I almost died when that little dog came running out, Lucky you got your crew and quick reactions. That day almost turned to shit real quick.
The father has class , burying his holes is a huge sign or respect for others.
Atta boy sir great job and good job to all.
Leaving the holes serves as a warning to others where filled tracks are a trap.
Well either ways he did what he thought was right and didn't sit around n be lazy!
He also did a bit of digging around his truck.
Maybe some sort of warning instead like a cross or skull land crossbones.
Such a screen name might preclude you from commenting on classiness.
@@lb10445 oh man...you destroyed him...lol
I'm holding out for the ED action figure with real talking weather reports and gold prospecting accessories.
And accessory M&M peanuts.
They're still working out how to get the sandblasted finish to the face. There's some history in those features, maybe someday we'll find out.
You know, I met Ed and mentioned I had a creek on my property that had produced a little gold in the past. He immediately got my phone number and said he wanted to try dredging it, 50-50 split if he found anything. That guy's serious.
Jimmy James seriously?
Edit: I knew a guy who would “barrel up” 50 gallon drums of “leftover” dredging and spend the harsh winter inside sorting & sifting them (typically 100-150 barrels). Every spring he would cash in at least 20k of gold and one time 60k.
@@flipnotrab that's a helluva cleanup on tailings! I would only get a few grams on mine on a second wash
Lizzy seems like someone who spreads her good mood to everyone around her
I think it’s very cool how you guys started handing out shirts after recoveries.
I keep saying a ballcap option would be great too!
Robert Drake yes! This would be awesome.
Best shirt ever!
yep i agree and only for a small price of $2999.99
@Todd m hahah 3 x L winder towing shirts - $149.99 LOL
Who would have guessed that the demand for toy Banana Jeeps would crash his site! I think you better order some more
probably a crappy host with limited servers
$28 for the non signed ones... in this economy thats pretty darn expensive. Hopefully they still have some, (or at least get more in), in a few months.
@@danielb6472 the value of those years later will skyrocket its a johny lightning limited edition. the value will be crazy and signed ones will be probably more.
@@gearhead9115 my wife said ok, and I got my signed Banana today. I put it up with my other collectable cars and kinda love it.
It's a deceiving upper dry crust. Once it breaks, your vehicle sinks. We buried a beefed up- 72 Dodge power wagon with front and rear lockers to the point that ground water got into the cab. A semi-truck wrecker struggled to pull us out. Worst stuck situation that we have ever faced. We try to stay away from drying out ponds, lakes and river beds if at all possible. Love your videos Matt. Keep em coming...
Once you get stuck down to the floorboards depth with water and mud, the suction created is equal to 3x weight of the stuck vehicle. So a 3000lb truck needs 9,000lbs of tow force to unstick. KERR (kinetic energy recovery ropes) (in this case Yankum ropes) have limits, as do attachment points for rated recovery hooks (not drawbar/towballs. It is gentler to use a winch in "floorboard depth" mud recoveries. The recoveries on Matt's show are barely stuck at all in relative terms.....but the Yankums showed their worth. One thing..big heavy steel shackles are a missile in the middle of the ropes. If either rope snaps, that missile hits the towing or the towed truck. Believe it or not, but the tow straps can be joined by interleaving the eyes and using a rolled up newspaper or paper magazine as the joiner...it will hold...and it won't impact like a steel shackle if anything goes wrong.
Just ordered the autographed banana for my 3 year old grandson. He sits in my lap all the time and loves watching all the recovery videos! It is an honor to support such a clean, fun, educational channel for the whole family! May God continue to bless you all each and every day! Eric B :)
"What were you doing"
"just being dumb"
Story of my life
I can relate more than you know. 😂
cool.
Me too buddy, me too.....
yeah I felt that
when I'm dumb it takes me 100x more effort to recover from it than the "just being smart" effort requires. That little I do know.
I laughed out loud when Lizzy just cranks the wheel and the power steering is just a squealing. I could see Matt's internal screaming but he was so chill about it. What a great person to work for. Respect
The dude was nice by filling the pit ... well done! It was a close call with the dog.
Lizzy you put a smile on my face everytime I see you
Do the toy jeep tires come off the bead just like the real thing?
😂
LOL
You Went There!!!!! 🤣😉
😂😂😂
That's some funny shit there lol
I run a 50ton wrecker, but would give it up any day to do the recoveries you do Matt. I love the show.
That mini banana needs to come with a mini Yankum rope, I have a few Hot Wheels stuck in the mud here in Idaho. LOL
Dude I don’t think Fluffy realized how close to death she came there!!!
Also I love Johnny lightening! Can’t wait pick one up. Edit: Just got my trucks in the mail today, they are sweeeet!!
Matt is so level headed, we need more of that in this world!
@Sunyata What makes you say that?
Lizzie’s a good sport...admits when she’s wrong and corrects her actions without blaming other folks. She learns quickly. She’s a “keeper,” Matt. Scary about the little dog. Maybe folks should leash or hold their animals while you’re yankin their vehicles. Would save a lot of heartache. Love your channel.
That’s Matt’s dogs lol he don’t care
@@Sflhunter he didn't have any in the Jeep when driving up. Those aren't the dogs he usually brings.
"Were you in Park, Lizzi?" "Yes, I was, Oops" How could you get mad at that cheery, cheeky, grin?
Dizzy lizzy !!!! You go girl !!!!!
That had to have really taxed the drive train....to say the least ....
The world needs more Lizzy and Matt.
"This is going to take special equipment"
Yellow banana = special equipment
;)
Lizzie is very special equipment!
Love this channel, It must be totally weird to go from tow company to Internet star. Be interesting to hear Matt do a video about the experience.
Matt, and wonderful Family, Staff , Dogs and all other contributors to this, one of the very best, RUclips channels. I congratulate you on your continued growth, the content, the variety are all interesting, exciting, amusing, informative and very very refreshing to watch in these very difficult times. But the biggest draw to the channel time and time again is the wonderful people who feature, Yourself (Matt), Jaymie, your wonderful Boys, their friends, Edd, Recovery Staff, workshop staff, Fab Rats and not forgetting all those lovely customers, without who, you would have no channel. Its all Good. Love from the UK.
Your very welcome, You all deserve it. Well Done.
Matts Offroad and his Yellow Banana single handedly pulls internet out of the gutter. Thanks
The part with Lizzy not having it in gear had me laughing as I had a similar experience a couple years ago lol. My brother and I were hooked up tandem with our F250s to pull out my niece's husband when he got his fully loaded semi stuck in some mud and deep snow. On the first yank we didn't even so much as rock the semi a bit forward. Found out he forgot to put it in gear. After that we were able to pull him right out on the second try lol. Gotta love how well kinetic ropes work.
I've done the same thing with an Isuzu Rodeo and Thunderbird. Made sure my wheels were straight and the parking brake was off, but never took the Thunderbird out of park.
Last year we were pulling a yacht out of the water for winter, usually the work truck and a quad are enough but this damn thing wasn’t moving. Me and my buddy asked the boss, “are all the lines off, can you double check?” He stubbornly refused. Eventually my truck got added to the line, so you have a f-250, a tundra and 500 Honda all pulling and the boss refuses to double check that lines are off. When the boss went to the bathroom my coworker did a walk around and found the aft line still tied and that we had bent the dock.
I stopped to jumpstart a Mini Cooper and it wasn’t starting. I was sitting there scratching my head after checking all the connections for the third time when I realized my key was still in the off position
I was on a tractor trying to pull out a stuck semi and trailer. Was about to give up when we realized he had the brakes on the entire time.
You know it’s gonna be expensive when you get a T-shirt
New edition t-shirt: “My friend got stuck at Sand Hollow and all I got was this lousy t-shirt”
Not as expensive as ignorance wrecking a Razor or low profile car that has no business being in sand, rocks.
"Ive been towed by winders" rear signed on the T -shirt ha ha!
is lizzy Matts daughter? does anyone know by chance?
Thank you Rudy for asking what they were doing out there and how long they'd been trying to get out. I'm always curious how they ended up in their situation.
Between lizzy ,bananashenanigans and the successful tugs you've got the makings of a sitcom.your whole crew are great !!!!!......
Yay! The Jeeps are here! My boys will be so excited! How bad did your hand cramp signing those?
Now we need Paul's taco to make a neat set😄
It's crazy how good some jeeps are.. I have a WJ with hydro diffs. It will go anyway as long as you never high center it.
I love watching your posts. Since you started showing the ropes to your daughter I'm began to show more interest as me too I'm showing my daughter to follow my steps.I feel for you.
Not his daughter. Family friend's daughter.
Lizzy is the NEW Tow Mater! Worlds best backerds driver😁
Lizzy, in my humble opinion you're still Da Bomb, you go girl! I'm a fan, can you tell?
Lizzy's weather report was spot on! Randy's goofy smile cracks me up, Matt doing what he does best, PRICELESS!
They are a great team!
4:28 your censor skills have come a long way from the stop signs 😂 nice work
Are you saying you don't miss the floating stop signs?
Bryan Hensley haha maybe a little but now it’s a badge of honor for og subscribers only to know
We used to hear "just being dumb" or something similar a lot. Got to love those mud recoveries. Cleaning equipment for a week afterwards. You've got those kinetic ropes down to a science. Wish we had those back in the day. We used mooring lines. Nice work.
Your own Johnny Lightning Jeep. Gotta get one of those. Major collector I am..... Hou guys Rock Man...
Lizzie's doing great! Better than having the customer drive and hope they can follow directions.
@ I would gladly have an employee with good attitude and good work ethic. Everybody makes mistakes.
@ Everybody has a moment every now and then except you right ? LOL , it's cool to see a young woman out there learning the ropes . She's a cutie too and not on the phone all the time like most others her age .
Look out, the goons, white knights, and creepers are gonna get worked up.
Get Lizzie watching lockpicking lawyer and Bosnian bill and she won’t need keys to remove locked hitches.
omg... i watch both of them lol
Lol make sure there are a couple of red bull cans floating around
The locking-type hitch pins aren't always hardened - I saw a guy cut through one with a sawzall in less than 5 seconds. Still might be slower than LPL, though. In any case, that's all I have for you today, and as always, have a nice day.
Those two are a special type of amazing when it comes to lock picking!!
@@2450logan That'll go over a few people's head :D Cool reference !!
A wonderful, hard working family that knows what their doing. Love it
Some day in the future in a meeting... "So how did you become a millionaire?" "I made a RUclips channel about my work and sold toy cars to grownups..." xD
So, basically how everyone on the internet gets rich.
Yes..keep it up...
Where are T-shirts and Hoodies on the success scale. I'm guessing before toy cars.
@@jeepmor If 437K subscribers all buy a lil yellow banana, maybe Matt can upgrade his trailer...
@@azkendaren9129 Or rather, all his radiator so they can quit splashing bottled water....
My heart stopped when the dog almost got hit. Great job guys!
Yes
That little dog had a death wish!
Same my stomach dropped
I'm surprised I had to scroll down as far as I did before I saw this comment.
This channel deserves the love it’s getting and the growth that’s coming for it! These videos are so well edited and put together. Keep it up Matt
Matt, You forgot that the signal for ready is when the backup lights come on.
Lizzy was messing with him. 👍
@@Z-Bart And Matt was messing with her when he yanked it hard enough to bounce her head off the horn. :)
Kids like, "hey are we going to put a winch on the Jeep?" Matts like "well we kinda have to now". 😕 Lolz.
Strain Hunter literally not even close to what he said lol. He said “I think we’re going to”
@@Johnsmith66999 just saying what he was probably thinking.
Rudy-- Oh, hi dad, EPIC!! I like that the cust. grabbed the shovel and cleaned up after himself, good job. I can see Ed playing with the toys "vroom, vroom"
As a mechanical engineer I appreciate the science time! Law of diminishing returns! 🤣😂
I understand perfectly why Lizzie is on the channel,..and I enjoy that fact immensely ... may the Lord grant you patience while she develops her technical expertise....
So when you look through the window on the little yellow bananas with a magnifying glass is the check engine light on?
Lmfao
No theres a microscopic piece of tape over the light
It'sa jeep that feature never lights up, eventually they just explode. (ex Grand Cherokee owner.)
@@azkendaren9129 if it's off, that means the bulb is burned out, not that it's ok...
That’s a stand up guy, offering to fill his deep ruts back in for the next guy!
Great recovery! Cheers from Romania!
Just suggesting, fabricate a pulley that attaches to the side of the trailer to make the cable pull sideways which ever way you need to have it pull. Then you do not need to always adjust the damaged vehicle to pull it on. Make the pulley slide-able the full length of the trailer so you can get the right angle.
Good to know Rudy and Lizzy will be keeping the family business going after you retire and take Ed's place on the calls
Hmm water on the right, reeds on the left.
Could it possibly be swampy underneath?
Here I am, stuck in the middle... 🎶
It never hurts to walk it first 🙃👍
Her eyes... they pierce my soul!
“Do you have the key to the hitch”?
LockPickingLawyer: “Nobody had a strip of soda can”?
or, "the key would just slow us down, because I'd have to wait for you to get it out of your pocket."
It’s funny how people that watch some channels and watch others that you also watch
LPL would only need a paper clip or a twig.
Matt, we have been watching your videos for a few days now and just became subscribed to stay up to date. Don't worry about what other people are saying to you. Keep doing you. I used to tow trucks back in the day and it isn't easy. I used to recover car accidents and flip overs. If they haven't done it they don't know. Stay safe! The Garcia family
Matt, all you need now are the action figures, including an Ed complete with cigarette or bag of M&Ms😁.
384k subs and growing fast i remember when i found this chanel you had just a few thousand. Nice congratulations on your chanel your crew and your great content. More to come. Thanks Matt's offroad recovery
I feel like I am learning a lot about driving off road by watching these videos.
Matt, i was here when you only had a few thousand subs, now you're at 385 000 and still going up! I'm so happy for all of you guys you've put so much efforts into this and now your own little Banana toys is just amazing! Congrats to all of you for keeping up and improving this channel video after video! Footage are now amazing and with Lizzy and Rudy showing up in most episode is making the whole thing so nice to watch! Every time i see Lizzy learning and enjoying the adventures it wraps a smile all around my face :) You guys are doing an amazing team work all together and all the fun smiles and positive energy coming out of all of you is what makes this channel my favourite of all.
do I need another toy Jeep? Nope. Do I want that signed and limited edition banana? HECK YES!!!!!!
I want Ed's signature...and the temperature when he signed 😂😂
Matt: "This definitely take special equipment"
get the all job done with rope and piece of chain 😀
My Grandkids and I love watching and reenacting your recoveries. They can't wait to get their own Yellow Bananas!!
Matt just got my signed Jeep ordered. Meeting you and the time you spent with my wife and I showing us around your shop was something I don’t think I will forget you are cool dude. I can’t wait to see you start having the funds to start all them Projects you have I hope this one yellow Jeep gets you closer.
The Johnny Lightning Jeep is so cool. Wish I could buy one but it's a little much for me. Glad your channel is doing so well!
“Hey Dad are you actually going to put a winch in the front of your Jeep?” Lol
I don’t know why, but I just keep watching every episode available. Love it. Matt, Randy. Cute Lizzy. So fun. Thank you
Don't feel bad Lizzy. That's not half as bad as getting a push start 3 times before realizing the key isn't turned on. ;-) Great job everybody! I want a mini Banana!!
That intro gave me a heart attack!
Man that first guy just sounded so defeated. Felt bad for him.
Love you all! Want my Winder Jeep!
Got myself a tiny Cherokee ordered. Glad to support the fun.
Back of shirt says, "most expensive trip to Sand Hollow ever"
Or once there was a rental car and now I have a t-shirt
I’m down with his accountability “ I was being dumb”
Darres Jolmes to be fair the professional recovery team also just put a LOT of unnecessary force on that dudes park brake... I would have attached all the vehicles together
Dude! I love the videos! Keep them coming, great recovery vids! Love the crew and camera guys
That is really neat handing out your company T shirts to your valuable customers!
Question about the mini jeeps. Is the check engine light on? 😂😂😂
I knew exactly when the titan started up. Tick tick tick tick
Ed's a super cool guy, both of you are lucky to be such gr8 friends...
Matt is so patient... With everyone... Very rare quality...
How has Lizzy not broken her phone yet? Hahaha, nice video :) love how easy you make it look. My motto, work smarter not harder!
Matt says, "This definitely takes special equipment" turns around an calls Lizzy in. 😊
Close call with the dog!
Glad nothing bad happened and you got all three out of the mud.
You guys are really fun to watch. Great content. Seem like genuine people. Keep up the good work.
Well, Matt has officially broken the internet with the mini banana.
Lizzy remember me of Heather Thomas in the Fall Guy...
He'll yes. Probably throws a punch like Colt, too. But as we've seen, sometimes drives like Howie. 🤣
Man I loved that show!
I love it man! The t-shirts were a great idea but these Johnny Lightning mini jeeps are pure genius! Very cool! 😎
And I love that you take your daughter with ya to help out. Thank God she takes after her momma though!😅
Just placed my order. Can’t wait to get it. Keep up the great content and stay safe.
This is going to require special equipment, proceeds to use the same old regular stretch rope lol
Ya, but hooks two together, usually just uses one, that makes it special!!!!!!

Just Ordered my Signed Yellow Banana and a Tee. Thanks All you Guys and Gals are awesome . Keep the videos coming they are the high lite of my day.
Congrats on the success. Love watching... And learning.
Talking about signing merch'. Did you hear about that RUclipsr "Mr. Beast" having to sign right at 70.000 shirts? lol. He said on a video that he would sign every limited edition shirt that sold by a certain day, and they sold 70.000 of them. They made a video about it, and time-lapsed it. I bet he'll never do that again. lol.
I bet his pain was sweetened when he checked into his bank account, tho....
Lizzys Eyes 😍
Ed's comment was hysterical, I cracked up! " The wheels turn, and I play with them all the time." Matt, your look you gave him was the best!
So happy to see you guys love what you do. Big fan of randy

Lol hes _salty!_
"You wouldn't have been able to without *that rope"*
_wahhhh_
I thought it was good advertising for Yankum Ropes. I enjoyed Matt talking about the science behind the 50ft vs 80, and his own experience. Salty for sure, but he still got a T shirt
Carpal tunnel in full effect after signing all those!
I'm not sure how old you are but I just turned 55. Back in the late 80s and early to mid 90s my friends and I did a lot of 4 wheeling. We never went alone and everything we had was lifted with at least 35s and gears. We weren't like these people I see on here in stock vehicles and we always always got out. We played in the mud and abandoned quarries in Missouri. Do you remember when they came out with the snatch and straps 4"x30'? I bought one for $90 which was a lot back then. Everyone was banging with chains and not getting out. I had a 3/4 ton F 250 lifted a few inches with 35s. 4:10.1 limited slips and port fuel injected 460. Everyone called me when they dared out alone. I just wondered if you remember those straps.
OMG!!!! Y'ALL FIGURED THE BLUR RATHER THAN THE STOP SIGN!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!
