Tourette's it not a choice by any means & what comes out of your mouth can't be controlled period, so please get yourself educated before u leave any comments that are rude or hurtful in any type of way to another person, as u have no idea what its like in the daily life of having Tourette's Syndrome. Take care Zara Beth, your a wonderful woman who is truly helping out others to understand this health condition. Thanks for all the video shares & educating all of us too Sweetie! ❤😊❤
What a nasty comment from that girl in the back of your classroom 🤯😳 If it is easy to have tourettes 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ she clearly doesn't know what she is talking about... I think you are a brave girl who handles this absolutely amazing! Much respect! ❤
@Алена Вершинина "that she wanted" to have tourettes so that she can say anything what she will (without the consequences that she gets now when she is cussing... this part is between the lines. She didn't say that, but that's what she meant) Shameless, in my opinion, like if it is fun to have tourettes 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ the girl in the back really doesn't know what it is to have this condition...
@@12afdfaf yeah I agree... so sad to see someone commenting that they wished they had it, just for the benefit of no consequences 😕 She needs to watch her videos to get more educated on tourettes...
I know right! My best friend has tourettes just like her where she does say swears or inappropriate things sometimes. It actually is really hard to have tourettes. It could mess with your job, your grades, your overall education, just everyday things. That girl acts like it's easy-
I had a kid who sat at my table say something like that girl did TO MY FACE. I was like, uh no, trust me plenty of people will still get mad at you even if you have tics and explain that to them. It’s not fun to be inappropriate when you can’t turn it off, and you can’t choose what you tic. And if I did start purposefully being awful to people and blaming my tics, it could mean they don’t believe me when I really do have a rude tic, which is not something anyone with tics wants to risk.
It's refreshing to see a realistic representation of what it's like living with tics. I also find that my tics interfere with my day to some extent but it often isn't extremely dramatic. And my tics come out the worst when I'm alone so other people usually aren't around to see the dramatic moments anyway.
I hate when people comment on your disability right in front of you like you can't hear them. Im sorry some people are just rude like that. Don't worry about them. Youre awesome!
The girl in the back clearly doesn’t know how hard it is to have Tourette’s. Sometimes i wish people like her could experience things like Tourette’s for a day, and see how hard it is. You’re amazing, and you help many people :))
From what I've heard, feeling very intense emotions like being mad can worsen tics, but being sad could make them disappear completely. It may just depend on the person
I love your videos SO MUCH! They make me feel so much more confident & safe in letting my tics out at school! Also, what that girl said is so out of pocket. 😤 She clearly has NO IDEA about the struggles of actually having Tourette’s. It’s not something you want…😭
So happy im early !! I have recently joined your discord server but everyone is so supportive and caring. I have had tics for about a year but parents would never let me get diagnosed so finding your community has given me some peace in knowing that its okay .
The "Realizing I'm stuck" made laugh a bit because of how cute you were 😂❤ But those classmates were so disrespectful. How can you say something like that? You're a fantastic person 🌸
And 380k now!!! 😁 Well deserved, love your channel sooo very much. My older sister had Tourette’s syndrome as a child, she dealt with multiple different tics but the worst one was a repetitive hitting of her chest with her (usually) right hand. It was so hard to see her bright red skin after a difficult day (and the bruises could get super intense) and seeing her so frustrated broke my heart. I’m four and a half years younger then she is and her tics started disappearing when she was around eleven. I’m 34 now and I have memory issues but I still have some super vivid memories of the years she went though this, they were scary at first but pretty quickly just became a thing that happened and we got lucky that she didn’t deal with any bullying or trouble with adults (who can sometimes be sooo much worse then kids when it comes to acceptance). I hate that she had to go through it but I’m glad that my parents jumped right on it and got all of the information and support they could. It also helped because when it turned out later that we both have bipolar disorder and anxiety disorders (also OCD, ADD and hypersomnia for me) my parents already had a basic understanding of helping children through really difficult sh*t. They’re super understanding and empathetic and I’m so grateful for that. Well that was a bit of an over-share/rant (not uncommon for me lol) all in order to say I love what you’re doing, I appreciate you, I’m proud of you and thank you for sharing your world with us. 💜
I really appreciate your videos. I have tics and I'm afraid to let them out in public, so I tend to suppress most of them, which leads to major discomfort and them getting worse later on. It makes me anxious, stressed, and I suspect it makes me more vulnerable to developing new tics when I do let them out. Your videos show it's okay to have tics and that you can deal with it even when people are mean and/or misunderstand them. You are definitely always in the right when people make nasty comments about them. That's something I struggle with, as I technically could just suppress most of them for the sake of other people. But for the reasons above, I don't want to. I truly wish I could just let out my tics and not suppress them all day long (even though I still tic a lot because some of my tics have no premonitory urges). It really takes my focus away from what I'm doing. I'm working on being able to let them out because suppression is bad for you.
oh my goshhhhh.. i hate when people use mental or physical illness as some type of quirk. you have no idea how much youve helped me through my own things, zara. love you so much ❤️❤️
I have tourettes so I can say what ever I want? She must be SO insecure in order to pick on someone with a disability. We all support you and I'm proud you are doing so well and ignoring all the snippy little comments they throw out there keep it up
You are amazingly sweet. From how you responded to the ignorant comments to the cute bless you. It's amazing how quiet you can keep them in this setting.
I have started to have tics and some boy mimicked me on my bus once. It’s not nice but it was kinda funny to see him dancing around, stay strong and don’t let anyone get you down 😊
Hell yea. If anyone is talking about you and you're right in the room with them, then turn around and look directly at them. Perhaps they'll ask a question, or just go on about their business without looking ridiculous. I've been learning here watching your videos. You're such a strong girl. Back when I was in school that would have caused a ruckus and I would have gotten suspend or detention. I'm from America though so... you know lol. Have a good day ✌️
I have tics and still am in school. I haven't had them for a full year so I am not diginosed with tourettes. I am starting highschool this year and I am pretty nervous because I am homeschooled for 8th grade and haven't been in school with tics. Watching this video has helped me and I feel more prepared for highschool so I wanna say thank you :)
I absolutely love how you try and stay positive no matter what! I hope you realize how beautiful and unique you are and never let anything stop you from being great! 💕
Omg, they're in college. That girl that said 'I'll have tourette's and I'll say anything' needs to grow up and get educated that tourette's is no laughing matter
Thanks for making video's of your life with tics. I have tourette as well and i admire your strength to show your life with tics to the World. I am jalous of your currage to do that. It kind of give me strength as well so thank you so much!❤ proud of you
Thanks for posting, I'm using some of your videos for my exposure therapy because seeing people tic makes me tic more, so I have to watch and try not to tic to learn control. So far it's working well!
Hi! I just started watching your channel and I have instantly fallen in love with it. I think you are so brave sharing this and ignore what that girl said. People say things all the time: haters can be horrible but don't let them get to you because you are better then them. ❤
Thank's so much for sharing. I think this is very helpful for kids to help them understand about tics in general and Tourettes. Best regards from Sweden.
Last semester in one of my classes I would always sit next to this guy with tourettes. I have sensory processing disorder but I really liked how his tics were patterns, it was really calming for me. Unfortunately I started echoing his tics due to my autism... So when he'd click I'd click. He thought it was funny even though I was super embarrassed haha

Question here: When someone is rude to you like the girl in the beginning, and upsets you, does that intensify your tics temporarily?
From what I've heard, feeling very intense emotions like being mad can worsen tics, but being sad could make them disappear completely. It may just depend on the person
Aw Zara ik how it feels to get insecure over your tics and thinking it's ugly. Dw tho none of us judge you and we love you so much!

The girl in the back talking crap!
Me: why?, just why
You are such a beautiful young woman. People that are making comments find your back are children and have not grown up enough to understand what you go through. Don't let those people bother you because YOU ARE BETTER THAN THEM. ❤
She did not just say that!

To the girl that treated you , just reply with a good middle finger "oops that one was wanted :) "
The girl that said that in the beginning is INCREDIBLY immature and rude. I’m so sorry. You are a amazing person, don’t let her get you down!
You are such a kind person, ignore the nasty and rude comments :) They're just jealous of you bae 💓

I love the small f bombs and middle fingers 😂
I have Tourette’s and it’s really hard when somebody is just like “I could say anything if I tell them I have tourettes ”. Like bro I can’t control it😞 also I just hit the wall withhs my arm really hard and it hurt 😭
Hi Zara how was your day today
Man I wish I ticced as soft as you. I have a loud voice anyway, and my tics are always loud with lots of coprolalia.
Such a shame, seems like a very intelligent lady, don’t worry what they say in the background, worst comes to worse let yiur ticks go wild on them, after all yiu can say anything right ❤❤😊😊😊 don’t ever change who you are! 🎉
The fact that that girl said “I’ll have Tourette’s, then I can just say anything” just makes her sound stupid. She clearly doesn’t know what it’s like to have Tourette’s. It’s not like we chose to have a neurological disorder, we just do.
I worred I might have Tourette’s idk why but I’m worred i think I’ve had tics before without knowing it was actually tics
First of all, you are so pretty! And also please don’t listen to anything that people say because you are amazing just the way you are
My second son out of five boys has tourettes and his mom and I tried every medicine on the market. Most didn't work, and those that helped some made him feel Quote "not like me daddy"! So we would take him off the meds. A pediatrician told us that we should try THC! so at about 14 we got him some. And to our surprise, it worked extremely well for him!!! It cut down his ticks tremendously!!!! The ticks did not go away though, but it helped him feel as though he wasn't a slave to them! I hope and pray for you to find what works for you the most without changing who you are! BTW, son is now in 30's and has a wonderful family of his own!
Can’t believe someone really had to say that.
I love your vids you inspire me not to hide my Tourette’s express them to other people and not to be scared. I have Tourette’s to❤
Don’t be so embarrassed because you are beautiful!!!
I think your a little past 98k, and in only 3 weeks
Happy Mother’s Day everyone!
Happy Mother’s Day! 🎉

I don’t have Tourette’s but I’m very neurodivergent. I snap, say words that come out unintentionally and very randomly and I get very twitchy to the point where I need to put my head down and just try breathing.
You're amazing first Zara Beth (:
I know this won't help, or make it better. People like that are attention seekers. They get jealous that attention is not on them. I honestly do not suffer from this.
