Beauden Barrett haha yea man I've been lifting for a few years and straight up neglected legs. I knew for many reasons I couldn't keep doing it. I can't even rep 225 and I do that on bench for a few. Thanks for that advice I think I'll do that.
When I first started lifting I only would incline press since it just felt a lot more comfortable. Now I do mostly flat but I've noticed my upper chest is a lot more developed because of my history with incline
I’ve been doing incline bench press for just a week and wife already notices the difference. She says I look a lot broader in shoulders and chest area. I also find it more challenging than regular press
Best way to do it: flat bench for strength, incline for reps. Don't use a shit ton of energy for flat bench by doing lower reps and then after flat bench get on incline and just start going at it
Mason Steele what rep range would you use for incline? I know it’ll be higher for hypertrophy, also would you keep the weight the same throughout or go lower/higher with each incline set
I do incline and have been doing it for the past 6 months my weights have gone up quicker, my form aswell and my max on both flat and incline are the same.. also my chest has grown more then it would on flat! Highly reccomend incline for compoun and flat dumbell for tricep and lower pec😊
I’ve heard so many people say the incline will make your flat bench stronger. The flat bench is just the go to for most people. I prefer incline though.
Interesting insight Brad. I think Both are essential but I've never thought of solely training on Incline. Might try it in a few weeks Upper chest is one of my weakestareas.
Yoo Bradley, firstly congrats on how far you have come bro ive been watching your shit for ages. I donno if you reply to comments or not but ive recently been getting into powerlifting and was wondering if you think its possible to get a good physique while mainly focusing on powerlifting and increasing strength?
Nothing related to the video here I'm just really curious where you got the row bar that the guy in the back is using??!?! It looks awesome and I haven't seen anything like it.
I did this exact same thing. I noticed I wasn’t progressing as much as I should. I did incline for a month and a half. I can now do 300 lbs for 10 reps and 315 lbs for 8 reps. I switched back to incline Im working with 315 x 5 and 300 x 5.
Hey man, just wanted to let you know that I have the bell notification on and youtube still didn't notify me of your new video. 2 hours later I found out on my own without a notification from the bell. Just an fyi since it may be also happening to other people.
When I do incline bench I only feel a burn in my triceps. Am I doing something wrong because the people that taught me how to do incline bench say I'm doing it right.
Yea there are no different parts of the chest, but in terms of focus, you can definitely focus more on the clavicular portion (upper chest) of the chest! Btw the incline press saved my lackluster chest, looks really cool when you wear tank tops lol
I never went hard on incline but my brother was calling me a bitch one day and ended up maxing at 300lbs on incline. So now I do it a lot more but usually never go over 250.
>is subscribed to bradley martyn >has clicked the bell thing ages ago and just checked now that it was in fact pressed >Was not notified about this video 😡
I started doing the muscle voodoo shit automatically without anyone telling me that is a thing, and it feels so good that bradley actually talks about this, bcs it means I aint stupid or crazy lmao
I currently do DB Incline Press as an accessory movement on my push days. I'm planning to do BB Incline Bench as part of my new program that I will be starting in about a month or 2
Yes for me personally I always do that on my workout 1 session. 1: Flat barbell bench 2: Incline barbell press 3: Cable cross. In my second session I do the same just with dumbells so 1: Flat dumbell press 2: Incline dumbell press and 3: A weird movement i learned from athlean X
Yo lmao im so glad people are feeling the whole "only do Atlhean x shit when the gym is empty thing" im 100% the same lmao. Ive stopped doing some shit mid set cause some hot chick came in lol.
Mr Blacky I do 2 chest sessions Per week. 1st sesh: 1: Flat BB Bench 2: incline DB Bench 3: incline Flyes super set with incline close grip DB press 4: Pec Deck 2nd sesh: 1: Incline BB Bench 2: incline DB Bench using slow negatives and superset with incline flyes 3: decline cable cross over focusing on squeeze and stretch
What do You think About close Grip Bench Targeting Upper Peck more I want to work mostly triceps but Also Upper Peck (lower is overpowering) cause it has like a front raise incorporated since you tuck your elbows more I feel like upper peck is growing feel like its developing a fuller peck included upper inside of only lower. Also I do OHP after which hits some upper peck.
Jeff Kewl Start with dumbbells, they work stabilizer muscles which are important for overall health. Once you can get 12 reps for around 100 lbs with dumbbells you should start to use both.
Chest Day: "Can't wait to get my bench stronger"
Leg Day: "Can't wait to get my bench stronger"
😭
we all have been there
Pray for me y'all I stopped skipping leg day.
No Pe same I just started doing leg day and my shit is dead
I'm doing leg day for you, bro
Beauden Barrett haha yea man I've been lifting for a few years and straight up neglected legs. I knew for many reasons I couldn't keep doing it. I can't even rep 225 and I do that on bench for a few. Thanks for that advice I think I'll do that.
Do that shit, when you get to squatting >315 people will awe at you if you go to a somewhat normie gym.
same bro my legs are noodles
I have never in my life seen a dude with a good upper chest but bad lower
When I first started lifting I only would incline press since it just felt a lot more comfortable. Now I do mostly flat but I've noticed my upper chest is a lot more developed because of my history with incline
I barely saw the man in the hat talking...the huge dude in the cutoff doing pull ups was taking up the entire screen
I’ve been doing incline bench press for just a week and wife already notices the difference. She says I look a lot broader in shoulders and chest area. I also find it more challenging than regular press
You spelled incline wrong
Alexliftz Style haha had to check and dam Kevin wtf!

Saaaaame
Dom makes brad look like a 4 year old kid
why do ppl dick ride dom. And what did brad do?
Ray2311us It's a running joke dude
Incline bench has more carry over with overhead press as well.
Notification squad didn’t get a notification AGAIN 😫 #STILLSQUADTHOUGH
Wezz Cringe
pound sand
I hit a 225lb incline bench and it just feels more bad ass then doing it on flat tbh
100% agree. If your not doing *INCLINE BENCH* start incorporating it into your workout. Great movement for building upper pec area....
I do incline and have been doing it for the past 6 months my weights have gone up quicker, my form aswell and my max on both flat and incline are the same.. also my chest has grown more then it would on flat! Highly reccomend incline for compoun and flat dumbell for tricep and lower pec😊
Best 4 chest exercises (in my opinion)
1. Flat Bench
2. Incline Bench
3. Weighted Dip
4. Any type of fly, DB fly, Cable crossover, pec deck, etc
INLCINE
Incline dumbbell is the best size workout on the planet.
@@seheadhunter50 most over rated gym bro excersice on the planet
The only thing flatter than Bradley is the regular bench
Ur a inspiration bro! I train 14 months now and i watch ur vids every day❤️God bless u man
I’ve heard so many people say the incline will make your flat bench stronger. The flat bench is just the go to for most people. I prefer incline though.
Do you do both flat and incline
Peep dom doing like 10 pull-ups then just using his phone for the rest of the vid
His back is already bigger than Kali Muscle
Bradley the type of guy to shower with his cap on
Fra Sia im the kind of guy who has read this same exact comment from diff people on every video brad ever made.
Recycled ass comment.
Looks like Brad is growing his hair out. We might have a no cap moment in the near future!! Title of the video >> "The Big Reveal"
*Stares at (his) bicep* I'm gunna pump the shit outta you lol
Got the sickest pump
Interesting insight Brad. I think Both are essential but I've never thought of solely training on Incline. Might try it in a few weeks Upper chest is one of my weakestareas.

Love hearing Deftones in the background. MAN I WANNA TRAIN AT THE ZOO!!!!
"INLCINE"
Nice one bro
Nothing related to the video here I'm just really curious where you got the row bar that the guy in the back is using??!?! It looks awesome and I haven't seen anything like it.

Great tips! I will apply it today, and stick by it atleast 2- 3 months! 💪🏽👌
Incline and some standing dumbbell shoulder press for a while. Go back to flat and see how much easier it is.
yo brad what trainers are you wearing in this video ?
Hey man, just wanted to let you know that I have the bell notification on and youtube still didn't notify me of your new video. 2 hours later I found out on my own without a notification from the bell. Just an fyi since it may be also happening to other people.
My favorite is thumbs-length inclined-bench pre$$es. But I include decline and flat.
When I do incline bench I only feel a burn in my triceps. Am I doing something wrong because the people that taught me how to do incline bench say I'm doing it right.
Finally a video....where have you been and how's the ankle?
When is the get shredded 2 series coming out?!?!?
Can't talk about bench without the Grand Don of the Gym. Yo boy DOM Mazetti. Here represented by the greatest actor in the world, Mike Tornabene.
Always have done inclines more than flats way better and way less pain in my shoulder joint
Never done an inlcine bench press myself.
I've always received alerts when you post videos. Checked my settings for notifications, but I didn't receive one for this?
Yea there are no different parts of the chest, but in terms of focus, you can definitely focus more on the clavicular portion (upper chest) of the chest! Btw the incline press saved my lackluster chest, looks really cool when you wear tank tops lol
Yes brad if you are 4 you have been benching for 5 years hahah classic brad always with the jokes
I never went hard on incline but my brother was calling me a bitch one day and ended up maxing at 300lbs on incline. So now I do it a lot more but usually never go over 250.
sweet deftones song in the back... one that's often overlooked
Yoooo I needed this thanks
i can bench 80kg on flat bench press. Is it just easy to bench 80 kg on incline bench???
yeah that mental muscle technique arnold use to do back in the day and actually works.
I like doing the incline better with dumbbells. Is it better with barbells or dumbbells?
iRekNoobz dumbells
As a beginner at the age of 45 what do you think of the decline bench press
What happened to the Olympia Videos? Lol
>is subscribed to bradley martyn
>has clicked the bell thing ages ago and just checked now that it was in fact pressed
>Was not notified about this video 😡
Denzel Wilksch RUclips fuckin up.
A chest day a day keeps leg day away
I started doing the muscle voodoo shit automatically without anyone telling me that is a thing, and it feels so good that bradley actually talks about this, bcs it means I aint stupid or crazy lmao
Best. Intro. Possible.
And YES, I am talking about Dom.
Tbh I get the best contractions out of incline and decline. The angles just suit me personally better and I get a better pump.
Is it bad that I only do incline bench press and I can do more weight on incline
Dom's doing some good ass pull ups at 6:43 😂😂
I currently do DB Incline Press as an accessory movement on my push days. I'm planning to do BB Incline Bench as part of my new program that I will be starting in about a month or 2
brad u the man
What about dumbbell press incline? You should do a video on dumbbell press
"Wow that looks amazing.... Alright i dont want to talk about that anymore" hhahaja
Where is that fukn video of brad n kevin hart
Can i do flat bench and incline press on a same day?
Yes for me personally I always do that on my workout 1 session. 1: Flat barbell bench 2: Incline barbell press 3: Cable cross. In my second session I do the same just with dumbells so 1: Flat dumbell press 2: Incline dumbell press and 3: A weird movement i learned from athlean X
hahahha ikr
I used to do incline after flat but for a few months I've been doing incline before flat and I get a much better workout in my chest.
Yo lmao im so glad people are feeling the whole "only do Atlhean x shit when the gym is empty thing" im 100% the same lmao. Ive stopped doing some shit mid set cause some hot chick came in lol.
Mr Blacky I do 2 chest sessions Per week. 1st sesh: 1: Flat BB Bench 2: incline DB Bench 3: incline Flyes super set with incline close grip DB press 4: Pec Deck
2nd sesh: 1: Incline BB Bench 2: incline DB Bench using slow negatives and superset with incline flyes 3: decline cable cross over focusing on squeeze and stretch
Brad you got that pump in before the video like usual didn't you lmao
Dom definitely on some shit bro.
I want to see Mike O'Hearn and Bradley Martyn colab.
Incline Bench Press.... OR Inlcine Bench?
Oh well since were all still here...I almost had a good reason to miss Leg day yesterday,so I
Is that Nadeem in the backround!?!?!
no we want to see the rest of the olympia trip brooooooo
I missed those workout tips videos. Give us more tips master.
We rep incline to the fullest.
how do you build a wide chest though? is the incline or flat better for it??
Watching this before class #SQUAD
More videos about techniques , diet, and different exercises!
why did the think about the muscle made sense to me.
Is it okay doing both?
Brad the type of guy to touch the bar to his hat on every rep of the bench press.
i like how this video came out as soon as i told my self I'm going to do only incline for a while since I'm lacking on my upper chest.
Prowess of the gym bro
What do You think About close Grip Bench Targeting Upper Peck more I want to work mostly triceps but Also Upper Peck (lower is overpowering) cause it has like a front raise incorporated since you tuck your elbows more I feel like upper peck is growing feel like its developing a fuller peck included upper inside of only lower.

will get back to the gym and vlog it. it will be in swedish with sub. bench is great
someone just PUFFED !!! before this video...lol Red Eye
Bradley make a shoulder workout
Deftones in the background 🤘🤘🤘
Bradley what is your take on decline presses
I've recently started working out and I was wondering if I should stick with DBs for awhile until I get a base or go straight into BB? Any thoughts?
Jeff Kewl I would say it's important to do both.
Kicking Stuff makes sense. I'll just just rotate them both in
Jeff Kewl Start with dumbbells, they work stabilizer muscles which are important for overall health. Once you can get 12 reps for around 100 lbs with dumbbells you should start to use both.
Props for listening to bad omens
You need to start uploading more workout vids bro, anyone else miss them?
This vid feels more like a brad vid from like a couple years ago, he seems more relaxed.
Can a skinny boy train in your gym Comfortably?
Did anyone else notice that the title has a typo? XD
Man.. I used to watch brad all day when he first came out.. he has gotten smaller
What If you do both + cable flayes 2x a week?
How has it gone bro ?
What's your thought on decline bench?
Yo Big Brad M, you always mention that your right side is your bad side ? how come ? what was the injury ?
Anthony Horvath it's not an injury, it's normal for an arm to be more developed than the other.
Who's that massive dude at the end of the video completely dwarfing brad??
How the hell did the guy doing pull-ups in the back even fit through the door? He is massive as fuck
Brad do a NFL COMBINE video.
