I think you have very little idea of science and specially core science else you would have compared CV Raman, SN Bose, JC Bose, PC Mahalonobish, Subramanyam Chandrashekhar and Srinivas Ramanuja with the others, the others specially APJ abdul Kalam were not scientist in real sense and more of engineers who lead a team of engineers on making something, but the ones I referred to above are the pioneers of their field who created scientific theories that changes the whole paradigm of how physics and maths were thought of. Here I am keeping Hargobind Khorana and Salim Ali aside as they were from other fields of medicine and ornithology.
