I need to declutter all the inherited Christmas decorations, I already did photo albums, I ended up making scrapbooks of old notes, cards, and other mementos from mom and dad. I have no kids or family left to will anything to so I dont know why I keep this stuff lol! Happy Valentines Day you guys!❤
I have hit the ground running and de-cluttered about 20 garbage bags of items thus far. My grandmother has passed away about 15 years now and I have finally been able to do away with her slippers that I had inherited. They were in great condition and I wore them out, but could not part with them because they were so special to me. They have sat in a box for about 3 years now and this week I was ready to throw them away. My grandmother was very special to me and I have the beautiful memories, but at 63, I don't need or want the clutter. I never thought that I would get here, but I did and it feels great!!!! I will be continuing to de-clutter!!! Thanks for the motivation.
I’ve just been through all these areas, but I really appreciate the comments about sentimental items and how as we change and grow, sometimes those sentimental items either are no longer sentimental or bring up feelings that you don’t need in your life. I love too that someone said you can break up sets of things and just keep the one or two pieces that truly mean something to you. You don’t need to hang on to something bc it’s sentimental to your mom or dad or someone…just keep what’s meaningful to YOU 💖❤️🥰
Hi Ashlynne! I was late to the January decluttering challenge so I started this month. I only have two days left-days 19 and 20! I counted as items things I’d been putting off and took care of. It has refreshed our home tremendously. Thank you for the inspiration.💗
Your videos are so enjoyable and you always have a lovely smile smile and good advice, but I'm not sure I'll stay subscribed, because lately these declutter videos have a feeling of déjà vu or even groundhog day, repeating the same tips and showing familiar footage.
Thank you soo much for sharing Ashlynne! Love your organisation skills and how you make it so simple for us to de clutter! You’re my great inspiration ❤
I am in the process of decluttering. We have been in our how just over a year, I tell myself if I haven't used something in this year it is going. Now to get my husband on board! LOL
Most of the areas are already done in my house, but I still need to do the art stuff. I have way too many hobbies and also too much stuff for them 😅. I just don’t know where to start to be honest. I tried but I like everything so much and as soon as I touch something I get an idea what to make with it. The problem is that I don’t really make those things 😊.
@@spirituallysafe you r right I need to cut down on owning so many I started not buying unnecessary stuff and donating stuff will look at my bags too to donate
@@spirituallysafe lol I know right! We havnt been able to agree on what it is going to be yet. I think he needs to use it for his tools they over run the rest of the house.
What’s one thing (or one area) that you want to declutter in 2024? 🤍

Yes!! 🙌🙌 Couldn’t agree more with this!
Hoping to finally get my clothes down to just favorites and things I actually enjoy wearing. Also, toys!
Love that!!
I definitely need to declutter in many of these categories. This will definitely be a spring/summer cleaning project.
Love that!! 🙌🙌

Haha I get that!! I think that realization is an important one though! If you won’t actually use it, it’s not worth holding onto 🤍🤍
That sounds like "fantasy self syndrome" 😊
