- Hello and welcome to Train Simulator Classic!
We're back on The Hope Valley line by Just Trains today, taking a look at another fantastic section of track which branches off at New Mills, and heads via Romiley into Manchester Piccadilly. This particular section of line is used as a diversion for both TransPennine Express and East Midlands Railway in case of disruption, and plays host to many different Northern stopping services.
Today we'll be taking a Class 150/2 from Chinley, right the way through to Manchester Piccadilly, on an almost all stops service. I'm really impressed by the little details we find in this journey today, and I'm really hoping you guys love it too!

17:21 That junction doesn't come from rose hill but from hyde north station which is the start of the branch that comes off of the glossop line shortly after guide bridge and comes round towards romiley, to the right after romiley it brings you to Rose Hill Marple. The northern service to Rose hill Marple takes this route.

Just stumbled across this video almost by accident Joe, and I really enjoyed it. I treated myself to this route for Christmas and think it's absolutely fantastic. I'm now a huge fan of your channel, more of the same please.
The Cross overs in Romiley and Bredbury are emergency only. Romiley Jct Box Closed now .that was my first job as train booker 1980 xxxx
The low level is long closed jct to Stockport Tiviot Dale connects with line from Woodley on the Guide Bridge Route 😊😊😊😊😊
Another brilliant video shout out to Bredbury, was happy to see you pass my station. When you leave my station and you notice the line going underneath you, that is used for the tarmac stone aggregates and for Bredbury recycling centre. It is also part of the old tiviot Dale line from Stockport. Also when you cross over the reddish Vale viaduct you pass through a tunnel. The line through reddish south and Denton, two of the least used stations in greater Manchester passes over you, that is the Stockport to stalybridge line, used more by freight
Talking of 'high platforms', I think there's a few at Clapham Junction. Maybe platform 17 is one of the big ones? I also remember a year or so back when I was at the station a guy getting on the train with his dog on the leash; as he jumped on, the dog didn't jump and the leash connection broke, and the dog, which was small, a Yorkshire terrier I think, went straight under the train. The owner almost lost his mind (obviously), but the gap was big enough for him to lay down on the platform, lean through the gap and pick his dog up... definitely a hairy moment...
Line to the right at Romiley is used by Rose Hill services, calling at Woodley, Hyde Central & Hyde North (some) before joining the Woodhead/Glossop line at Hyde Jn towards Guide Bridge
That’s the one! 😄 it’s Hyde north where it joins onto the hadfield line isn’t it, but there’s no platforms on the hadfield line just the Woodley ones

another great video xxxx. New Mills South Junction signal for New Mills Central is track approach maybe if you treat as red signal and approach at caution it will work properly. i work this route all the time and you have to approach with caution because of heavy falling gradient xxxx
years ago in the 90s was working ballast at Ryder Brow had to get police out because kids were throwing things at staff working on track.
The line to the right goes via ashburys
The bug with the people walking on the track happens a lot at Cowdenbeath on the fife circle line
Shame you can’t see Manchester City’s stadium as it dwarfs the skyline all round there
Awesome scenario again Joe!. Loved every minute of it. The scenery was just breathtaking even during a rainy day. Attention to detail is insane on this game. Do you work for a railway company? Thanks for sharing mate 🙂

I think Just Trains will eventually expand the MML all the way to St Pancras, just speculation but I'm sure they will :D
hi i have bought train sim classic it came with a birmigham section think they are class 323 in carer i can not get any of them to move everything else works what i am i doing wrong m8
