I love the shorts- I have that pattern but not made it up yet. You have encouraged me to use it but maybe in the spring. I am SO disappointed your jumpsuit is self drafted- was about to rush off and order it as I love it so much!!! You looked stunning in your outfit- absolutely gorgeous. I don’t even know if I can replicate the jumpsuit, I think I will try to make the top part up as a top as I really liked the off the shoulder look. Hi Deb, it was lovely to be able to come up and introduce myself to you on Saturday night. It was my first Frocktails and while I didn't know anyone there, I had a great time admiring all the fabulous makes. They wet stunning and I just wanted to stroke all the gorgeous fabric! Deb, your Frocktail outfit looks lovely on you. The purple skirt is beautiful love love the colour. Is the top you are wearing a Love Notion t shirt hack or l think l can remember you made a big 4 pattern like that. How did you do the band on your shorts. I really like that? Your shorts look like a great fit. I have traced out my pattern to make them. If l make a pair of shorts to test the fit and if they hang nice, when l make the pants would l need to do another test as they are longer. Thanks
Thanks Libby the shot organza is really a lovely fabric for a fake organza. The t shirt could be the love notions with changes but you think I would have cut a new pattern if you changed it but it is not in the packet, it's not in there. I followed the instructions (I know is me how unusual), interfaced the front waistband only, sewed the waistband onto the pants all the way around, stitched down the back section only and inserted the elastic, sewed it on the sides and then stitched down the front waistband, it is the way I would have created to do it anyway.
