Hey folks - hope you're all fantastic!!!!!
I´m great ( spelling...?) from Sweden
Not yet....but I'm getting there!
Yes thank you…..especially now your getting a book out!!
Hey GP how are you holding up with all the Green Initiatives going on over there? I'm not trying to get political but are things going to affect your business?
I'm fine thanks 🙂 Hope you and your family also feel good ❣
From Sweden with Love 🤗
I am a dairy farmer in France. I don't understand how a farmer can leave his animals in such a bad state. What a lack of respect for them. Thanks to you for having trimmed her hoof, but unfortunately her state of health seems to be bad.
How long would it take for a hoof to grow that long? I would guess she skipped a couple routine trims, but I am not familiar enough with cows to know how quickly their hooves grow when they aren't being word down by walking,
Love how the cow looks back at you after the trim is done. I think they know that you just made their feet more comfortable and are thanking you by looking back before leaving. I love and really enjoy watching your videos; from NB Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️
I agree. From Red Deer AB 🇨🇦🐃
Or it might be that the cow is looking back to memorize the face so that next time it catches him alone she'll trample him!
😂😂😂😂😂
@@randallsmerna384 Either or 😂😂😂😂 graham will have to watch his back!
The cow was just curious who the weird guy with the camera is.
They're looking back and thinking, "What was that?!!"
So I'm not a farmer or in anyway associated with animals. I had no idea that I would find these so satisfying to watch. Your passion for the care of these cows really shows. Thanks for the great content.
Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him Who sits on the throne, And to The Lamb, forever and ever

I love it when the cows turn around after testing out their new trim. Saying “thanks for the help and relief “. What great feeling that must be.
I don’t know anything about the hoof length, but I can tell that is far from normal
She did seem quite relieved
if anything that cow is grateful this guy finally did the one thing its owner should have had taken care of AGES ago. it's going back to its life wading through feces until something else gets infected or overgrown again, like every other cow on this guys channel.
*I was going to write that!* 🤣
I am reminded of the line, "A stitch in time saves nine." When simple problems aren't caught and changed, one problem layers on another problem and it gets to something like you have in this video. I am sincerely hoping you can find your way through to a workable repair, even if it takes multiple trims to get there. I am glad you explain that this cow had an ankle infection that started distortion. For her, the result was uncomfortable but comfort can be restored to a large degree. That was a pretty normal walk when she got out out of the crush. Nice work.
It brought tears to my eyes when she took a few steps, realized how different she felt and stopped to turn around and looked as if to "thank you".
I like your channel. There's always something satisfying and comforting here. Figure that with all the hate and strife and noise in the world, it's nice to see simple humanity and kindness at work.
Thanks for posting.
I love it when you show the girls walking after their pedicure!
RUclips needs a HEART button just for the HoofGP. Your content is better than any network programming. Please keep up the wonderful videos. ❤️❤️
What you do to help these cows is wonderful!!
I always love to see the girls turn around when you’re done helping them. I believe they can feel the difference and look back to figure out what just happened to make things better. If a cow could say thank you, this is the way they’d do it. 🐄❤️🐄
Wow great trim you can actually still see the cow lifting her leg higher, compensating for the overgrowth. Im sure she’s happy you helped her
A great video-again!! I appreciated the music’s volume: it was relaxing and didn’t interfere with the main content. Thank you for making these; I’m a professional counselor and trying to decide if I need therapy for enjoying something so far removed from who I am! 😂 I think your authenticity is the magnet . . .
So cute how she backed out of the crush! Good thing there was no oncoming traffic! Love, love, love your curls….wish you’d wear eye protection.
I can smell the farm smell through the screen. It reminds me of when I was young visiting my friends farm up in northern Pennsylvania. Good times.
I love that you talk directly with the farmer about why and how the cow's claw contorted that way! You change these cow's lives for the better making them more comfortable.
Hopefully the farmer will now take better care of this cow and others in his care.
@@conniepfannerstill817 my thought is that this cow quite possibly was new to the farm, farmers are always buying more animals at auction.
Graham, I LOVE your videos and how caring you are towards the animals! You do a fantastic job and those cows are lucky to have you in that beautiful area. I wish you'd wear your eye protection more often tho... all that debris flying around is an eye injury waiting to happen! Don't make me come over there and give you a 'seeing to' ! LOL....seriously tho.... EYE PROTECTION PLEASE... all the time! The cows need you !
I was thinking the same thing!
Hello 👋 Kandi. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Zack Hudson and am from Denver Colorado,, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
So glad she's walking better. It was nice to see her realize, "That normal feeling I get from my foot as of late isn't there anymore. I feel so much better." It's just so nice to see her reaction like that.
I always think that look back at you after you've sorted their feet out is a thank you.
Graham where is your eye protection? You lose your sight you lose your job of taking care of all those cow’s.
I found the HGP by accident and have been watching all your videos, and a few of the other shows like the HGP. Yours by far is the best one, and I look forward to your next video so remember, safety first. For you and the crew along with the 🐂🐂🐂
Was just thinking that too!
First thought I had too.
That inside claw is insane!!!
That was gratifying to watch. She was walking so well at the end. 😊
It's funny that no one is accusing the farmer of animal abuse. This is abuse to let an animal go that long without being cared for. He should be reported!
Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him Who sits on the throne, And to The Lamb, forever and ever
She looks so happy. You did fantastic!!!
Another interesting case, for sure! A job well done! Congrats! And I enjoyed your comments on why the hoof was deformed, thanks.
Hello 👋 Nancy. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Zack Hudson and am from Denver Colorado,, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Thank you for what you do. I am a retired farmers wife in Kentucky. With Setting up my garden for the fall and winter it makes for a busy day. It’s actually relaxing to Watch someone take such good care of animals.
Thank you for your great compassion for animals! It was at the end, and I noticed yet another "look back in gratitude".
A beautiful video!
Wow! What a contorted hoof. Good work Graeme.
Always love your videos, as a bioveterinary student at uni ❤️
There’s something always oddly satisfying about watching you and the crew work, sometimes makes me wish I could work out there
I am so glad these cows have a great hoof trimmer, they deserve the best because they work 24/7 for the farmers. I love your videos please keep it up your doing amazing work! ❤️💜💚😎
Hello 👋 Lauralie. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Zack Hudson and am from Denver Colorado,, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
As a dairy farmer in NZ mate, Been watching your videos for couple of months and you and your family do amazing job with the girls mate.
I'm not a farmer, I'm not even sure how your videos popped up in my feed but I'm so glad they did! Such great work and absolutely fascinating to watch, I'm now watching these daily before I go to bed 😁 Keep up the great work, you're AMAZING!! 😍
I feel the same. It’s so satisfying to watch the transition!
Did a fantastic job. Thank you for helping her. And it’s nice the cows say thank you.
Thank you for providing wholesome, entertaining, and educational content. In a world of politically or socially driven tidal waves, my family and I can just enjoy the current of what you provide. Thank you, Mr. Parker. 🍻
Why did they let
Her feet overgrow? That’s so cruel
Such a satisfying act of human kindness (at least I hope) thanks for sharing.
This video surely illustrates the knowledge and experience needed to be an excellent hoof trimmer. Another trim well done! Keep 'em coming.
My gosh, you're so wonderful. I've thought 💭 about this often and I have often thought too that the Wild Steer's and Wild Horse's had this Hoof and Claw problem about overgrown shape. I'm sure glad to see you.
Mad respect for the care and love you have for these animals. 🤜
Graeme you show so much love and compassion to these cows. That is why I love your videos! Your compassion for animals that too many people think are stupid and ignorant, when in reality, they are in a lot of ways, smarter than dogs! They also are more loving and protective of their master. Cows are amazing! Keep up the great work and continue to put out great videos like this one. 👍👍!
She can't say thank you but I can. thank you for helping her and working on her feet. I really enjoy watching you do this for cows.
Love your posts❤ reminds me of my farm days as a girl.
Am I the only weirdo that noticed this cow had a third set of teats? Ya, I'm a country girl and my dad was a veterinarian, so I notice the odd stuff!
I sure do enjoy these videos. Thanks Hoof GP!!
@hollybromley I have never had anything to do with raising cows or being around them except at county fairs. But I do know animal anatomy, and I noticed that the udder was uneven! But did not rewind to delve deeper into it. Thank you very much for mentioning that. From Maine USA 🇺🇸
That was a huge foot....I cant believe how well it turned out after you had finished with her. Glad she had no underlying problems, great job 💛💛
Wow! That was a doozie! She walked out smooth as can be. Yeah Team Graeme! 👍🇺🇸❤️
Thank you Graham in the name of cows !!! ☺🙏💚🌺...
*Thank you for your service* in helping keep these cows as comfortable as possible. ❤️
I think thats the longest overgrown hoof I've seen. She looked quite happy when she was all finished. I think that she will be glad to see you stop by again to do her pedi!
That's OK you can fix anything. Do people ever ask to bring a single cow to you? Do you ever go to small farms with 1-10 cows? How is the bull that lost the whole bottom of his hoof. I cried when he couldn't get up. It was so heat wrenching. I was so afraid he would have to be put down, but like always you fixed him up. Thank you for what you do.
As much as hoof trimmers want to, they can't fix everything. That's the reality of it. When they can't fix it, they try to keep them as comfortable as possible with each visit. Between visits, some farmers do the best they can to keep them comfortable.
Graeme bought a second crush. This one. It's small enough that he can operate it on his own. Now he can go to farms to check out individual cows and fix them up, or work emergency calls, or do rechecks. Then he can catch up with Craigie and brother-in-law to continue working the regular herds. 🐃🐄🐂💜
he's had at least one episode where he went to trim someone's singular pet cow. but stuff like that seems to be mostly favours for friends/the community.
@@azoreaneve4777 yea I saw that episode. I think she was a long time friend of his dads
@@westzed23 this is his 3rd crush. They still have the one Craigie boy laid over and the KVK. This crush has the single belly band so can only lift one back foot at a time.
After watching one of your videos about a dairy farm that makes Millionaire Shortbread ice cream, I looked it up. Been making the non-ice cream version and it has become everyone’s favorite. Also, it has become my favorite story to tell how I found out about it 😂
Really good job Graham. What a difference that trim made. Your explanations make the video so much more interesting, and the do help the viewer understand what is going on. ( Well, they help me anyway )
I’m sure she felt immediately better.
Another ‘feel good’ video.
Thanks for posting Graham.
I’ve been subscribed 2 ur channel 4 a long time & I don’t even know the first thing about cows feet but I love watching u work ur so kind & compassionate towards the cows ur treat. I really admire ur dedication
So sweet, how she looks back at you, Graeme…as if to say: “Dude…how did you do that? Feels great - Thank you”.
Like so many others have said…you’ve really got us hooked, Graeme. It’s like Veterinary Biology meets Detective work meets Art form. And all underlined with your care and concern for these bovine beauties, and your clients. This isn’t a job…it’s a calling, like Nursing or being a Vet. You have to be willing to put up with a lot of crap (in your case, manure) but you do it because you know you can make a difference. Well Done !
Love watching your videos, my grandpa had farms in Brazil all his life and every time we were there I was helping, miss waking up 6am to drink warm milk direct from cow to my mug, good memories.
GRREAT JOB GRAHAM!!!👌😃
THAT SWEET GIRL EVEN TURNED AROUND AFTERWARDS TO SAY "THANK YOU"!!!...DID YOU CATCH IT??...SOO SWEET!!!😍💜💕🐄🐂🐃😊🙋🙏➕👍👌🇺🇸
Hello 👋 Lisa. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Zack Hudson and am from Denver Colorado,, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Great Work making these cows more comfortable.
Hiya 🌞, enjoy your trim,as usual- please take care and wear your safety goggles!😊 Regards, J.I.M.K Mrs. Australia ❤ 🇦🇺
I know nothing about caring for cows. You make it very interesting. Thank you! I could listen to you talk all day- loving the accent!
Love the videos keep up the great work!! Mi regards from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷.
Your videos are so interesting, such a skilled hoof trimmer. I asked my Mom when we milked cows if we had problems like this. We had Holsteins too and she said we did not but our climate here in Iowa (USA) is not wet and humid like Scotland. It makes me feel so good inside to see these cows put on the road to recovery. Thank you for taking care of all the "Moo cows"!
Good to see these repairs bring a better gait to her walking. Another great job, Graeme! I am missing the jokes and verbal bantering of you and Craig!
I love all the compassion you have for these gentle giants. Thank you for all that you do to keep them happy.
Fantastic job, man. Great to see her walking like that again! 👌
A man with endless compassion. Love your videos. Much love.😔
What a difference! I love what you do on these videos!
Man the way you treat the animals with kindness and compassion is great to see. New subscriber!
How long would it take for a hood to get to that length? I’m curious how the farmer didn’t notice it was before it got to that stage.
was going to ask the same
It was probably a cow bought at auction. I think they get a little better price if the cow needs attention
@@brendahouston7830 That just passes the question to the previous owner.
If they were obtained at auction it can often happen. Places that breed them can often not worry too much about them as they only have them for short term and it will be the farmer's problem.
It may have been on pasture since early last spring and no one looking her over closely. She’s a beef cow not milking.
Good work 👏
One of the BEST hoof trimming videos I've seen! (I have watched a few LOL). Well done!!
Thank you for checking and checking to make sure it looks good for her to walk on and especially thank you for not rushing and taking your time for her sake. You are truly up above all. I have cows (Florida, USA) and have never had to have their hooves worked on.
Good job thank you for helping this cow I love watching videos like this
G'day mate from Australia!
Stumbled across your videos by accident and I'm totally hooked! So fascinating to watch you work, your explanations of what your doing and the follow ups. Thank you for sharing this unknown yet so important service to the Agricultural sector.
When you first put the grinder to the overgrown horn, my thought was " where in that overgrowth is the foot?" I was concerned that you may cut into it trying to alleviate the overgrowth. But all of my knowledge of cattle feet comes from watching you and I knew you would take care of her. That you.🙂
What a precious sweetheart! Thank you for helping these helpless animals! God bless you and your work!!!
It seems to me that you and your hoof trimming team are getting a little lax about safety matters. The last 3 videos Mr Farmer Husband and I have noticed that you haven't been using your safety masks. It just takes 1 fractious cow or slight slip of the grinder to cause damage.
Be very careful. PS great job on this little lady's hoof.
I thought the same!
I'm glad I wasn't the only one noticing the lack of safety glasses or face shield, with all those shards of horn flying around...
Yip noticed that as well.
eye protection should ABSOLUTELY be worn at least when using the grinder.
Wow! That girl looks back at you saying hey! Whatever u just did feels great, we r now friends. Love it and thank you so much for the care u take in each cow, bull, buffalo u trim.
First, let me send condolences for the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Second, that hoof was incredible! It's clear the infection left scarring in the ankle, and warped the hoof growth. I hope that's temporary.
You do fantastic work, and it's obvious the cattle are grateful, as seen in those looks back. Cheers!
TheHoofGP is the man! This was amazing. I'm from Oklahoma where our cattle mean the world to us. I didn't even know this hoof trimming was a thing until I started watching you.
Keep up the great work!!
GP, what is it going to take to have you wear eye protection during every trim? If you can’t do it for yourself, do it for all of the people who depend on you and all of the people (like me), who care about you! ❤
I don’t know cows or cows’ hoofs, but I’m willing to bet that getting one of those specks in your eyes would be very unpleasant.
Whhoow. You continue to blow me away with your skill and compassion. 👍 God Bless
The look in her eyes and the drool from her schnoz makes the work all worth it I guess. Well done! Such satisfying work.
Biggest hoof ever.. and no face shield ! You’re going to lose an eyeball
Hands down one of my favorite farrier videos, you did a fabulous job with her and she thanked you for it ...
Didn't take her long to realise she no longer had to lift her leg as high to walk. She initially was lifting that leg high, but by the end back in her pen, she was walking normally. Great outcome.
I enjoy watching a trade I will not do, especially when the gentleman doing the work takes such professional pride in his work. Good work!
From notification bar ...your thumbnail looked sooO wrong💀💀💀
Watching from Ghana, just love your work videos
Is this usually the result of new cattle coming into the farm? I can’t imagine this not happening due to neglect whether malicious or not. Of course it’s rare but makes me wonder why it does occur.
There have been other cases he's done with severely neglected/infected/malformed hooves on cattle that had been recently purchased as a lot. Cows that are purchased in such a fashion often are the products of a farmer going out of business or a less than ethical farmer just selling off problem cases instead of paying to have the appropriate care.
This is like buying a horse at an auction: you're going to get a lot of glue nags because people just want to get rid of their "problems" instead of appropriately dealing with them.
And sometimes, you just get a cow that escapes detection or capture for a long time. Can't trim a cow if you can't catch her for whatever reason.
That looks like one happy cow. Thank you for sharing!
First! Also i love your videos, keep up the amazing work ^^
Yup! 🥇🏆🍾
Wow! Huge difference and she looks much happier.
I wonder- why don’t you wear goggles? Don’t the hoof shavings fly in your face?
He does, safety squints!
It's not the hoof that's the problem. It's what's stuck to it
When im machining plastic or even steel there are chips that COULD fly into my eye. But what i found when i wear safety glasses, they can trap a red hot steel chip AGAINST your eye. So. Best not to wear them.
@outerthoughts30 a red hot chip isnt going to fall out it will melt in. You are wearing the wrong goggles.
@@jamiesquirrel5283 …or. Just dont wear them.
My favorite part is always when those sweet cows turn at the end & with those big eyes seem to say,"thank you Graeme for helping me to feel better, I love my new pedicure"!
🖤🐄🤍🐂🤎
Imagine having an infection that's so bad that the bones in your foot rearrange! 😔
Let me tell you, it hurts immensely 😑
I never knew your profession existed which is sad since I’m writing this from Iowa!! I really like how you care about the cows. For some odd reason it’s so satisfying watching you do your cow magic. The smell has to be horrendous. Better you than me. Glad you liked LA. Stop by Iowa next time. We’ve got a few million cows you could work on. Be safe. God save the King!!
Poor cow hope she gets better her owner should of treated her sooner animal’s need better attention great job for helping her
disgusting, neglect let it get that bad. Shameful excuse for a farmer.
Interesting! I am amazed that I can actually understand this and thank you for speaking clearly.
Looks like an horn, not hoof!!
Wow that was an ugly hoof. But as always you did an amazing job at making her feel better. You rock!!!
Thank you Hoof GP, you're doing a fantastic job.
