We went to Tanzania a couple of years ago and loved it. We didn't use Air Tanzania, but savoured the delights of Precision Air and criss crossed the Serengeti with Coastal Airlines. We ended up in Zanzibar, and if you want to experience the full chaos of an African airport, that's the place to sample it 🙂. It was a great holiday, wonderful country and lovely people, I'll be interested to hear how you see it.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of Business Class on Air Tanzania. Did you get a glimpse of Economy? What was it like? African aviation has certainly improved since I lived over there. I think some of the East African nations are leading the way, which is the reverse of how it used to be. Happy New Year to you, Racheal and the family. Much love to you, thank you for all you do and here's to a 2021 full of adventure.

The rock that you pointed out in the lake, is natural. All around the lake, on the shores, there are rocks like that, perched like they're ready to fall....especially in the hills surrounding the lake. Different mineral types, worn away by water at different rates. Don't go in the water.......lots of hungry crocs. lol

So great to see you able to fly without a mask again! I hope the U.S. will follow Tanzania's lead before much longer. Also I'm glad Bombardier has come up with this modern follow-up to the long line of McDonnell-Douglas and Fokker jets that seat 3-2 in economy (which is probably the closest I'll ever get to experiencing the glorious 2-3-2 of the 767 again). I refuse to call it an Airbus, they simply bought the rights to it from Bombardier, but either way it looks like a great plane that I would be perfectly comfortable in for up to 3 or 4 hours. Maybe more if I knew for sure I could get the 2-side or an aisle on the 3-side, but I'd probably still prefer the Embraer 170/190 where both sides are 2-sides. Also I love how they played the Jurassic Park theme during boarding!

I swear to god, I`m hearing the beginning of a local accent, you have been in Africa so long, you genuinely love this place, it shows through you passion Noel.
Woman "economy class, you have to queue over their" Noel "please don`t put me with the great unwashed, I`ve eaten KFC at Base Camp to get me this far and almost passed out"
After much faffing about gate 5, look at that beautiful A220. Loved your 2020 African adventures Noel, thanks for brining us along, its been a buzz.
Colours in the sky when you started rolling were incredible, even the paper cup is the coolest ever.

"Must have taken a hundred men or more to do that".... Love the Toto - Africa Lyric Drop Noel did there!

I served in the military a long time ago, and I had to fly on Military aircrafts from time to time. That's when we were given box lunches. Now that they are handing out box lunches in business class, I don't feel so bad:)

I recently just flew Air Canada's A220 on the Vancouver/Montreal route. Just over 5hrs and the experience wasn't bad at all. It's not as roomy as the typical A330/787 on the route but it was still very comfortable. Would be absolutely happy to do it again!
