drive. Drive is pretty laid back and the road is good most of the way, the only draw back is some sections revert back to single lane so trucks and slow drivers can be a pain in the backside! Also the stretch of road from Buzau to Traian of about 230kms is notorious for holding a morbid statistic of the most deaths in Romania and one of the worst rates in Europe. The road is one lane in each direction with a very wide service lane on each side, so its like one and a half lanes and people drive in the service lane to give way to overtake. Problem is many people don't drive in the service lane or use it to give way which causes frustration and many head on accidents. Once you get to know the stretch though and how to drive on it, its okay. Just relax and stay to the right and keep away from the the idiots who think they own the main lane and refuse to move and come flying up behind you flashing lights etc to get you to move.
Beautiful areas especially as you get up further North. This drive was to get to the border so I could head off to Ukraine for our next aid runs, which I will publish in the next video.
