- Hello and welcome back to another episode of Train Sim Classic!
In today's video we're going to be taking a ride on the absolutely delightful Class 802 which has been enhanced with the Armstrong Powerhouse Enhancement Pack. This scenario is another one of Magictoad's fantastic collection and sees us driving this service between Manchester Victoria and Liverpool Lime Street on a miserable Sunday afternoon.
It's the weekend of the Eurovision 2023 finals, and so there's an extra little surprise en route today which really did look good flying up and down between Liverpool and Manchester. Traffic is light however that doesn't mean it's a boring run!

I liv in Astley (home of the Astley Level Crossing). I am so thrilled to see it on Tarin Sim😊. We have a lot of train history here and under the crossing is actually hay bales to dampen the load.
Only if it was like this on Eurovision days! I work for NT and it was packed! Never seen so many people crammed on a 319! Sundays youd see more 319s on the route with LIV-WMLs running alongside 331s. I believe theres 2 or 3 diagrams.
It's the start of the M602 from Regent Street in Salford and goes up to the M60, continuing on this motorway towards Warrington and Liverpool becomes the M62
Amazing video, Joe. A week ago I tried to purchase train simulator and succeeded but with terrible frames and crashes. I managed to get a refund but I am horribly distraught that I haven't been able to play this amazing game
The amount of times I get the train between Newton and Liverpool is insane why am I watching a video on it 😂
Don’t even play train sim but seeing newton-le-willows recreated in a game is slightly heart warming 😂

Hello Joe, long time listener second time caller as I accidentally got the last comment deleted. If you're still interested, the viaduct at 34:00 used to provide access over the Ditton (WCML) and Chat Moss lines into the Edge Hill Marshalling Girdiron (located where the Drax wagons are). It also connected to a balloon loop which, presumably provided direct access for the Waterloo Docks and Wapping Docks goods stations either side of the Lime Street tunnels. The loop crossed over the Chat Moss line next to the now Wavertree Technology Park station. Hope that helps!

Amazing video, i was at Liverpool Lime Street on Friday 26th may, i boarded the 802 at York but after Manchester Victoria we only Called at newton-le-willows and the same on the return. Yes the Scarborough line would be nice to see on this simulator. I travelled from Scarborough to Liverpool and then back again.

Chat moss is 75 because it was basically built on a bog 😂
Salford central is closed at the moment and has no platforms as they are doing it up for another few months so people should not be on it!

I still play Simrail in my own time :) I just hadn’t thought to do a video on it for a bit, but yeah I’ll add it to the list hehe
