I quite like the level of detail you go into about each piece, it makes it more informative and valuable for me as someone considering the patterns and the yarns used. I also love these types of videos so the fact that there are several is totally fine for me! It is a lot more digestible in parts vs one super long video.
What a coincidence that it was your pictures and your project of the square neck tank top that made me decide to knit my first garment for myself and you have a youtube channel. Wow! I just started it yesterday.
Happy New Year Florence. I love your cobweb shawl at the beginning. You really must keep it, it’s beautiful and I can’t believe how quickly you knitted it. What a whizz you are😂😂. You could crochet crab stitch at each end. That way you can bring it in a little so it doesn’t stretch and it will give a very nice finish. Any crochet stitch would work. Maybe a picot edge 😊.
I'm currently knitting my first sweater with your tutorial. I just decided to do it unicolor, because I found an awesome dark green. I also decided to knit it in an andalusian pattern to give it some texture.
I just adore you and your videos! Your personality is so gentle in your videos and makes for the perfect background video while I work on my own projects. I have been working on your beginners sweater pattern, and have loved it and your tutorial has made it so easy for me. I love your content and am so excited to see what this year brings!
Hey! Could you do a video one day on ethical yarns? I have been knitting since I was ten but only now discovering the world of sustainability in yarns. I was quite curious when you said that you don't agree with some of the things DROPS yarns stand for and you trying to buy them less. I would love a list/video on your favourite yarns and why. Loved this video though, beautiful pieces! 💙
I am so excited to try and knit your follow along beginner sweater:) It is going to be my first garment I ever knit after two succesful hot bottle covers and a dish cloth. I was wondering how you depill your knitted garments without damaging them?
how do you choose/substitute yarns that are recommended in the patterns? could you talk through the process? i've been trying to figure this out but i haven't been able to
I had a grandmother who taught me to knit but knitting has been more of a trial and error thing for me and I'm still not confident to knit for other people without a really simple knitting pattern
You've mentioned a couple of times that you don't like some practices from dropsdesign/garnstudio. I would be curious to know what kind of things you're referring to, because I tried to do some digging a few months ago and I found it strange that I didn't find much. Do you have any resource or insight you wouldn't mind to share?
i’ve heard some mixed stuff from retailers about the experience stocking their yarn, and also how they’ve found the company to be less transparent than others - i’m sorry I can’t point you in the direction of more concrete info!! i’m still using up my stash yarn though, and I think it’s great for people on a budget, but now I can afford to choose from more options and it’s not what I generally go for :)
Drops Flora wears so much better than Nepal, despite the exact same fibre content. I assume Flora has a tighter twist. I have a cardigan knit out of Nepal and it needs shaving after every other wear!
that’s so interesting! the nepal definitely doesn’t wear well but at least it’s easy to maintain. I doubt i’ll have the patience to knit a fingering weight jumper any time soon so I wouldn’t have known that about the flora!
how much wear do you put on those socks? Like, how many times a week and what kind of shoes? The yarn looks so delicate so I'm wondering how well they hold up.
I wear my hand knitted socks almost every day but have quite a lot of pairs to rotate between! I wear doc martens every day but avoid wearing the most delicate feeling socks with them that often. the ones that feel sturdy go through a lot though!
Great video, but I recomen better audio. It’s difficult sometimes to understand, at least for me that English is my 2nd language. There is like echo or something. Great job with all the knitting, I’m entry level and hope to get as good as you some day.
unfortunately I am recording in a big room and can’t get any better equipment so I can’t easily fix it! i’ll make more of an effort to speak slowly and clearly though
Absolutely love your sweater, the yarn, the color, the shape, everything

Lovely garments! ❤️🧶I think I can speak for a lot of people but I love the details you give about each piece and type of yarn. Can’t wait for part 3!
I agree! It’s nice to hear whether it’s beginner friendly too. 🧶
I absolutely love all of your summer knits!! So beautiful!!!
