Btw. this is a repost of Trip report from October 2018, which I deleted due to low quality (uploaded in 720p only).
This video I shoot on my airBaltic flight from Riga (RIX) to Berlin Tegel (TXL). Flight operates a new Airbus A220-300.
airBaltic is a state-owned Latvian low-cost carrier and the country's flag carrier. airBaltic hub is at Riga International Airport. Their fleet comprised of the Airbus A220-300, Boeing 737-500/300 and Dash8-Q400 aircrafts.

Those duty free shops are the best!! You should see the duty-free shop at Copenhagen Kastrup. It’s HUGE!! The A220 looks like a mini A350. Great upload!! 👍👍

The cs300 is an amazing airplane. Finely engineered, with great attention to detail. Feels very spacious and airy. Lots of storage in the overheads. Very quiet too. Can't say enough good things about it. Who knew that the next best aircraft wouldn't be a siperjumbo, but a narrow body short to mid haul bird from a second tier manufacturer? Bravo, Bombardier!

Your Tripreport has really done it to me! The recordings of your departure from Riga to Tegel were in very good length. Short menu also shown very nice and the landing on Berlin Tegel was first cream… in german words.

It is a very nice looking CS300 (I like to call it that way - being Canadian). I like the take-off view where you can see both the wings and the engine. Great report!
Thanks! Yes, I like this aircraft too :-) Btw. I prefer to call CS too.. my first flight on this aircraft was when the airbus is not owned C-series program (it was Swiss CS100).

BTW. From the latvian exact translation of "Izlidošana" means "Off-flying" - so it is more exact than roman "departure"... we also have "Off-riding" for ground transport.

Thanks! Yes, A220 is amazing aircraft, now is my best narrow-body! And another from narrow-bodies what I like, is ERJ 190/195 (but A220 is much better). And yours?
@@PeteBrandy Currently, I really love flying on the A320 fleet for narrow-bodies :)
However I do hope I could try the A220 someday. Sadly we don't have any A220 aircrafts operating in Asia yet

CS300 (OK, A220 :-D) is my favorite short-haul aircraft :-) I agree with you, airBaltic is much better, in my opinion one of the best Low cost carriers in Europe (together with Norwegian). :-)

Díky :-) Já mám dojem, že A220 má okno u všech řad, dokonce i na WC :-D Akorát bych byl opatrnější s 2. řadou za exitem (cca 14 - 15 řada podle konfigurace), kde jsou okna maličko dál od sebe a v poslední řadě před exitem je jen půlka okna (12. nebo 13.)
Hi, can you answer me a question please? I'm going from Riga to Dublin and I'm thinking in flying with airbaltic but I have a problem with my ears. Can you please tell me how the noise inside of the plaine during the flight compares with Ryanair? Because the noise on their plaine is the worst....

Thanks so much! About noise, it depends on the aircraft, but what I saw, direct flights to Dublin are operated by A220, is much quieter than Ryanair's Boeing 737. I only recommend to not sit in the rear, all aircrafts are more noisy in the rear of cabin. But A220 is a new generation of aircrafts with quieter engines, Ryanair operates older Boeings 737-800 and especially within the take-off are bit noisy :-D

The first few rows are business class
Yes, this is the Business Class specialty of European airlines, that use classic seats in business, only with blocked mingle seat. Many European airlines using full business w flat-beds for a long-hauls only :-D
