"I can see my grandmother!" -I never had that with Blood Money, also in blood money you could knock out people by "shielding" there were no subs in BM. They started in Absolution.
So, I believe the hippo is actually talking about mendoza. “When the wine is poured the blood will flow” refers to the closing statement where tamara vidal gets shot after the wine gets poured. “Don’t dance the dance of death” refers to Diana poisoning 47 with sedative poison during the exit where you dance with Diana.
I thought it was a reference to the Donnie Darko, the scene where he mentioned Hungry Hungry Hippos, and that an apparition is talking to him. Who knows!

According to another comment, he only takes the leap if you've subdued/killed her guard. This means that firing him while the guard is alive keeps him from going over the edge (literally and figuratively) while also protecting the guard from the core cleansing. Even if they're not truly friends (as is confirmed by her personal guard's realization), the simple fact that he was around to listen to Bolt could be enough to keep Bolt going if fired (even if the guard isn't cognizant of Bolt's ideations, simply mentioning his mom needing him could keep him from jumping). My question is where do the other two end up going after being hit with Code 41...I wonder if the safety manager is somewhere out of the way, watching the proceedings with sadistic glee.
7:55 it wasn't in the preface but the hippo's rant about bug powder and Interzone is a reference to William S Burroughs's novel, Naked Lunch (and possibly the David Cronenberg adaptation of the same name).
Hello yes, while this may sound dumb, this is the same person as Missingindy, but now on a different account, cuz the previous one was actually my mother’s account Anyways, correction; they’re dead
In hitman 1 on the Bangkok level if you stand on the scale in the bathroom of 47s suite it displays 47 as his weight Edit: turns out it's on any scale in the game, as I've also checked in Hawkes bay and it works on all the scales there too
Apparently Imogen has absolutely lines for the subdue without pressing the button thing, straight up random stuff like "uhhh you know any good movie I can watch?"
Hitman always had some cool ones. I remember playing blood money and doing the Easter egg where you're on the boat and you turn everyone into zombies. I would go around just shotgunning everyone 🤣
if you kill one of the chief brothers in mendoza, the remain brother sit down near the door above the security room and starts cry so bad you feel very guilty about that.
Makes sense that you'd feel some guilt over causing an innocent man's suicide...you're not a remorseless robot like 47 is 😉 Second to the sadness felt with Bolt's death, though, has to be Héctor Delgado doing himself in if 47 chucks Andrea Martinez into the river as she's reading his letter. He thinks she killed herself because of him, goes to the family mansion, gets a bit of the family product, then jumps from one of the balconies himself. That said, the one of the three that I feel has the most valid reason to act in this way is also the one who is the one I feel the least sad for...Alexa Carlisle. The other two are basically going through things we've all had to deal with in life (loss of a job, loss of a relationship...but in the latter case, he literally watched his ex die because of "him") while Carlisle just couldn't handle the shock of her brother's death, her impending mortality, and the thought that she caused the deaths of both of her brothers (Montgomery was a joint venture with Zachary, while Zachary's "suicide" could have been due to long-running guilt for that murder) was too much for her, so she'd rather be dead than have to live with those thoughts. As a tangent, I believe that Zachary is the only character to appear in multiple missions without ever being seen alive in the game. Approximately 6 characters make multiple appearances, 1 of whom appears both alive and dead (Janus), but Zachary is dead in both Death In The Family and the elusive target mission The Procurers (where he's the current source of Roe's "special ingredients").
19:30 on Athena savalas on the magazine was also a reference from rim of the world "aint no mountin high enough ain't no valley low enough to stop me from getting to you"
More likely a reference to the 1967 song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" performed by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell...or the 1970 version by Diana Ross.
Damn he also human. Did he break the fourth wall. And he breathing and smoking. Hmm must also be fourth wall break. Oh damn he walking too. Must be a fourth wall break.
I like how that guy was there to witness all of 47’s murders, which I have to say would’ve been suspicious on his part, the police never thought a guy who was there all the time for each murder was suspicious, oh wait he’s a cook, nevermind!
Interestingly, there's at least *three* folks we can get to commit suicide in the game (not that suicide is an interesting topic...just that they're all fairly subtle about it and people arent often aware of the consequences of their actions). First is obviously Jeremy Bolt (which I didn't know about)...despondent over the loss of his job and with no one to talk to (except his mom), he spirals into a depression that leads to his death (but only if Imogen's personal guard is knocked out/dead). Secondly, if Hercule 47 tells Madame Carlisle her brother Zachary killed himself, she'll give you the files you seek, go to her balcony for a think, then launch herself earthward. Finally, Héctor Delgado (Rico's brother and Andrea's former boyfriend) can be made to finish himself off if you deliver his letter to Andrea and then throw her from the balcony. He takes that to mean she read his letter and, instead of taking him back or telling him off, she'd rather die...he then heads to the mansion, does a bit of the family product, and then leaps from a mansion balcony himself. 47's unintended hit list is slowly approaching his contracted kills...

Probably about Diana “when the wine is poured, the blood will flow” the Argentina mission is in a wine factory, “Don’t dance the dance of death” Diana asks you to dance at the end of the Argentina mission
One of the subdue lines is “You were stronger in Blood Money.”
And I love it

"I can see my grandmother!" -I never had that with Blood Money, also in blood money you could knock out people by "shielding" there were no subs in BM. They started in Absolution.
She may say instead"this is the most dull assassination I have endured, seriously" she Also might say literally instead of seriously
But in the end the dance was the way 47 could get to Edward so if he heard the hippo he would lose his target…
I was just abt to comment that, also the hippo saying you are on your own always have been referencing how his duo with Diana wouldn’t work out
